Thanks Bill, for the extension. Works like a charm. One thing though which you may wish to share. I simply can't understand why most Ryker drivers and CZcams videos do not know that the simplest way to shift gear on a Ryker, is to press down on the shift lever with the flat of your foot and then simply pull your leg back. Easy Peasy. No reaching to grab the lever or hooking you toes underneath.
Perhaps this is a Canadian thing?
Yes we understand that it may be easy for some people to shift from forward to reverse however other people may have troubles. Everyone is different so there is lots of options to make it easier for yourself.

Hey Bill, I appreciate all your Ryker videos the info is very helpful. I have the ryker 600 and for the second time in a yr my VSS engages in ALL left turns no matter how sharp the curve or how fast I'm going. Shops here in NC seem to be clueless about these things. Any ideas on what could be causing this. The bike senses I'm turning to fast and about to flip but that's not the case. It's only in left turns. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
Possibly the steering angle sensor
I think that was replaced back in January. Bike spent almost 3 months in two shops last winter and it seemed fixed when I got it back in February. Unfortunately, the same problem has returned this week. I’ll try and check the connections to that sensor. Thanks!

Bill I have a question. Yesterday went to get on Ryker, wouldn’t start. Charged battery got vss code and !. Tried today bike started no code check engine light on turn bike off 10 min later break light still on blinking. Tapped breaks continue to blink like there’s a short had to disconnect battery for light to go off. Have you heard anything like this before?
My best guess is that the battery is shot a dead battery on these bikes or even a low voltage battery can cause all kinds of issues.. I would definitely check the status of the battery or replace the battery
Hey how can u fix side panels lockdown clamp on the bike if they break so now when I ride my panels be flappy Like a bird
Unfortunately I don't know how to fix a plastic panel that is broken however most of the plastic panels are relatively cheap if you order one new from a company called cheap cycle parts.. they carry every single OEM part for the Can-Am rYker...

For some riders this is not true whatsoever. Some people can't even reach that footpeg. So by you saying easy peasy or by saying the easiest or simplest way to shift. That is just your personal opinion. That does not fit every single person that rides the bike. This is why aftermarket parts come out to accommodate those of us that cannot shift in the same fashion that you're able to.
