Love to learn more of this doll thanks for your video!
You are so welcome! These are such unusual dolls and quite rare. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful documentary, loved learning the history of this doll. Thanks for sharing 💜
Thanks very much Allison! I love Muñecas, Poupées, and Dolls. You are a star of the internet, so this means a lot coming from you!
Ugh i want one she absolutely fabulous and sassy!
Thanks very much - I share your enthusiasm!
What is the music for the credits?
Hi Zaki, Thanks for watching my video! The credits music is 'Italian Gypsy Style' by simonleng from Audio Jungle.
@@BoldDoll thank you! Never knew Kiraz existed until now! They remind me of Catrine Demew from Monster High, she also has cartoonized proportion and she happens to be a parisian as well, or more correctly scarisian *MH version for the term parisian 😍
How interesting - Catrine Demew was not on my radar but she is now!
@@BoldDoll yes! The character is also very french as she is a painter/artist! The name is also a spin off to Catherine Deneuve 😍. She's very gorgeous and chic
Absolutely! It seems that no manufacturer has ever committed to an actual Catherine Deneuve doll. I don't understand why, unless it's impossible to get copyright clearance from Mlle Deneuve. Or it might be that she is so impossibly beautiful that on-one has been brave enough to take on this project. Mlle Demew might be the closest we get!
From where can I buy a reproduction Kiraz doll?
Hi, Thanks for getting in touch. For a brief time the affordable MAMZELLE DE PARIS reproduction Kiraz dolls were made by Michael Ben. These are wonderful copies of the originals, you can really only tell the difference because the vinyl is newer (and has a vanilla fragrance!), as well as by the application of the eyeliner. Sadly nowadays Michael’s dolls are only available on the secondary market (eg eBay and Etsy). Although not as expensive as the original dolls, they are still up there. Good luck with your search - I’m sure with patience you’ll find the right doll!
@@BoldDoll Thank you very much gorgeous for the quick response! Do you know why perhaps he stopped producing the reproduction dolls?
My pleasure! No idea why Michael Ben stopped making these dolls. It was perhaps due to production costs, or possibly he wanted to move on to another project.
@@BoldDoll Do you know if there is any way to contact him? I would love to interview him if possible but I can't seem to find a way
Sorry, I have no idea where Michael Ben is now - the mamzelledeparis website used to be the best way to contact him, but now it's defunct, unfortunately.
They are the brats before Bratz !
😀 What a great observation. You're absolutely right - that comparison hadn't occurred to me at all. lol!
