How to install H&R Lowering springs on your focus st ("Easy")

Just decided to go with some lowering springs for the focus st. I wanted to show everyone that you can do it in your garage and ball on a budget. These were 300 bucks and they ride amazingly. Not bouncy not stiff just right. And I think they are for anyone that was performance and lowness

I put on H&R springs on my focus today, took me and my buddy 3 hours. Your scissor jack trick came in handy. But we had no trouble at all.

This is actually a pretty good tutorial. I loved the tip with the scissor jack. It was a life saver. However I stripped the hell out the sway bar bolt and had to use a vise grips. Additionally make sure your alignment on the strut assembly is correct.

When I look at my stock focus, I think to myself that if it sinks 1.4 more inches, that the body will rub the tires, does every stock ford focus have room to drop that much? Have you noticed more contact when driving over noticeable pot holes?

Nah it’s 1.2 inch drop all around it says it on h&r’s website

Depends on the vehicle. It dropped mine 1.6"
