I love all the negativity on the comments below. If you are a real reefer you always find a way to make things work. The aquarium is solid for the price. Stop crying and start saving up.
Agreed. If the Red Sea price is too steep there are dozens of “reef on a budget” guides on CZcams. If you can’t afford a Ferrari, a Hyundai will still get you from A to B - the same principle applies to this hobby.
Straight to the top of my wish list!

Great looking tank. I like how clean and efficient the engineering of the back sump is. However, I'd like to get an option for a sump in the cabinet to expand the water volume for stability and to also extend the volume of the ATO water tank.
We have done that in the REEFER NANO, the MAX NANO was designed to be sold with or without a cabinet, which makes adding the ports a bit of an issue.
Beautiful system
Been waiting for a set up like this.... can't wait to place my order. Well done guys.
Thank you. Share it with us on Facebook once you set it up.

Red Sea, loving my new tank and the way things are going with my live stock. Going out today to get Red Sea a, b and c foundation along with the test kit. Been doing loads of research but struggling to get my head round the dosage for my nano.
Once I get my results would you be so kind to help me out with how much to dose daily/weekly???
Also thinking about Color program.
Thanks
Wow, this is a great all in one!
Than you

You're right ;0
I'm looking for something exactly like this! I've looked at a lot of tanks, my daughter had a aqua top, but everything was separate to purchase. And I know a little not a lot 20 gallons is a perfect start!
Ok thanks for telling me that I can have a blue tang in my 20 gallon aquarium!
It's for staging
When did he say that?
@@fishinwithnick3966 it's a joke because you need about 75 gallons minimum for a blue tang. There is one swimming in this 20 litre tank
@@stinz1993 ahh igu I usually get sarcastic jokes but for some reason I don’t even remember commenting this
Awesome tank. This makes me get into saltwater tanks..
me too
Very nice 👍
Yeah tell me how that works out running 8-10 azures, 4-5 Banggais, a Hippo, and god knows what else in that 20 gallon. I am a huge red sea supporter but large companies like this need to be more responsible in advertising realistic expectations for a reef aquarium.
Robert Rainey they have. They just all have sumps instead of all in ones.
Note taken.
Loads better than the first one
Thank you
Very good system but the black corners of the aquarium look ugly
would look more aesthetic with transparent silicone
Do they have covers for the top of the aquarium?
We have a DIY net cover, that you can build and cut to fit.
So if you put a lid on it, ATO unit will run more than 3 days right? Maybe a week to 10 days I am assuming. Though it looks way better without the top, you guys should make optional top for it. Anyways awesome tank!
Will pick one up planning on setting up a tank for a wartskin angler
It’s more crucial to keep smaller tanks chemically and biologically balanced as there is not much margin for error
Dry mouth at 3:32. Get that poor man a glass of water!
No Protein skimmer,No Wave maker pump,
No Titration pump. The easy to enjoy reef life.
no corals, parameter spikes, high maintenance, dead fish
Jesus, that tank looks so overcrowded.
Is there a way of reducing the evaporation, I live in an apartment in northern Europe and would like to avoid mould caused by the excess humidity?
Put a top on it
wow....nice
Thank you
How can I get replacement parts ? I bought a used one and I’m needing replacement parts.
Contact a local Red Sea Dealer of our tech support.
I find the ATO doesnt top it off enough, i hear alot of water fall noise just above the sock filter? any fixes?
what are the recommended settings for the ai prime with a mixed reef with a lot of sps

Great call! Lol
My only complaint is there's no real room in the sump for a heater. My tank drops to 70F at night. (No stock just cycling)
I like those black cobalt heaters and have one in all my tanks. I have never had one break or stop working, knock on wood lol. But the best part is it has a round temperature gage and a nice green light on so it that shows the temperature, and if the temperature fluctuates its immediate to react, unlike other therms. The best thing about the heater is I have never had one so precise. I had so many before these, but it really does better than anything I have had to keep the temperature from fluctuating. I have accidentally did a water change and left one exposed to the air and it did't bust or harm it. I have pulled them out momentarily while on. No I don't work for them, just trying to let you know they look nice inside the tank where you can constantly see that the heater is actually on and working with a quick glance, even in the dark. You don't have to turn on a light to check a thermometer on the glass since it has one on it. www.bulkreefsupply.com/cobalt-neo-therm-submersible-heater.html
I like the stand. Where can I get one?
Any Red Sea Dealer can get it for you.

