    I love all the negativity on the comments below. If you are a real reefer you always find a way to make things work. The aquarium is solid for the price. Stop crying and start saving up.

      Agreed. If the Red Sea price is too steep there are dozens of “reef on a budget” guides on CZcams. If you can’t afford a Ferrari, a Hyundai will still get you from A to B - the same principle applies to this hobby.

    Great looking tank. I like how clean and efficient the engineering of the back sump is. However, I'd like to get an option for a sump in the cabinet to expand the water volume for stability and to also extend the volume of the ATO water tank.

      We have done that in the REEFER NANO, the MAX NANO was designed to be sold with or without a cabinet, which makes adding the ports a bit of an issue.

    • @bearclawws
      @bearclawws Před 7 lety +1

      I like those black cobalt heaters and have one in all my tanks. I have never had one break or stop working, knock on wood lol. But the best part is it has a round temperature gage and a nice green light on so it that shows the temperature, and if the temperature fluctuates its immediate to react, unlike other therms. The best thing about the heater is I have never had one so precise. I had so many before these, but it really does better than anything I have had to keep the temperature from fluctuating. I have accidentally did a water change and left one exposed to the air and it did't bust or harm it. I have pulled them out momentarily while on. No I don't work for them, just trying to let you know they look nice inside the tank where you can constantly see that the heater is actually on and working with a quick glance, even in the dark. You don't have to turn on a light to check a thermometer on the glass since it has one on it. www.bulkreefsupply.com/cobalt-neo-therm-submersible-heater.html

    I am completely frustrated with Red Sea and the store that sell their aquariums. I've bought a Red Sea Max Nano on December 28th and I'll get it on estimated date January 23rd almost 1 month waiting, I already have everything set but aquarium is missing and I need to plan again because the water that I've prepared is not good anymore, maybe my live sand won't be good, live rocks too. I planned to get this aquarium in the beginning of January as the website was saying... again I'm so disappointed with this situation.

      It's actually around the same price. But you could alternatively have an IM nuvo fusion with a reactor, AI prime HD led, two return pumps, a skimmer, rock, and sand (excluding the cabinet) and salt for just under $1000. But that setup is just too complex for the beginner, so this setup is perfect fine. I just advise changing the top off system with a system that detects chemical concentration, not one that uses a float like the max nano. A im automatic top off kit is pretty much perfect.
