"Scars on the back are a swordsman's shame" takes a different meaning when it's Shiryu you're fighting, doesn't it? When Zoro said that the first time, he was speaking of his own shame at losing to Mihawk. But if (when) he fights Shiryu, it's gonna be Shiryu's shame at never being able to face his opponents head on, and relying on cheap tricks and ambush to fight.

the whole 'swordsman shame' thing has never made sense to me tbh. what about sneak attacks, random hits when your caught off guard etc. having wounds in your back only meaning cause you ran away, has never made a single bit of sense. but it sounded badass, so everyone kinda ran with it lol

You have now justified Shiryu’s existence to me. Having Zoro struggle with him and then need to develop better observation Haki in order to overcome that fight because, “If I can’t beat you there’s no chance in hell I’ll beat Mihawk,” would be fantastic development for him. Especially if Mihawk is right there and pushes him to his very limits later on the same day during the war at Laugh Tale.
Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if Shiryu or Nusjoro’s fight is where Zoro finally develops future sight, as the 2nd in command of the pirate king it’s only fair he has it
Yeah Shiryu was always weird, as BB Pirates seemed like they could be final bosses but Shiryu would be such a step down after Mihawk

I believe that all the yonko are going to end up on the final island gunning for the one piece and that’s where Zoro will fight Mihawk
I actually think luffy v buggy 2 will happen. It's a very unusual fight and I think the actual in-universe gulf between them in power might actually make for good storytelling.
And, if all else fails, I think Buggy's gonna get lucky at least one more time.

I just hope Luffy and maybe Sanji watch Zoro vs Mihawk. That way Luffy could see Zoro come full circle and Sanji too since watching Zoro chase his dream is one of the first things Sanji did in the series

This is the only answer. No matter what, Zoro can't rematch Mihawk without Luffy and the others watching. They have to witness his victory after seeing his loss.
It's always funny to me how Zoro is a better gauge for future groups that the Strawhats will fight, simply because he always without fail fights swordsmen. As soon as a character pulls out a sword you just know for a fact that they'll fight Zoro, and hence the people near them will fight Luffy and other Strawhats. It's also why I'm still confident that if Luffy and Shanks' crews "fight" each other it will be something unconventional like a Davy Back fight, because aside from Shanks himself they don't actually have a dedicated sword fighter.
Zoro also has to clash with Shanks as well somehow seeing as he was Mihawk's old rival, so it's fitting.
If the Davy Back fight does happen with Shanks on Elbaph, I could see that be a natural tie-in for Cross Guild, as it gives Buggy a chance to compete evenly against Shanks and Luffy, while also being a great place for Zoro vs Mihawk
Now that Luffy and Zoro have their fights on the horizon, would you consider making a similar analysis for Sanji's upcoming fights too? It only makes sense haha

To me it's pretty clear where Mihawk can slot perfectly:
Case A: cross guild goes to Elbaf to get the road Poneglyph or something similar and we end up with a Davy back/3 way battle with the straw hats, red hair pirates and cross guild
Case B: Road to Laugh tale, Cross guild appears as a surprise contender for the One Piece

The thing is, if Zoro fights Mihawk that "early," there would be no strong Subordinate or even opponent in general Left for Zoro aside from Maybe Nasujuro. or S-Hawk which is even less likely
By defeating Mihawk, u basically leave Zoro without a Major fight till the final battle, since no one would be stronger than Mihawk
And if that final fight is Nasujuro (A swordsman), it would make no sense if he struggles against him since narratively he should be weaker than Mihawk
and if he isn't weaker, that just takes away from the 25year long built up Dream of Zoro and Matchup of Zoro vs Mihawk

