Just got mine two days ago. Absolutely love it! Perfect combination of design function and ergonomics. Deck motors are extremely powerful and the 28HP statement is legit. Capt's chair is pure gold and super comfortable. Very simple display and controls. Monitor tells you everything you need to know. Mower frame and deck are overbuilt for a 30" mower but that is great IMO. My first time mowing with it and cut front and back yard. This is with way too many turn arounds and passes to get all of the spots I missed and battery power was at 63%. Running cut speed at Max and drive speed at lowest setting, My lot is a good 1/4 acre. I could keep going on about the great build quality and features but I'm not. Too glad I bought this mower and my back is thanking me all the time, IMO Ryobi has knocked this one out of the park with these Idrive joystick mowers.

Just got mine last week, working my way up the learning curve. Only issues so far is on wet grass slopes it can slide sideways, have to do that part by hand. Charge it up with my roof top solar just like my Tesla Model Y, will never have anything that runs on gas again.

How well does the 30" model work on hills?
Pretty sure it depends on how steep the hill is. IMO mine has a ton of torque and I'm still driving in the lowest setting, I think their tech support would be honest and let you know what the max incline it will still mow at. If I lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains I would want to know that info.
Not having a separate charger where you take thr batteries out to charge them inside lost you the sale on this one. I do not have a heated and cooled garage. No go for me, and I was this close.
The charger that comes with it can be connected directly to the batteries inside.
