Good video! The night catching reminded me of when I was young and we used to spear bullfrogs at night down at the shallow end of the lake where there was a log jam. I'm glad for your CZcams's sake you CAUGHT them and didn't shoot them! I'm hungry now. Keep the videos coming, Thomas
Man those are huge!!!!! The longer you let em soak in the water the more spice gets into the crawfish. After they come to a boil just add lil ice and let sit longer...plus the other ingredients will soak in the spices👍🏼
Hey guys, good little vid, you have a new sub from Louisiana the Crawfish capital ; ). Might I suggest next time add some ‘Louisiana Crawfish boil,’ you can order online if you like. And also suggest bringing water to a rolling boil before adding Crawfish and cutting water off after 4 min and let them soak for 20.... also if you would like juicier spiced crawfish throw a frozen 2Ltr bottle of water in with top still on in with the Crawfish... this will make them cool faster making them soak up more water and spices. Don’t throw ice in because it will dilute water and spices, be sure to leave cap on frozen water bottle. When you are eating them you should say “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” :) Google it !

A little trick on the claw meat...some times if they are cooked just right and its the right time of the season you can break off the little opposable part, put the big end in your lip and apply suction, put your finger on the little open end where you tore off the "thumb" apply suction hard and then release your finger. you suck the claw meat right out of the shell. You can eat a bunch of claws fast, I eat the claws first 'cause they need to be warm for it to work. Great vid, you guys know how to have fun.

These are basically fresh water lobsters. They're absolutely delicious if you prep them right. Most places don't scrape that green/grey algae/shit stuff out. It totally kills the flavor if you leave that green shit in.
