The Unity game of the year made by one person! I gave myself the made by one person Unity award. =) Anyway, so I'm still working on play testing and ironing out as many glitches as possible before release. I really really want to get this out on Steam in December so I've been working hard to get this thing going!
I have literally made thousands of changes in the past month. Mostly just small stuff that needs to be fixed or for an improved experience, but probably both.
Thanks for watching! If you like it, be sure to keep following for the actual release on Steam!
Thanks a ton for the support guys! Thumbs up if you like it! Thanks guys!

I'm really happy for you man, this game looks amazing! I wish you all the best.
Thanks! =)
Awesome man....really good ..best of luck
Thanks! I'm doing my best to make this happen!
Looks really cool, reminds me a lot of Uncharted, I kind of assume this was the goal. Good Luck!
I actually had never even heard of Uncharted before starting this game. Some people had mentioned it to me and I checked it out.
cant wait to see this game finished!! keep up the great work... also how much are you thinking about selling it for?
Thanks!! At the moment I have a price of $9.99 on the Steam store (it's not live yet). We'll see how that goes!
So how does memory management work with open world games in Unity? Does it clear out old information from memory when simply not in view or too far away?
Use occlusion culling and disable objects. Even if you can't "see" objects, they can still be active in the scene and it will LAAAAAG if it takes up too much memory.
change the animation maybe? its a bit funny thought
The walk animation? It's swagger though! =)
Lol,btw when early access come?
If I can fix these last couple issues I should have it ready to go in January 2017. So just a few weeks.
some tips from me
1.change the walk animation
2.change the run animation
yeahh thats it
exactly :D
NIce Game, how did you do Dialogue system with diagram? Is it possible that you would make tutorial about it?
I'll likely make a lot of tutorials after I'm done with the game.
Looks like a nice game for a single person. I assume though that you are using things from the assets shop or did you make the graphical aspects(charactor model(s), trees, plants, animations, etc) for it as well? If you did those as well then this is double if not triply impressive lol ... hope it goes well for you.
I got a lot of assets from the unity store. I made about 95% of the characters and there's a lot you don't see in the vids really. I modeled some other things, but most of it is from the Unity store. Having said that, getting the assets is the easy part. Making it all work together is where the magic happens.
you should make this an Android apk, And put it on google play ;) May need to spend some time fixing performance issue, but you should give it a try if you have time! can't wait to buy your game on steam doe! Love your work btw! keep it up!
Thanks man. I've considered making it mobile. I would have to redo a lot. It's a thought, and a possible option though in the future.
Shikaote ShikStorm i'm an Android game developer myself (not a good one) but i know how hard it is to covert a game ;) But good luck With your work!
Thanks! To tell you the truth though, I've never made a mobile game, or any game for that matter. This is the first game I've made. =)
this looks cool cant wait for the release :D
Thanks! It's almost there!!!
:) but i think the walking animation is not rlly good :/
yeah? why? Seems pretty legit.
it doesnt look realistic
It's the swagger walk. I actually thought that was the part that looked the best lol. =)
The game looks great. Were you the only one working on this game or was there others. I am currently starting a Medieval game from scratch and was just wondering. Let me know when this game goes live. Would love to check it out
I'm the only one working on it. I just uploaded my game to Steam a few days ago and I'm waiting for approval to go live. There are a couple kinks I want to work out, but if I don't it wouldn't effect the game too much.
There is a asset on unity asset store for saving and loading and its encrypted i used it once and its perfect (some bugs at start but i fixed them)
i think the name of the asset is "advance save system"
Hey man, how can i get my game noticed like your's?
Well, first, be awesome, second, be even more awesome. That about sums it up. =) Btw, that's a huge question.
Is it out on steam already?
Not yet. I'm almost done fixing things. I just have a few more bugs to work out. =)
Could you please change the icon for the health? It looks a bit poor.
Oh, so you don't like it? I'll see what I can whip up!!
Well you're in luck because I just made a new one that matches the compass a bit.
Great, I'm interested in getting the game when it comes out!
Awesome! I honestly might have just left it the way it was, but because of you I made the change! =) Your input actually does matter! Thanks!
Sounds great! I'm doing my best to make this happen.
It reminds me a bit in Uncharted.
did you do this alone
Yup. I've built it all myself. I've used the help of the online community in forums A LOT for support, but built it solo.
Cailuld you do a tutorial vid
At the moment I'll be focusing on updates and building the game. I do plan on doing some tutorials to build this. But honestly I could do 100 tutorials on making this game and still have tons to cover.
How come you arent using GI
The jungle atmosphere isn't really an ideal place for reflections compared to an exterior building layout with reflective surfaces.
It's a good game, but it has 2009 graphics and it's also very laggy....
I miss the fury warrior
BTW the game looks sick, but I had a good laugh when I saw how the dude was running, looks like he pooped his pants hehehehe
Well it's a lot better than it used to be. This guy used to be stiff as a board. It's a lot better now. =)
so this game for sure wont be runnable on a computer that doesnt have a gpu im guessing?
I'll be testing that shortly. To run on the best settings you'll probably want a decent computer. However, you can adjust the graphics setting which can drastically increase performance. Of course if you turn down the settings, the graphics won't be as cool, but it should work. I'll be testing on an i3, i5 etc so see how that handles.
+Shikaote ShikStorm If you don't mind answering can you say whats your PC's specs are?
AMD FX8350
GTX 960
24GB DDR
liquid cooling system
900w power
540read/write ssd
jesus, thats a powerful rig. im sure you will, but if you benchmark it make sure you specify how powerful the machine youre using is
***** Oh right I forgot to ask one question. Do you think a constant 60fps is possible on a higher-end rig or are you expecting Unity Engine limits?
can i play core2 ram 4GB tell me now help
With those specs it will be extremely close. I would say at the moment that's just not enough. I think if I continued to optimized the game after early access it may be possible. But to be sure I'll be testing it on some different systems. I tried playing it on my laptop with dual core and 4gb ddr and there's no way it was gonna happen. Although I do allow about six different graphics settings, so if you do have a lower end computer system it will be a lot better.
also, if you need help with saving i could help you
you should work on the animations a little
Which animations? or all of them? You don't like the swagger walk animation? =)
Shikaote ShikStorm Most of them look unpolished, and dont have weight to them
I'll make some adjustments. If I have more time I'll polish it up, but it might be part of early access as I go through and continue to fix things.
one of the biggest things i can see right away - are the animations, they are too bad... Visually it is not the best at all..
Not had nice
