I still think Victoria is amazing to have achieved this (along with you also!). 🙌
As a female runner myself who primarily runs on my own for all distances, I just wanted to ask, did Victoria find it helpful to have you there to run alongside and chat to during these events or would she have coped just as well on her own? I've got my first 100km later in the year and i'm wondering how she dug so deep and cracked on with them all despite feeling utterly horrendous in them. Did she call on your spirit to lift her or just her own sheer grit and determination from within?
Thank you 😊 I enjoyed completing the slam with Stephen, but didn’t ‘need’ him. For example, I did SDW50 on my own. When I have a low moment, Stephen leaves me alone to figure it out in my head.
