Another Tier list! loving these videos man, I'm new to Legion and I love hearing about all the units in the context of their counterparts in other armies. I love the subjectivity of this content, the game is very complex and I like hearing about experienced players' experiences rather than some netlist "objective truth best list builds" type of information online. Can't wait for the rest all the way to heavies! (Battle force video even maybe? too early though maybe)
I am playing Rebel Commandos full squad with sniper al the time and I have never regretted using them. 2 of the best keywords, sharpshooter and pierce on the same unit, yes please.
Pathfinders can be A, B or C for me... either they do something incredible that wins the game, like chew up a shielded unit with their ion, or ascension cable off with a box... or they die horribly and miss their shots. I can't stop taking them for the drama, but they're always a gamble.
Yeah... ARCs are pretty crap. Them being the "main reason" to play 501st Legion seems like AMG were just trying to meme GAR players. BARCs are much better list filler than an ARC strike team, and leave your list open to Wookiees. Wait... Rebel Mandos as A?! Yeah... really don't agree with that one. Compare them to Shadow Collective Mandos, ANY Rebel Wookiee unit, or even Bistan Pathfinders. Rebel Mandos honestly leave a lot to be desired. Clan Wren with Sabine is fantastic though. Glad you pointed out the real gem of Empire Scout Troopers. 48 points for 8 black dice is fantastic. They can be a menace with Duck And Cover holding objectives or acting as a close range distraction for gunlines and Vader. Found great use for them in a Krennic/Iden list, or with any Empire commander really. Pretty well agree with rest of your list though. Would probably bump Inferno Squad to C though, your point about if you would consider them outside a single list was spot on. I would never consider them in an Empire list unless I was running Iden and even with Iden the only real reason to take them is that they are cheap-ish and get a free token.
Gonna have to disagree with you about the commandos won so many games with them coming in clutch. Run em with han and chewie and as long as you can have light cover and bring some smoke grenades and it's pretty solid.
We're trying really hard to get back into those. Full disclosure: Kris and Dan and Joe don't have a great place to record Legion gameplay right now. Leo and Kurt have been planning on recording some games and have been working on a great setup but COVID and other life things have been getting in the way of that starting up. So to answer your question: YES! just not as soon as we'd been hoping...
What i dont agree with: Reb mandos are not that good. No way in hell are they better then death troopers Speeking of deathtroopers are awsome. Definitly A. Rebel commandos are dirt cheap for what they offer. I played with and against them and they are 100% better then paths. Speaking of yet again paths are rly rly hard to make work. And even if they do i dont think its worth it.

As a GAR player I feel like the arcs lowkey suck and since I’ve picked up a few wookies, I find myself taking them way more

Arcs are way to overpriced, usually they get shot off the board before they do anything.