Also side note I've always felt like Zoros fight with mihawk would either be third or second to last. Simply because in my opinion I think it would be cool for there to be a period of time where he reigns as the strongest Swordsman and goes into other battles as such. Similar to Luffy not being King of the Pirates at the very end of the series but after finding the one piece he becomes king of the Pirates and then as king of the Pirates faces off against the the likes of Imu
I think Luffy, in his final fight against Imu and the world government, will need the Worlds Strongest Swordsman to defeat them. Hence, Zoro will have to defeat Mihawk before that final fight
@@mrkee5803 exactly also I get flack for this but I've said maybe mihawk is only the strongest known Swordsman we've seen Time and time again that a lot of One Piece rumors titles and such are subject to bias or perception. I wouldn't be shocked if the strongest person was actually in mariejoie or space or some shit but they just never revealed themselves. Also I'm curious about how the seraphim when they eventually hit 100% stack up to their original counterparts. I will s hawk actually exceed mihawk
@@OtakuTalkOD, what you said makes no sense. Mihawk can't be "the strongest swoedsman we've seen" because we haven't seen anything from him. He's never once been in a serious fight nor has he used any named attack. Oda is going out of his way to not have Mihawk show what makes him the strongest yet. Almost 3 decades and still nothing should make that obvious. Same goes for characters like Dragon.
S-Hawk will not and cannot surpass Mihawk. I have no idea how people don't see this. S-Hawk will be a hype tool to show that you can't simply replicate skills and experience in a lab. That's far better thematically and adds weight to Zoro's title than S-Hawk simply being stronger just for the sake of it.

and take a breath and calm down. its just speculation also Im not saying s hawk has to surpass miahwk but its very possible. Especially with japanese ideology of surpassing generations and the fact Vegapunk states they are undeniably human. Thematically and narrative wise id like it to be Mihawk too but im open to possibility of alternate narrative avenues.
Would love Zoro and Sanji vs Beckman and Lucky Roo if we get a Davy Back fight. Beckman and Roo have both been so central to Shanks' crew since the beginning that it'd be a shame not to see them both take part, and it'd be a great callback to the original Foxy pirates fight where Zoro and Sanji first had to work together. It seems the last chance in the story to get a duo fight out of them with a reason that gets them to have to work together actively. Plus, if the Davy Back fight will be three rounds like last time with Foxy, that leaves room for a father son sniper battle and a clash of the captains as the final round still.
Maybe a 3-way DBF featuring the Straw Hats, Red Hair Pirates & Cross Guild?
The only problem I have with that is how Zoro & Mihawk have a genuine duel to decide who's the WGS
Roo is also a speedster cook so that duo versus lines up pretty well all around

Something that could solve your timing issue for fighting Mihawk and the issue of not enough match ups in certain factions is the potential to see a battle royale between all four Yonko crews over one piece instead of a battle against just blackbeard. This would also likely set up Luffy to be there when/if Blackbeard kills Shanks.
I like that, and if that's the case than Shanks will also be pushed to laugh tale arc and we might get a Luffy vs Big Mom in Elbaf
I’d be very interested in a video of the remaining characters Sanji will fight. Particularly because he’s the strawhat who doesn’t even crave power to meet his goals. But we know they will escalate from the enemies he’s fought before. Because right now other than Kizaru I can’t really tell who he’d be matched with.
I think zoro and sanji goes 2v1 against kizaru. But after that lucky roo, burgess, crocodile, s flamingo and one of the elders imo.

Any final Zoro fight other than Mihawk would be lame. Nusjuro is never gonna surpass the anticipation and hype of Zoro vs Mihawk and the same goes for everybody else.
Saw people say Mihawk might get tied to Imu so Luffy and Zoro fighting their last opponents during the final war makes sense to me

I personally like the theory that mihawk was part of the red hair pirates and a three way clash will take place. I also like the theory of buggy being stronger than anyone expected
I think everything is pointing at Cross Guilt being a plot device to make Zoro have the most relevant fight in a short arc against them, his final duel with Mihawk will be the highlight and most important event in that particular story and even Luffy will be just watching him just as he did in Baratie.
my issue is that there is no way zoro is beating mihawk who has like double his bounty, in elbaf without a significant power up first.

Crossguild could come in while the Strawhats fight the Blackbeard pirates. If they intercept while Luffy and Blackbeard have their showdown it would come down to Zoro to neutralize the biggest threat which is Mihawk. By winning those fights Luffy and Zoro would also both fulfill their dream together. The only problem with that is this would be right after Zoros fight with Shiryu which means he wouldnt be at full strengh.
Otherwise it would fit perfectly imo so maybe Oda somehow can make it work.

