Man, I just love everything Gretsch, they're just, gorgeous, amazingly crafted, unique sounding pieces of art. I've played guitar for 21 years, and have never played a Gretsch in my life.. I will own one before I die, either the Jim Heath model here, or, if I'm really caution (and finances hah!) to the wind, Chris Cheney's Signature Falcon. Absolutely gorgeous guitars! Thanks for posting brotha!
And that is the guitar I am saving up for.👍
It is a 1959 configuration with a 1955 western look and nickel hardware. The best 6120.
Fantastic sound from the late 50's and great quality... Wow
smoothe. i remember you selling me my danelectro. i got it modded with some vintage locking tuners and then later you helped me screw down the pickguard with the proper colar scerw ... classy. awesome experience. peace.
Chet's Gretsch had the DeArmond pickups originally , he claimed the magnets were to strong and took most of the tone
What a freakin great combination
Good one Rev!
Bobby Fleet and his band with a beat are coming to your store. A very nice 50s sound with this combo.
sweet its the 6120 custom bascally dig that amp tho
That’ll do country and western
This or the Eddie Cochran one?
What’s the neck feel like to play?
Has the bridge been changed on that guitar? The original would have been an adjusto-matic.
Jup, never came with a bar bridge.
@@gretschguild I think this guitar was designed to the "Heat's" specs ...
@@Tonetwisters I got one so I know. The rev him self, plays with the "standard" tuneomatic type bride for this guitar.
@@gretschguild who'd win in a fight... The Rev?... or God?
@@patmccrotch5373 on the guitar? Is there a difference? Jim Heat is guitar god.
It's actually similar to the one chet Atkins had in 1955 until he convinced gretsch to get rid of all the cool details
Jup, but then with filtertrons.
Vibrato, not tremolo.
