Milo's right when the guest comes on: No Hi, no catching up, just straight "So in 1992, how did you feel???" 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahha I laughed so hard at that
Miloš wait for these questions to put them this like a 20 years😂
@@ascendikhealth3203 I love him though. A true character of the industry!
Balkan style,no messing around
@@ascendikhealth3203 What?
Imagine just Milo’s and Dorian in a room judging physiques and being filmed. The amount of arguing would be comedy gold 😂
Love that Milos is still trying to find out everything he can about the secrets of Dorian’s success all these years later. Dorian certainly had a unique combination of ingrained mindset and genetics.
Who wouldn't want to learn from him?
We did seminars together in UK...trained few times (Gold's Venice, Temple Gym Birmingham, and Koloseum Gym ) and drove for hours - so I had a chance to pick his brain and indeed - he is brilliant, different and super inspiring.
@@milossarcev7538 Always wanting to learn more is great. It’s also great watching all you legends of bodybuilding’s best era chatting together.
Curiosity is the hallmark of intelligence.
@@f19ash interesting isn't it because Dorian doesn’t give a shit about anyone else's training methods haha.
@@milossarcev7538 I don't know about where the HIT studies are coming from, I believe you were right, that 1 minute/week training does not seem enough even if it is intense.
Dorian's box darkens as the video progresses, thus truly making him The Shadow!💪🏾
Lol
Lmfao
😂😂😂💀💀💀
Dorian was the reason me and 2friends started training. 30 years ago. We still train now . And maybe not as intense but the same principle. This man was and still is a true inspiration to us
💯
I love Milos! He brings character and entertainment to these podcasts. Can't wait for next weekends podcast :)
Great gang of old friends!
And also 8inches
Milos was rude and out of line trying to make himself seem more knowledgeable than Dorian.
@@lh9140 no he wasn't.
Listening to Dorian speak and his knowledge is absolutely priceless. There isn't a time I hear him speak I don't learn something. I could listen to him endlessly. Thank you for sharing.
I love how honest, no nonsense he is. A true legend.
Sounds like hes just making shit up now
@Brian Josephy , probably. Its not like Dorian trained THAT long. His was genetics and drugs. He turned pro a couple years after training
He just ain’t intelligent on training but also on what’s really going on in this world I’ve huge respect for Mr Yates
Yeah great knowledge.. 1minute of cardio a day is enough to get in shape 😂😂
Much respect to Milos 👏🏼
That was a phenomenal podcast! Dorian is a true legend, but you gotta love Milos with his rapid fire questions. Y'all need to do more of the fab 4!!
Milos is right. But Dorian talks about cardio health. Milos talked about burning fat.
Cardio doesnt burn fat.. it burns calories
@@rtds2024 Depends on heart rate. Too high you mostly burn carbon hydrate energy. But low to medium it burns mostlyfat. Kcal is just a unit. Energy used is either fats or carbon hydrates and worst case muscle and protein.
@@MrRaitzi But it doesnt matter... Its all about energy balance at the end of day.. You cant burn fat by doing cardio, and eat in caloric suficit, and expect to build muscle and burn fat at the same time... No no. cardio is just a tool for burning extra calories
Right. Dorian is dealing with composition with food and lifting. He's literally just talking heart health with his HIIT.
@@MrRaitzi doesnt matter... If you dont eat in kcal deficit- u wont lose weight
Haha Dorian not the type of dude to back down that was awesome.
Indeed. I remember watching Dave Palumbo asking him about his Holocaust denial. He absolutely wouldn’t budge.
We all know what Milos was getting at when he says “you don’t follow the sport at all”…
Milos was trying to be respectful, without saying “so you still make tons of money off the sport, but you don’t watch it and instead you trash on it?”…
Milos you should have just come out and said it. I love Dorian, but it should have been said.
Exactly well said . I hate when he trashes modern bbing. And he does it every chance he gets. Even on Rogans podcast he did. It's sad what a terrible way to be an embassador and represent your sport that made you rich and famous
@@robchicano1986 bro, bodybuilders are egocentric and selfish to the max. Dorian says that he changed, it's bs. He just changed his toy but the style of playing is the same. There is only one true real Mr Olympia that promotes this sport and his name is King Jay Cutler!
@@aleksandrsolzhenitsyn694 phil and ronnie are good promoters as well imo
100 percent . Milos was pushing him
They should compare Sandows... Oh, wait.
this is just EPIC 😁😂🙏🏻
Milos just can’t take the fact Dorian isn’t a fan of bodybuilding anymore 😂
You gotta love milos😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣
Well Dorian talks negatively about the current guys while trying to make money off the industry with his supplements.........that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. By the way Dorian many of the 70's-80's guys thought YOU were an abomination and ruined bodybuilding seems what goes around comes around.