I think Ben Beckman makes sense as being next since it looks like the strawhats will go to Elbaf and Teach feels like a pre-laugh tale opponent, so I agree Shiryu is 2nd. But while Blackbeard and the Strawhats are at it, i think Buggy is going to be trucky and get the One Piece and become Pirate King, so against Buggy I think Luffy will acheive his first/known dream and Zoro will finally acheive his dream (or his first dream since he wants to be the best swordsman and right now he believes that is Mihawk so he has a dream of beating Mihawk (other Strawhats may achieve their dreams or initial stated dreams by this point). Then the battle with the marines and s-hawk makes sense (although we saw the mechanical shark have a will of its own so I cant help but wonder how that may play out with the Seraphim). Then the top of the world government. One fight we have not talked about is the potential for Garling. Now that may be a Shanks fight, but I think we should still look at it as a potential Zoro fight, but if Zoro only fights one Celestial Dragon then I agree the one with a kitetsu makes the most sense. But I feel like there being 9 God's Knights is likely significant in some way (and it is possible one of the Gorseli oversee the God's Knights ... but they may just be opponents for the revolutionary army as well or maybe even Fugitora could fight Figurland).
I'm gonna say something crazy, but I can also see Sabo fighting Akainu. They both likely have conflicting ideals about justice, Akainu also took Sabo's brother, in Marinefold is was basically shown that magma trumps fire in a fight so it could be thematic if Sabo inhereted Ace's will with the devil fruit and overcomes that obsticle/counters that showing it is the person that makes the fruit powerful and not simply the fruit making the person powerful, and I don't think Luffy is the type to hold a geudge .... also assuming another strawhat beats Aokiji when they face the Balckbeard pirates, Akainu may not feel as threatening to Luffy after that so such a fight may lack tension which is not necessarily a bad think as the fight can still be very cathartic but the tension may not live up to the tension of the Strawhats vs the marines and world government (although who knows, maybe Luffy beats Akainu and changes his outlook on Justice and we then see the marines turn on the Celestial Dragons since Akainu does not seem to like them so much and that is when the Seraphim come into play).
I think there is still a lot of mystery left in One Piece.

The closer we get to the ending the more sure I am Buggy will actually be competing for the one piece on Laugh Tale. It would essentially be a 3 way fight so why couldn't it be the same for their vice captains. For damn near a decade theories have been made Shiryu will kill Mihawk. A 3 way battle with the swordsman would showcase Zoro being able to defeat mihawk and Shiryu. My headcanon is that Zoro would defeat Shiryu in the fight before mihawk does and then they go on to do a 1v1
Edit: Also gotta say I firmly believe that theory that Buggy awakening may be able to create nuclear bombs😅. If so then he definitely would be in contention for that pirate king duel. A god vs A Earthquake/Darkness man vs a walking Nuke 😮

Great video as always. My personal preference for the Mihawk fight is that he joins the RH pirates in Elbaf and fights Zoro there. You might ask what happens to Benn Beckman then, but to me it makes sense that he fights Sanji in some sort of a gag fight, remember Oda said he is very popular with women so it would be fun to see Sanji trying to kill him for that reason 😂. This may sound lame or whatever, but I think that Elbaf’s fights (other than Luffy, Zoro and Ussopp) will be unserious, as that is a key characteristic of the Davy Back Fight.
The delusion of Zoro fans of him being the final battle never fail to amuse me.

