I have a KIA EV6 with the Meridian sound system. I want to do something to improve the sound of the system. Would these new speakers do the trick? My system has the following speakers: Tweeters (x4), Woofers (x4), Center Channel (x1), Midranges (x2), Subwoofer (x1), Surrounds (x6). I would probably need a DSP of some kind to fix the factory equalizer settings. I'm in the PNW too so I'm excited by this line of speakers. I'll even bring my car to MLT if that helps (I'm nearby...).
i just bought the coaxials 6X9 and compared them in sound quality to my alpine type R (old version) same coaxial 6X9, in my opinion they do not stand a chance against the alpine, the sound on the alpine is crispier and more detailed, i am not being a hater, there is no review about sound test of these speakers, i regret i actually got these set hoping it will improve the sound but ended up being a downgrade. one more question, is there a break in period for the speaker? cause out the box the are not good. Audio control is a good brand in sound quality but i am dissapointed this time.
@@autodidact7127my amps are alpine pdx, they work at 2ohm and 4 ohms, these ones are 3ohms, the alpine type R are 4ohms, and they have more clarity in my opinion.

Thank you for saving me. Did you pay attention to the Ohms? Meaning are you running them loaded correctly and your type Rs were they 2 ohm?

well my amps are Alpine PDX they work at 4 and 2 ohm. they alpine ones are 4ohm and the audio control are 3ohms
If I'm already using Audio Control amps with built in DSP do I need the extra crossovers?
