Again, swearing is not a sign of snapping at someone. Pewdiepie swears a lot, not to mention swearing is far more common in other languages than it is in english. Finnish people, especially young people might swear every few words, doesnt mean that they are snapping at anyone, it is part of normal vocabulary

when you present yourself to the public in media, you are presenting yourself as someone to spend time with, character or no, the viewer is there along for the ride, and they feel a connection to the subject.
it is only the one behind the camera that doesn't get to experience the other person, so of course the audience feels like they know the person because they do, at least as much as they know any other average friend at any rate, given the same amount of face time, yet the one behind the camera should also understand that by engaging with the audience they are building this relationship, and he does that's why he apologized, at the same time it's easy to empathize because he doesn't usually get to see the reaction of the viewer to his work either, so it's easy to feel disconnected from the fanbase, and forget that oh yea, i poured myself out to these people, and they love me because of it.