I think we have an order something like this:
Elbaf: Beckman (honestly this one doesnt really even feel like a MUST HAPPEN but would be cool)
Fight for the One Piece: Mihawk, seems early but i think this makes the most sense as its the most logical place, where the all Yonko and their crew would be clashing for the finish line
Fight for the One Piece pt2: Shiryu, seems like a big step down, but i think this will be Shiryu trying to come in once Zoro has won and yoink the Title from a now heavily damaged Zoro. Zoro fighting while half dead is a common theme for him, Shiryu fighting dirty is in line with his character, and honestly a Zoro vs Shiryu fight where both start at 100% seems way too easy for Zoro unless we get some big feats for Shiryu to convince us otherwise.
WG saga: S-Hawk, i put him here because 1. I think just narratively it makes more sense for the WG arc to come after the one piece and 2. this gives time for S-Hawk to grow up, meaning at this point he's essentially Mihawk on New Game+, and would be a nice culmination of all Zoro's previous fights. A seraphim fight here also does not delegitimize Mihawk's title as greatest as they're so new to the world
Final Battle: Venus, even though Mihawk has the title of world's greatest, I think the secret nature of the Gorosei means he could have been the best the whole time, plus whatever bonkers fruit he has. Slaying what is probably going to be the arch-devil of all swordsman will give Zoro his final spot as a modern-day Sword God like Ryuma
With Zoro vs Venus, given the gorosei’s apparent longevity, it’s even possible Venus fought Ryuma in the past, which would give more meaning to the fight with Zoro.
Mihawk has ties to either Imu or the holy knights. His eyes, the engraved patterns on Yoru and his line when he went up against zoro „I’m not a Beast that hunts rabbits with a canon“, which could relate to the hunting games played on god valley. Even his style and manner seem to be fancy and eloquent. Mihawk has the very same eyes as imu btw. It’s am adaptation fault. His eyes I’m the manga are supposed to be red not yellow. So him having ties with the wg is quite possible. Maybe he once was a holy knight. Maybe that’s where he got to fight shanks. Maybe garling trained him. It always was strange to me how Mihawk sails alone with no crew all the time. He has to have been somewhere else before in a crew or most likely some sort of organisation. It doesn’t make any sense for him to have been alone his whole journey. What I mean is that he ist what ? 44 years old ? The Mihawk we see today is the retired Mihawk almost.

I feel like one of the bigger themes of one piece is life being about the journey over the destination. I could see the epilogue compiling the strawhats pursuing their dreams without definitive confirmation that they'll achieve them (even luffy, he can be pirate king and bring the new dawn, but we still dont know what his actual dream is and whether it has a definitive endpoint at the end of the series)
so the idea of in the epilogue, confirmation that zoro and mihawk have had several duels to a draw and signaling the start of another before fading out isn't the most farfetched idea
It is hard to imagine Shiryu would present a bigger challenge than King for Zoro
It's not really a thing that happens often in this series, but I would love to see Zoro and Mihawk fight Venus together. Mihawk's interactions with Zoro and because of Zoro have made him slightly more human as the story has progressed, so him joining with Zoro for a cause other than being the world's greatest swordsman would be pretty cool. Other than that I think all the emperors end up at Laugh Tale and Zoro and Mihawk fight there. Also I've watched a few theories about the Final Saga and people keep leaving out the God Knights. They have to go somewhere.

I think one you missed as a potential is Garland Figarland. He’s introduced as a super powerful swordsman, and I think he makes more sense than S-Hawk or Saturn; as he’s more likely a pure swordsman

Mihawk could be during final war in like a marineford situation where pirates also fought other pirates, but Zoropiece can 100% be real
Can't forget, on top of the gigantification and everything else, all of the Seraphim are also just straight up cyborgs with laser beams, too.
Another person to consider a part of the story progression is the man marked by flames.. he seems to be the one all the yonko are gonna go after since he has the last poneglyph, and its likely gonna take place at lodestar island. As to who he is.. I'd wager it's Rocks D Xebec, and with him is Shiki another strong swordsman.
Are you sure Shanks will be at Elbaf? It seemed pretty clear that his crew was heading out right when Kid showed up. He'll already be gone when we get there.

@@ericgonzalez4738 not sure honestly - I believe every major figure of CG will also be present in the final war. Whether or not they're still "cross guilds" at that time is up in the air, but I would assume so.
I can see CG continuing, even if, say, Mihawk leaves, as a new entity for the new world.
My assumption is that Koby gets major credit, even if most should go to Luffy (I think alluded/foreshadowed by the Wano arc of Luffy not wanting recognition).
I believe Vivi will be the new face of the new era uniting countries, but not under "one rule" - but rather collective aid - more like a United Nations.
Pirates will continue to exist, which means the Marines will still exist. If Marines still exist, I think CG still has a place.

