  • SUCH an old video. Filmed and edited in April and I forgot all about it. Talking about things that happened a year ago but the scar is still here so if you have any advice on how to remove one, do let me know.

    SUCH an old video! Filmed and edited around spring time, and then completely forgot about it. I'm talking about things that happened a year ago, but the scar is still here so if you have any sensible advice, do let me know :)

      Great to see you running no mirrors JoJo. They're pretty much useless on sport bikes & it makes filtering So much easier but very few get that!
      Very frank vlog & you have a great attitude for sure so regardless of how old it is thanks for the post... Been a while ✌X

      Sorry to hear about your tit, advice from my sister who worked in a skin clinic (of which my aunt owns) - if it's full healed then it’s recommended you go for skin needling. The whole process injures the skin on a superficial level and triggers the healing process. This process generates new layers on skin causing the top ones to shed in the treated area. Depending on how deep the scar is will depend on the result. At the very least it will be vastly improved. You'll need to go for a consultation. Treatments are pricey. However, a cheaper but not quite as effective alternative is to get a skin "stamping" tool or home skin roller, this will have a similar effect but won't go as deep. Hopefully this is helpful.

      your poor boob! if you ever drop hot liquid on you, find cold running water straight away and wet it for at least 10minutes, my younger brother poured a cup of boiling water over himself when he was young and my mum threw him in the bath and ran cold water over him, he has no scar at all.

    JoJo,I have an 8inch scar on my left cheek. Please don't fall for scar reduction creams alot of them dry out the scar tissue. That's what was advised after I had over 70 stitches internally and externally. Only thing the plastic surgeon advised was E45, the scentless type.

    hahaha, Jo you about as good as me at putting my satnav back on its mount. Camberley is near me, I would stick to Poole if I were you. Is your tank all scratched up or is that dead bugs?

    Hey Jo have you look at the men's chest protector, obviously I can't speak for the female but I know what you mean, I remember when you did that dainese fitting with baron and he showed the tiny little womens chest protector. And the scar oh man, fingers crossed it should face, I burnt my whole left hand last year and it's barely noticeable.

    hey you, I think scars you can look at in two ways , for example there are ladys that our out there that have self confidence issues after children , stretch marks etc , but they way they should look at it is there are 10 million plus women that will never see those scars and can't have children, and need to accept the skin that they are in and have a fond memorys, and an everlasting one. The other things with scars is the person who judges you for it is yourself, the biggest battles you ever have in life are with yourself and your own mind , the person you need to get by is yourself... if you were stood in front of a 1000 people, I bet not one person would even mention it , it would be , wow you have beautiful eyes , or you contagious laugh , your big smile , your positive attitude towards life , what a great mum you are annddd so on ... the future man or husband in your life will never be concentrated on a scar , you just wear it with pride and the story becomes a " oh you silly monkey " and is laughed off :) . if you were dead against it and can't fight yourself or your own brain maybe a tattoo would help .. but deep down the story is accept it, and move on .. such a long winded post I hope this may make you even slightly sleepy ... if you are still awake... the end ... x :)

  • @Simonize41
    @Simonize41 Před 6 lety +2

    A scar becomes part of you and you should try and see it as a new friend. A mark in time perhaps. And any decent guy out there that is in your life should never frown upon it and he should see it as something unique to you; a little jewel (if that were to happen of course). That’s my two pence worth. Take care Joanna.

    Good video! Bikes are as dangerous as you let them be, let me explain. You can be reckless and suicidal like Motonosity or 650ib or you can take it easy and ride defensibly, it's all a mindset. I have seen Vloggers (Chaseontwowheels) riding a bike along an avenue and you see a car creeping forward about to pull out of a parking lot and instead of slowing down (actually sped up slightly) all they do is mutter to the camera, "don't do it, don't effing do it", slow the hell down and stop wishing that the car doesn't pull out.

      Not always; but accelerating away from possible trouble is better than slowing to actually wait to let it happen. Again not like a daredevil but more, offensive, preventive, safety riding. One should utilize both as the situation calls for.

    Sorry to hear about you accidents. Scars need quality oils and time. Research to find an oil you like that is also known to help. Also I’d look on u tube (dr axe or dr greger are proper nutritionalists) and see what you can add to your diet to aid skin healing. I’m sure you have already done this but you did ask.

    Ouch...A blessing and a curse :-) Which does raise the question on how chest protectors would work out for female riders. Surely there are female riders who wear one for MX/Trail Riding? Your videos are funny. You are such a 'girl', but that is refreshing. The traffic there is insane. I'd lose my mind sitting in a car for 3 hours to drive 75 miles.

      DrumHeadV Highway code 191 - 199 states clearly you are not allowed to overtake moving or stationary vehicles on the zig zag lines on the approach to a pedestrian crossing. You can be prosecuted.
