Theres also this mystic aura to them because back then theres no social media to follow our fave celebrities to keep us updated. Only magazines, news, talk shows, ect we’ll get to know more of them.
Generation X was the last to have substance even under the limelight. They read, they were cultured, they grew up in a family of performers, they were literate
I think this era was peak Hollywood. I know the 40s-60s was a golden era too, but the 90s was when mass media had really kicked in and there was huge coverage of these actors/stars. There was still a lot of talent around and true filmmakers. Not so much today.

The glitz & glamour is long gone. The Oscars is no longer watchable. This is what happens when Hollywood decided to let ANYBODY walk the red carpet without any TALENT !!!! Nowadays you see social media influencers buying tickets to these red carpet event like it's a sporting game. Makes it tacky AF. Everything has its place. And these celebrities nowadays why nobody cares about them. When it stops being EXCLUSIVE. That's the end results.