@@briancavanaugh7604 agreed.
@@briancavanaugh7604 Dorian showed that with hard work it´s possible to outwork people with better genetics to a certain extend. Dorian took bodybuilding to the extreme unlike many others in his era that managed to place well with insane genetics and much less effort. Dorian had thickness and argubly the best conditioning ever. The only mr olympia i would have given to somebody else was 1997, every other mr olympia trophy was well deserved.
Love Miloš and Dorian together. Both styles of training should be involved definitely.
Nah. Dorians methods are wayyy ahead
Dorian’s is better. People just can’t get their head around it and train like Pussys
@@yenes3236 different strokes for different folks. Remember that ronnie coleman beat dorian and he trained completely opposite
@@Supernaturalman92 are we talking about Ronnie or Milos? Lol
@@yenes3236 were talking about training styles. Theres more than one way to skin a cat.
Why is it that with all the social media exposure that current bodybuilders have they don’t have a fraction of the character and personality that the 90’s bodybuilders have. Each one truly unique and when they get together like what we have here…. Boom!
I get the feeling Milos wasn’t done ask Dorian his question ,the Podcast ended too soon 😂😂🤣🤣,gotta love Milos man 😆👍🏾
This podcast is gold!
I think Milos missunderstood Dorian about the cardio. Doria talked about general health for the public. And Milos was very focused on Fat loss.
But I agree with Milos also I enjoy conversation and debates. It's very interesting. I could listen to Dorian all day he's a genius and very humble and only speaks his mind. Big respect.
This! They were saying two different things .
Dorian is not a genius. Einstein was a genius. Just saying. Dorian just repeats what he reads and believes in through trial and error...like most of us.
Far from a genius. All he is doing is regurgitating Arthur Jones training methods. Come tell me when you are in you 70s and tell me how great hiantyienif training is. He retired because of injuries and has done nothing since then.
This was great Dorian is one of the best interviews I watched not only scientific but reality and especially when fires up his spliff. Thanks you guys keep it going !!! SR.
It wasn't a spliff it was a joint.
Milos is bonkers and brilliant. Hes v passionate about pro bodybuilding. Hes become a bodybuilding national treasure
This was awesome! Amazing podcast man thank you guys for taking the time to come on! 💪🏽💪🏽
Cormier just cracking up. 🤣
Today's ig live was hilarious 😂
The first guest asking why there’s no Indian Bodybuilders in the Mr Olympia 😂😂
Beautiful conversation. So civil, so beautiful. I'm so glad all these guys are still with us! I trained during their era, it was my era, too. And I used slightly lower dosages than even they used, because of course I competed less and not at the Olympia level. Well, maybe that's why we're all still here. Love you guys🙋🙏
What an awesome interview - I watched it from beginning to end! I was just beginning my interest in Bodybuilding and Resistance Training back in the 90's, so much of what was discussed really resonated with me... I still find Dorian's mentality to be similar to mine - I loved reading about Arthur Jones, Mentzer and the old Iron Man Magazine from Peary Rader. Thank you so much for sharing!
Best group so far. I spent so much time laughing, I missed it, had to re watch. Fantastic. Please bring Dorian back in like 6 months, let them go at it again.
Why 6 months dude 😭 he should be a constant part of that podcast
@@yenes3236 if its too often its not fun anymore.
I agree.
Absolutely LOVED this session!!
Great podcast fellas. The knowledge these guys carry around is second to none
I hope Dorian comes on again. Nothing but ❤❤❤for one of the GOATS 😎💪🏼💪🏼👌🏼💯
Great show. DY & Milos what an interesting dynamic. The OCD Milos & the disinterested 6x Mr Olympia. Not to be expected but made for an interesting show.
Dorian is a true legend, but it seemed a bit disingenuous that he still lives off his legacy and wants to sell the supplements but shits on bodybuilding at the same time. I think that was Milos’ feeling here. Bodybuilding gave him everything, there is no need to be condescending.
Basketball players do the same lol
Dead on. I love Dorian, but we all knew what Milos was getting at here without being disrespectful…
Well said ! I hate when he does that
No I think you misunderstood what he said. He still loves bodybuilding but don't enjoy watching it anymore because it's not good enough anymore, the standard is not what it was.
