You also have to remember when Beserk was made what it does in the way of tropes were the original ideas at the time. This was to fantasy as what Ghost in the Shell was to Sci-Fi at the time.
Whenever I play Dark Souls or Bloodborne I listen to the Berserk music
It's a shame they never continued the story. "Cliffhanger" doesn't even come close to describing how it ended
You have the Manga of course but its not the same
It didn’t even show Skullknight who was supposed to show up before the eclipse and (obviously if you know what happens after the show) eventually show up during the eclipse suggesting that everyone just dies in the end and that’s it. That’s worse than a cliffhanger.

this tbh Puck balances the grimdark despair. I didnt like him at first but ended up being my favorite character aside from papa Guts

12:23 he is over 2 meter (6’7+ for Americans) and is built like a tank. The strength you can take it from that. Related to pain resistance, it’s a thing that you can build up the more you get physically hurt, so that doesn’t look that unnatural for somebody in his early 20’s that was constantly on a battle field. It can be a stretch, but not totally impossible
It's totally impossible, but that's not the point. It's a weird cope that people need to pretend completely unrealistic stuff is realistic.

Hey Argent, did you watch the series in the English dub or Japanese? I myself watched it in English and it it definitely one of the best English dubs in anime. Also you should do a video on the new memorial edition for the Berserk movies, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on them.

Could you do an analysis of Black Lagoon? (English Dub) One of my all time favourite dark fantasy series with great characterisation. Definitely would recommend if you haven't watched it yet
