    On this video I will show how I installed a manual fan switch in my truck.
    In the extreme heat I like to turn it on any my discretion.

    Mine was staying on. A/C over charged. I added some to tue system and found out later it was a chip bag blocking the return. Just having the single little gauge I didn’t know the accuracy plus head pressure so I over charged it. Just let some out until the suction line was cold and bam!! Air con working and fan is off.

    On a modern International (if you have access to the dealer software) all you have to do is order a switch, plug the switch into any blank slot where the other switches go, and change a parameter in the body control software. All done!

    Just did this install by watching this video using the same switch from fleet pride total cost $65.00 and that's because quarter inch air line was sold to me in bulk for about $15.00 if not it would've been cheaper.🤟

    Hey man thanks for the help with the repair videos I had a question about your orange Columbia that’s a glider are you able to run paper logs on that since it has the 12.7 pre emission in it or how does that work?     Excuse my stupid question.
    So this installation means that you no longer will depend on the solenoid to kick in when needed and there for you will need to watch it all time, correct

      No sir...it will still be automatic...however you will be able to turn it on anytime you want rather than waiting for the truck to do it.
      Some trucks come with this switch factory installed. We are just adding it to a truck that doesn't have it.

    I just did this to my truck but I was wondering wouldn’t the switch be blocking the airway for the Fan clutch to turn on ?!

      Not if you do it right. It will be an on/ auto switch rather than on/off

    My fan is going to be on only when am driving and stays on till I stop I did everything one side of my hood is way off is that has to do with anything

      You should never disable the fan. You need to find the problem and fix it. I have a video on that

      Replace all sensors,solenoid,I haven’t Done the A/C high pressure measurements yet
      Someone said it can be ECM Igor a 12.7 Detroit

      I have a peterbilt 357 and my fan won’t turn on automatically and the temp is too high like 215 and nothing I have to turn on manually 😢

    I have a 2004 FL M2 106 & fan spins freely, even at 210f, does the '04 FL supply 12v to solenoid to turnON fan or turn OFF fan ? Could I mount simply dash switch to control 12v to solenoid instead of messing with air lines ?

      No... Never defeat the solenoid . You should never make it so u can turn it off manually. Only on or auto. Disabling it is a bad idea

      maybe.... but dont ever disable the fan.... make sure you can turn it on

    Which line on the solenoide do connect to the one going to fan clutch or the other line

    Could of saved the time and just tap a switched ground into the fan control module behind the coolant reservoir.

      Seems like the same amount of work, either it's wire or air line and a switch.

    Why not just wire the toggle to ground to opperate the fan ?

      it should never be set up to where you can disable it all together. mine makes it on or automatic. not on or off.

      @@DIYSEMI thanks for reply recently had fan going non stop replaced solenoid,ac switches,then mechanic told me it was the ecm sent it to ecm repair they said nouthing was wrong with it plugged it back in everything worked correctly a week long ordeal .guessing I had a bad connection on the ecm only thing I can figure.

      There is a place in Glasgow KY that sells new ones. I personally don't recommend fitgerald. There is a dealer in the Midwest called Harrison....they are good

      Fan on all the time will cause lower fuel mileage. But no different than if the truck turns it on

      It will function exactly like it did before with the switch off. When you flip the switch it locks it on....its not an on/off switch....it's an on/auto switch.

      Installed a new suspension leveling valve with a dump. Ran air line to the dash. Connected it to a switch