@@mikaelirvemo3986 Dorian is the only person together with Ronnie that would win the mr olympia nowadays. 2020 version of Ramy would argubly give Dorian a run for his money aswell. The era nowadays is much closer to Dorian physique than most of the 90s guys were. Extremly well conditioned, massive and not really aesthetic. Hadi would probably place second most of the time if he competed in the 90s.
Milos cannot comprehend how Dorian reached the pinnacle with his training methods..
This was the best! Do it again with Dorian! He’s awesome!
"yes, but u are asking with a smile on your face". Shit, Dorian is the man....
Fantastic podcast, thank you.
That was brilliant 🤩 I smiled a laughed all way through that 👍🏻
Omg! I was crying. Great show guys 👍
The issue I see is Dorian works now with general people where Milos does not. If you go into a LA Fitness where you see guys and gals doing numerous sets and reps but never changing their physiques. The person coming in doing 30 minutes 3X a week looks just as good as the others. I see it all the time for years. Milos mindset is the competitive bodybuilder, elite athlete.
Definitely not an athlete, more like drug abuser
A pure bodybuilding treat
chris cormier laughing his ass off at dorian humbling milos is priceless
He dident humble him wtf you talking about.. he is spewing bs about 1min cardio is enough.. 😂
@@bojanpetrovic6635 you missed the point ... dorian was talking about cardio respiratory health .. and milos was focused on fat loss ... rewatch again
DJ, please bring Dorian back. Milos was asking him good questions and DC and your stories of the past with Dorian are great. Part 2 pleaseee❤
Very good, people, very good podcast. It was a pleasure!
Milos is the fuckin man
Love the air bike I did it training for the agility test for the Minneapolis fire department. In 1988 I got great results. Short interval training is a super way for good results. Good content guys!
Same here
How badass is it having these guys together like this? Amazing we get to see this stuff thanks DJ.
This podcast was awesome!!! Love the show.
This is gold.. Thought provoking.
Need this group way more often!!!
Seeing Dorian guest posing in 1994 at 300 was scary !!!
And Victor Richards dwarfed him and Lou Ferrigno that day.
Milos has balls 😂
Keeping it real for true, love this show great panel great guests these are the guys I grew up looking at in the magazines idolising to here u guys talk is unreal like them old magazines have come to life 💪🏻✌🏻DY is 👑 in 🏴
Best episode by far and big up Milos for asking the questions that us BB fans would want to ask DY
Awesome show

Dorian is an extremely intelligent man! He's read about numerous topics and he has a critical mindset! He's always a great interview!
Really good podcast hope many people will listen
Best podcast ever: always love listening to Dorian
Dorian and Milos are always worth listening to. Two of the great minds in bodybuilding.
💯 love Dorian, he had a iron will and his mentality was unparalleled in that golden era of bodybuilding in the 90s.
Bronze era. 60s to 70s gold, 80s silver, 90s bronze
On the 6 minutes intense vs 45 minutes steady state, purely from a calorie deficit standpoint, if someone needs more calorie expenditure from cardio, 45 minutes will definitely triumph... this is math. BUT from the heart benefits, that 6 minutes crazy hard intervals, will bring many of these
Well said!
The crew here and Milos aren't picking up on this.
100 percent correct steady state is done to burn calories. I did mine at 9 pm to burn off any carbs and glycogen stored, that way I was burning fat as I slept. Some people do it in the morning same concept you just don't get the fat burning effects as long. High intensity interval is good for cardiovascular health
I don't understand why DJ gets so nervous an uncomfortable with Milos's questions. He's constantly avoiding a real discusion. And then Cormier keeps on laughing at Milos for asking questions and trying to have a serious and fun conversation about bodybuilding. It's really anoying. Milos, you are a real legend and one of the most fun and knowledgable guys in the sport right now
Favorite pod-cast ever!!
I gotta like it Dorian speaks and everybody shuts up
LOVE THIS WITH ALL OUT LEGENDS!!!!
Have a great podcast.. Dorian is a cool guy. I got to hang out with him a little bit at one of the Olympias that was at Mandalay Bay. He came to my bar when I was bartending one night.
Funny how time works. I grew up in the 90s watching these guys compete in their early 30s and today im in my early 30s building my body and these guys are retired. Dennis is still looking huge tho.
Really great and meaningful stuff. The way Dorian has changed by evolving towards to new visions (saving some landmarks in the science and maintaining the worth of heavy duty which remains by itself we do say) makes him a real huge witness of a different greatness: he deserves today the way deserved in his moments, being Mr.O but being, at the same time, a new more meaningful concept of a Mr.O. as maximum goal in the BB with all the gifts and freedoms it may brings. ( p.s. His freedom is like a mirror and gives much more sense to all his path and process.. And I love it. ) Blessing Dorian: the Shadow is in a new great light🌟 Blessings everybody and Thank you Dennis for sharing all this.