The only thing that makes any sense is to me is that Elbaf features ALL of the Yonko battling it out in a giant war, rather than separate arcs. This would also be the perfect place for cross guild to show up in the final saga and for a Mihawk vs Zoro duel to happen.
My guess: Zoro will fight Mihawk at Laugh Tale while BB fights Luffy. There will be a free-for-all similar to God Valley

I think zoro vs mihawk is kinda like sasuke vs itachi, by far sasukes most hyped fight but not his final fight. Doesn’t make it bad at all imo
Part of me feels like Mihawk will be fought after the war. I know, it makes no sense. But after all the dust settles it feels right to have Zoro attempt to capture his dream. Highly unlikely, I know, but it's a nice thought.

It's crazy that Zoro hasn't fought anyone that aspieres to be the World's greatest swordsman. A lot of Luffy's enemies wanted to be pirate king in comparison
To me, that's a thing that Oda could have done differently for better without changing pretty much nothing in the story.
The only TRULY swordsman that Zoro has fought is a corpse of Ryuma... that was nothing compared to the real Ryuma.
Oda could have easily changed some characters that Zoro fought and made them real swordsmen. It would have changed nothing but made better milestones for Zoro.
It would have been great if, for example, King was a real swordsman who had clashed with Mihawk at least a little bit. Agree. Another small thing Oda could have done more of throughout the series is showcasing the special grade swords but maybe he's saving those for characters in the final arc

There's always the chance that mihawk himself takes out S Hawk as a hype tool for him. But yeah, it makes a lot more sense that it'll be zoro since S Hawk is a combo of his previous opponents (as you mentioned)

Robin can get back at Crocodile. She could easily defeat him using Luffy’s water trick or would be awesome for her to unlock armament.

No Shiliew would be horrible for Sanji, the blackbeard pirates needs te exploit mugiwara's weaknesses, Zoro is pridefull and has a basic observation haki, so a dude like Shiliew who's a coward and invisible would be perfect. Sanji would need a cold blooded dude who hit hard or can imapct his emotions in some way, like Kuzan or Laffitte...
Hidden Island's Shanks/Mihawk theory would slot Zero's fight with Mohawk during Elbaf after Buggy hypothetically loses Mihawk to Shanks in a Davy Back fight.
Why is Zoro fighting Mihawk after the final war a crazy concept? They don’t hate each other, it’s definitely conceivable for them to set up a fight to settle things. It makes more sense for Mihawk to be an ally during the final which will be AFTER Laughetale.
Also, Luffy vs Coby will be the final fight in One Piece.
I think another potential fight, could be one of the holy knights. There could be a swordsman in one of those silhouette’s or it could even be Saint Figurland Garling as well?

I wonder where the god knights fit into all this. It’s still too early, but I find it hard to believe that Garling would fight anyone other than Zoro. Maybe Shanks, but that feels extremely speculative.
My guess/bet/hope: During the final war, while Zoro is fighting S-Hawk, Mihawk is actually fighting Nusjuro. The fights are shown in parallel, with S-Hawk using the same moves as Mihawk but better. It concludes in Zoro winning and sparing S-Hawk, but Nusjuro kills Mihawk, and mocks him. Saying that the only reason a lowly human was allowed the title of strongest swordsman is because he, Nusjuro, is not a man, but a God. Then Zoro has to fight Nusjuro and avenge his former rival/master/secret idol. The reason the fights are paralleled is to show that Zoro was already stronger than Mihawk and now has to reclaim the title of strongest from Nusjuro.

I think Laugh Tale will involve a 3 way fight between the Straw Hats, Blackbeard pirates, and Cross Guild. Mihawk and Zoro have their duel. The way Zoro ends up fighting Shiryu is because he sneak attacks Mihawk during his duel with Zoro stating if he (Shiryu) beats Mihawk and Zoro then he'd be the greatest swordsman.
Also, since you've done one of these for Luffy and Zoro, I hope that means you're going to do one for Sanji also.

