We asked Stef Baxter who is a Glasgow based potter to make us an upgraded version of his previous lathering bowls but this time with an angled thumb and forefinger grip to make the lathering bowl easier to hold.
The angled thumb/forefinger grip can be used in multiple ways depending on what is most comfortable for the user. (Refer to the last image).
You will get a rich lather effortlessly as we asked Stef to make the bottom of the bowls ridged internally so the user can generate a shaving lather easily. The ridges deliver traction between a shaving brush and shaving cream; no other bowl will generate a rich lather as quickly and efficiently as this bowl.
These bowls are only available from Executive Shaving. Each bowl is unique, expect variations in finish, size and colour. The bowls are predominantly blue coloured, lots of blue and black with splashes of light blue and green. There is no particular pattern. No matter which bowl you get it will be different from any other. These bowls are stamped 'made in Scotland' on the base.
Suitable for all sizes of shaving brushes.

The video was filmed 2016, in 2017 I went to Scicily for my 60th birthday and came back at 14.2 lb, way too heavy, so I trimmed down to a healthy 12.2 lb. I'm fit and well thanks.

The inner texturing is similar to the bowl-in-a-bowl scuttle produced by Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements. That makes the lathering much better, though there's no warm water underneath to keep the lather warm. Still, this bowl is quite nice.
This is a simple, fuss-free shaving bowl at a fair price for what it is.

I used to use a rather cheap bowl with no ridges. Iâve since switched to face lathering. Is there any reason I should retry this?
Face lathering can cause bacteria and irritation as well as contamination onto the soap for your next shave. Using a ridged bowl will also help you to create a better lather, quicker.

Hello Mr.Brian
I am a 20 year old boy and I started shaving with a safety razor about 6 months ago.
Quite recently, I started to fancy a baby like face and I started shaving across the grain and against the grain.
But I develop razor burns and bumps.
I use the gillette 7 oâclock safety razor and their super platinum blades.
Here are my following questions:
1) Should I shave daily to avoid razor burns?
2 ) Should I always do 3 passes differently if i want a close shave?
3) Should I be patient and wait my shaving skills to improve but keep shaving?
4) How do I restrain razor burns and bumps?

Hi Sameer, Until your skin recovers avoid shaving against the grain, only ever use a sharp blade, moisturise after shaving, only ever shave on top of a rich, protective lather and only do two passes weekdays.

You can travel with it but if you drop it on a hard surface the likelihood is it will break