Great Podcast!!!!!
Great show D.j
Great podcast💯👊
Fantastic conversation
The most interesting bodybuilder of all times - Dorian Yates! 🙏
@Spilly McGee. Exactly! He won 3 of 6 and that is a truth!
@@vestinaborbe shut up, he won six
@Spilly McGee. it’s based on the judging scores of mandatory poses. He won the most out of the others so wins the competition.
@Spilly McGee. That torn bicep was only visible in 1 pose out of 11 total compulsory poses lol never affected him in the symmetry round, and 6 out of 7 total mandatory poses. Baring in mind there are 4 rounds to judge, not just 7 poses...! Muscularity round was only 25% of the total scoring back then. Dorian routinely won the symmetry round, posing round and the posedown!
@Spilly McGee. Shape doesn't mean a thing when it comes to judging criteria lol if it did then flex would have defeated him in 93. The 3 main objective criteria is symmetry muscularity and conditioning. 2 of those dorian had in spades. You telling me flex was superior the rear relaxed than yates? Or even both side relaxed shots. He had too much depth, thickness and conditioning was miles ahead. I've seen flex in person and he was incredible, but dorian was on a other level! Flex had great conditioning in 93 and dorian still made him look soft! As samir bannout said, dorian was that good, he was 1st 2nd and 3rd!
As for Ray, fantastic physique, nicely balanced, but when you have someone who has 50lbs on you with superior muscularity and conditioning, that's hard to beat.
The 7- minute abs bit was in the movie “Something about Marry” the hithiker that Ben Stiller picked up. Explaining his get rich plan, turns out the hitch hiker was a serial killer !
Love Milos’s passion!
He really loves this sport, every bodybuilder is dreaming to have a couch like Milos...
keep em comming;)
The shadow stays in shadow even in this podcast .
Hands down BEST PODCAST EVER! This is 4 of the greatest, most intelligent and my favorite bodybuilders ever! These are 4 real "MEN" who tell it like it is regardless of what anyone else thinks or what others want us to believe. God Bless for staying real and true to yourselves!
Best pod cast ever so much knowledge
Dorian is a very cool dude 😎 love his energy and the fact he dgaf about what anyone thinks an open book so real
Dorian's version of science. Only pay attention to the science that supports his theory's. Ignore all other counteracting theory's
Funny that he brought up the science when he clearly knows fuck all the science has pra tically dismantled his bs if he still wants to force those ideas he really shouldn't be referring to the science.
exactly like all the other HIT people they think there way is the only way
Of course he is going to pay attention to the science that supports his practical application, considering that was/is his training protocol for the gains he made as a professional bodybuilder🙄
He isn’t nor has he said the other protocols do not work. He simply stated that his protocol gives optimal results for intensity and growth/recovery. Chris Cormier supported this with his 2 weeks of training with those protocols on this very episode.
Same thing with the interval training training for cardio. 1 minute broken up into 3, 20 seconds intervals high intensity bursts. Been used for years by explosive athletes.
There is always more than one way to skin a cat!!!
everyone is biased to themselves and their own, same goes for Yates, same goes for Milos.
Add some pride and ego and you've got yourself a debate/confrontation.
At the end of the day one needs to evaluate and break it down.
Love that podcast so much...all of them. Dennis could you tell me what you drinking? It look yummy....secret recipe maybe?:)
Chris is very friendly and a nice guy
Milos feels like a kid in a candy store with Dorian
These podcasts are great and seem to be more frequent.
Would be 1000x better if everyone had the proper microphone and earphones so the listeners experience was optimal.
Very fun podcast great to see the laughs
The difference between Dorian and Milo’s perspective is that Dorian is talking about the average person including the elderly and how intense intervals has the same effect on VO2 max whilst Milos is thinking about elite bodybuilders losing bodyfat.
Would you get an elderly person to do HIIT cardio? Dorian needs to think a little more broadly in my opinion.
Well said. Yea. I like. Dorrian Is. Into helping the everyday man. Not just those who want to get on stage. Unlike. John meadows. He. Only gave a fuck about those. Who were. Goin on stage. Yea. He trained a few kids. But I so bitter over him breaking into my home and putting rat poison in my protein powder. With kid abusers. Who were gang members and they also put up hidden cameras in my home. And sexual abuse my therapist dog. Which I had as. A. Sexual abuse kid. Myself in foster homes. Yea. Yea never hear. Of that.