I unfortunately feel like Mihawk will be a flash in the epilogue and oda will use S-Hawk as the proxy fight for mihawk. You get some panels of their clash later and mihawk is like "oh you think a clone is as good as the real thing" or something like that and we just get told they fought for days or something

My theory for the elbaf arc is that not only will the straw hats show up, but buggy being an opportunist and oweing crocodile money, will show up as well and use his influence to broadcast and promote a 3 way davy back fight between the red hairs, strawhats, and cross guild in which at some point the red hair pirates will beat cross guild in an event and take mihawk as their crew pick as the obvious choice. Then that could lead to a sword duel event as part of the davy back fight and to prove the strongest swordsman witch potentially a poneglyph on the line instead of a crewmate. That way zoro would fight mihawks i stead of beckman
Although I’d love for Mihawk to be Zoros last fight I do think it would be interesting for Zoro to go into the final war as the world’s greatest swordsman already and going into battle against S Hawk after and even coming on top in that fight would solidify him and the worlds greatest swordsman. Either way would be fine imo just as long as Zoro vs Mihawk is a huge fight and not a few panel long fight I’d be happy.
I think the war on laugh tale will be a battle royale between all 4 emperors. Maybe down the line buggy and shanks will ally against black beard. And probably in the end it would reduce to straw hats vs black beards
Just a note in the impel down arc shiryu was stated to be equal to or even perhaps stronger than Warden Magellion.. it’s clear Shiryu is stronger now after having a new devil fruit and training time
I'd love for at laughtale have a moment like whiskey peak when Luffy and Zoro fought in the anime, but instead of number 4 and miss valentine getting smashed, it's Shiryu trying a sneak attack in the middle of Mihawk and Zoros duel getting sent flying. Shiryu is nothing😂

I imagine the Laugh Tale arc to be a battle royale between the Straw Hats, Cross Guild, Red Hair and Blackbeard pirates (Red Hair may have a truce or a confrontation before but that doesn't matter). I imagine that Crocodile and Mihawk would be fought by Sanji and Zoro while Blackbeard is fought by Luffy sounds like a chaotic finale to the discovery of the treasure before the true final battle begins.

I think it's not entirely impossible for Mihawk to side with the Celestial Dragons in the final war. I mean we really don't know anything about him, he could absolutely have a connection to Imu or the world nobles, plus I could see him being petty enough to side with them JUST to fight Zoro because that fight probably matters more to Mihawk than the outcome of the world. He and Imu are among the few characters to have a ring in the eye as well. "Why would they make a Seraphim of Mihawk is he's on their side?" We saw first hand that he will only do the bare minimum if it doesn't sway him, he could have went right at Whitebeard and did some serious damage but he just kind of cooled it and left the minute Shanks was involved. So why wouldn't they want a clone of Mihawk but is perfectly obediant and has lunarian blood, a devil fruit and more? If you put Mihawk ahead of the Seraphim that just seems kind of crazy because it means all of Mihawk's ability and experience was cloned just like that and improved upon for the Seraphim to pose a challenge after Mihawk.
I think Zoro vs Mihawk happening as something like one volume a year after finishing One Piece could be something really cool, as Oda will certainly be doing some extra stories like other mangaka do. But still
I really agree with Morj here so I would say it will be like this:
1. Zoro vs Beckmann on Elbaf in a Davey Back fight against the RH pirates (Zoro enters the top-tier) - Elbaf arc
2. Zoro vs Shyruu in the battle against the Blackbeard pirates (he develops his Observation Haki to a new level to prepare for Mihawk) - Laughtale arc
3. Zoro takes on Mihawk as the Crossguild will now participate in the race for the One Piece. Their fight is broadcasted to the world as the Marines/WG will definitely be chasing after the Yonko crews into the final stretch of the Grand Line so they don't get to Laughtale. Zoro has to become the WSS before Luffy becomes the Pirate King. It will be a Yonko crew free for all, so I think Zoro can fight Mihawk, while Luffy is fighting Blackbeard. - Laughtale arc
4. Zoro takes down S-Hawk(child version or if they've grown at that point. S-Hawk will just be an obstacle. No real narrative reason other than he is a Mihawk clone Seraphim) - Final War
5. Gorosei Nosjuro - The only Gorosei that wields a sword and the Shodai Kitetsu at that (perhaps Zoro gets it after he beats him? And completes his collection of swords: Wado Ichimonji, Enma, Shodai Kitetsu. Although he is probably going to turn his blades black against Mihawk, so I don't know about him getting a new sword post-Mihawk.)
I disagree with the notion that Mihawk needs to be Zoro's final fight since he will be stronger than Gorosei Nosjuro or S-Hawk. Zoro can still fight them after he beats Mihawk and claims the title of WSS. He would just beat them while defending his title.
Final battle is Straw Hats vs Red Hair Pirates+Mihawk for the One Piece.
For everyone talking about the marine vice admirals and gods knights. The vice admirals will be defeated by the grand fleet and the god's knights will fight either some of the straw hats or some of their stronger allies like Yamato, the scabbards, maybe Katakuri, maybe shanks and mihawk, and the armies from all the countries the straw hats saved and the rando pirates from the grand fleet can fight some of the god's knights even if they are fodder they can at least damage the gods knights enough for the grand fleet captains or straw hats to finish them off.
I feel like if and when V.Nusjuro and Zoro fight it'll be Nusjuro realizing how much fun it is to be a swordsman again as the climax of the fight has them with no powers,no haki,just skill to see who is the most worthy to own a Kitetsu blade.

