Originally trained in her home of Aotearoa, New Zealand and Australia, Aivale Cole boasts a unique portfolio of performances, including iconic operatic title roles such as Aida (Verdi), Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss) and Madama Butterfly (Puccini), in unique venues from the Sydney Opera House to performing for the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace.
Cole celebrates her rich cultural history through her career journey, from her inspirational performance in the Samoan Opera, Classical Polynesia, at the International Festival of the Arts, New Zealand to featuring on “The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings” soundtrack with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. As a powerful and pioneering artist, she has been hand selected to represent New Zealand on the global stage numerous times, representing the Commonwealth at Westminster Abbey, the International Rugby Toa Samoa teams, representing Arts and Culture at the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Bringing her courageous vulnerability to the stage, Cole passionately believes in the power of music to unite and heal communities, and provide a space for everyone to feel human again. Having broadcast successfully across New Zealand and Australia, Cole is excited to bring her unique Opera and Jazz combinations to a UK audience. Cole enjoys working with many accompanists as each one in each city always brings something special in their partnership.
In March to April 2024 Cole toured her 'To Aotearoa with Love' Concert around New Zealand and ending it with ‘From Aotearoa with Love’ in Putney, London, United Kingdom at the end of May 2024.
With her personal concerts, Aivale Cole will take you on a journey, growing up with a musical family (extended as well as immediate family) that loved singing, to discovering opera and classical music at her high school in Wellington, New Zealand where her singing teacher assigned her songs from Gabriel Faure and George Bizet to now singing some of the greatest Opera Arias as well as popular Jazz Standards and other genres. Aivale will guarantee a simple and beautiful intimate evening with voice and piano.
