@@agadagauyodhu3421 The whole movie deals with WW2 and the Holocaust where Benengi plays a father trying to maintain his sonâs innocence and convince his son that itâs all just a game. At the ending of the film which you see in the video when the Nazis are clearing out the camp they had the Jews in, Benigni hides his son in a metal box and is taken away by a Nazi. As he walks away from his son you can in the video heâs still acting happy and as if it was a game so that his son doesnât realize the truth of what was going on. The dude died protecting his son and keeping him from the harms of war.

I remember in 2002 when I was in 8th grade we watched Life is Beautiful. We were all crying at the end and it hit home to us, a generation of kids who only knew of peace until 9/11 the year before, what war could truly mean, not just for soldiers but the ones left behind who try to survive

The 90s had some of the best nominees and very diverse when you look at the nominated genres. The last 10 years, the only films considered worthy of best picture / screenplay / acting are dramatic films; most are usually forgotten days after watching em.