I do wonder if Buggy and Cross Guild will be involved in the Davy Beck match and thats where all the 2nd in command fights happen. Zoro v Shiryu v Mihawk v Ben Beckmann, ending with just a 1 on 1 duel between Zoro and Mihawk to decide it. A free-for-all between all the current emperors could be insane. Its a stretch for sure but not out of the realm of possiblity imo
i think mihawk is just gonna show up at in one of the upcoming arcs randomly. this would parallel him showing up in baratie as a side tangent. maybe mihawk gets poisoned or something and seeks out zoro to finish things before it takes effect and he becomes weakened. that would give him motivation to do the fight. otherwise, yea, it would just be "hey final war's coming up, let's knock this out real quick" or "final war just ended, let's decide this."
I’ve actually got a feeling that we’re not going to Elbaf next. I think there’s a possibility we’re going to fullalead island next. Oda said he doesn’t think he will be able to stop Luffy from going to the next place, and that this person and that person will finally battle. I believe that could be a reference to Zoro and Mihawk, black beard could be trying to cash in on Garps bounty. Leading cross guild to go to the island and that would allow us to get cross guild and the black beard pirates out of the way, and also allow us to see Luffy team up with Koby mirroring Garp and Roger.

I like the idea of Zoro beating Mihawk and becoming the Worlds Greatest Swordsman a little earlier then we might expect. And after that we'll see all the other candidates who also wanted to take Mihawks title (Shiryu, Fujitora etc) take a shot against Zoro, the newly found WGS.
In your old Elbaf video, you believed Mihawk would be fought on Elbaf. I think thats still viable. Cross Guild still barely meets the vibe of friendly rivalries since Luffy allied with Buggy and Crocodile during Marineford. So they would still fit the themes of Elbaf. Right now they're gunning for the one piece. That means theyre going for the poneglyphs, so theyll get to Elbaf for Shanks and Luffy or theyre gonna head for Blackbeard. Cross Guild will be a wild card, but for Elbaf matchups specifically. If Kidd and Law get continued storylines and fights, I'd imagine it would fit also in Elbaf, where all of Luffys non villainous rivals gather to duke it out each for their own agendas. The red hair matchups may be in disarray if you put mihawk in elbaf, but if you add crocodile, kid, and law, this disarray could make sense
Cross guild fully intends to go for the one piece. I think Laughtale would be a great place for the remaining Yonko crews to meet in a 3-way battle.

Buggy actually could be a real opponent for Luffy just give him awakening like Oda did for Lucci and had them rematch. Except both Buggy and Luffy’s powers are extremely goofy so there would probably be some hilarious back and forth opposed to any real powerscaling