Very nice.....
But What happens if something breaks down on the filtration system as it is very compact?
I assuming that you already had think about that and you have the spares parts for sale. Right?..
Of course
If it can handle the most complex sps why is there only one flow area . they like different flow areas like left and right not just 1 direction
The amount of flow in a small tank like that is sufficient. If you feel you have to add another pump, go for it. We saw it's an overkill.
Does the cabinet open up at all?
Beautiful tank... but not big enough for a tang! I’m sure u saw a blue tang at 1:28 on the left hand side... tut tut #tangpolice
true a blue tang need like 80-100G but Im sure this is only for staging and it'll get upgraded to a bigger system in their place
my ato doesn't seem to be working...is there an adjustment?
You should take it apart for cleaning every now and then.

@@Redseafish thank you
Is there a mixed reef reef care recipe available for this tank online somewhere? I looked and found a sheet that has “max and reefer” suggested recipes...but nothing for this tank.
Here you go:

The recipes match all tanks it's just a matter of testing and supplementing.
I am completely frustrated with Red Sea and the store that sell their aquariums. I've bought a Red Sea Max Nano on December 28th and I'll get it on estimated date January 23rd almost 1 month waiting, I already have everything set but aquarium is missing and I need to plan again because the water that I've prepared is not good anymore, maybe my live sand won't be good, live rocks too. I planned to get this aquarium in the beginning of January as the website was saying... again I'm so disappointed with this situation.
Hi, we are sorry to hear about it. Other than being our tank, the store has to supply it, correct? Please communicate with the store, as we cannot control the store's orders and distribution process.
Hi @Rob Holmes, sorry about the late, I just saw you comment today. Please follow my videos on my channel and all the problems that I had with the tank, solutions and now it's working well.

Are you able to use an external source for auto top off? If I could connect it to my 25L RO Container that would be a deal done.
You can add
emove whatever you want to it. The top up is to allow the salinity to remain stable for about 24-48h due to the small size of the system and by that keep it stable.
What kind of gorgonia is that?
How does one heat the water. Those look like warm water fish to me.is there an integrated heater?
If you need a heater or a chiller you will need to add it separately.
I have been hearing on CZcams videos that the return pipes are prone to crack. I was wondering if this problem has been resolved?
yes
What else is needed after purchasing this tank? Thank you !
The only equipment needed is a heater.
@@Mark-Dibble and salt and rock and sand and fish food and buffers and conditioner OR RODI

It's so bad! The LED50 does only work with the app, and the app doesn't work! Even the Pump is so loud, you can't even use the aquarium in your living room. I'm so disappointed...

As anyways, nice tank! however showing a blue tang in such small volume is definitely not wise...
Steph Diesel pretty sure they weren't tangs looked like damsels to me.
yeah they are yellow tail damsels, but there is one shot with a blue tang
nice, how much is it?
Way too expensive, that's how much..
cost?
It varies between the markets. Please contact your local Red Sea Dealer.

i bought one had nothing but problems with unbearable noisey skimmer pumps
Mitchell Kypreos me too. Thinking about returning it to the store where i bought it. The pumps resonate and red sea is still thinking about a solution... It's beautiful to see, but almost unbearable in the livingroom.
If I remember correctly the issue is being taken care of Red Sea UK. If that's a new issue we are unaware of please contact us using this form:

so is it good now? do you think its good for beginner ?
red sea will take care of it their customer service is phenomenal I bought one of the first max 250 units....had a few kinks but red sea made every problem right again best csv in the industry
well they havent done nothing and its been 4 months
Are you all selling these products?
Yes
Классная банка , но таких денег он не стоит . Очень дорого !😏
Beautiful, but I'm sure it is expensive
Cheaper than buying all the components separately.
It's actually around the same price. But you could alternatively have an IM nuvo fusion with a reactor, AI prime HD led, two return pumps, a skimmer, rock, and sand (excluding the cabinet) and salt for just under $1000. But that setup is just too complex for the beginner, so this setup is perfect fine. I just advise changing the top off system with a system that detects chemical concentration, not one that uses a float like the max nano. A im automatic top off kit is pretty much perfect.
The worst purchase of my life the lights and the skimmer came defective.
The problems of the microbubbles, the third that I have and all with the same network of problems, is to evaluate their products and offer a better quality and guarantee.

OMG!!! Tang Police! It's an infomercial about the aquarium... Calm Down people!
Very nice, but what about a TOP???? Last time I checked MOST Saltwater Fish JUMP. NEEDS a Glass Top.
Not all, but we will consider making a screen.
No Top on reef tank!!...Of course...is very dangerous...CO2 go down PH if there no O2 contact.
Rob Holmes lol je ne parle pas bien anglais...
Je disais qu'un aquarium couvert n'est pas idéal en récifal car l'oxygénation de l'eau n'est pas optimal ;)
No biological filtration
Live rock?
Live rocks and sand are the biological filtration.
You can always add bio-media if you want to have a minimal design.
