    Hi, I'm not sure which Aligners I should get that will GUARANTEE the results that I want. My teeth are not bad, infact they are all straight but I have small gaps on the top 5 of my teeth and at the bottom there is a small gap to my right. Apart from that there is nothing wrong. I don't want to pay too much but if it will give me the results that I want them it's an investment I'm willing to make. I don't want to pay thousands just to not get the smile that I want. Which would you suggest?

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety

      Hello Rachel, thanks for your inquiry. Hopefully we can help you down the right path! Truth be told, orthodontic treatment is really based on the experience of the dentist doing the treatment. With something like Invisalign, it's actually the responsibility of the dentist to design the smile that you want and it's his job to make sure that everything is taken care of. The thing is, you have 5 years with Invisalign to get everything right. With smile direct club you're really limiting yourself to the decision of a dentist that you've never met before!
      At the end of the day, because this is a large investment, our recommendation would be for you to make sure that you visit multiple different dentists who have significant experience with Invisalign. You'll be able to tell based upon their Invisalign provider rating. Diamond, platinum, etc. The diamond ones are the guest and you know they've done the most amount of cases in the last 6 months.
      The other thing is, most dentists will not guarantee treatment. It really depends on the individual dentist performing your treatment and not necessarily on the product itself.
      With Invisalign, there's a lot more leeway and you'll always be able to get refinement trays if you're unhappy.
      I hope that this has helped answer some of your questions! If you have any others, please don't hesitate to reach out! We'd be more than happy to help.

    I had braces previously and didn’t wear my retainer :/ .... do you think i could get away w getting candid or should i look into Invisalign.

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety +4

      Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Honestly, we actually see this quite a bit with new patients that visit our office, they state that they had braces a few years ago and that their teeth have shifted back to their original state, as you're well aware you need to continuously wear the retainer pretty much for the rest of your life to maintain your smile! 🙏
      However you should do some research into Invisalign LITE. They came up with a much more affordable alternative to Invisalign that had a cap on the amount of trays that you can get. This is mainly meant for patients who have had orthodontics in the past but their teeth have shifted back or the necessary movement is fairly minor. Most dentists have the ability to provide this treatment as well, and actually at our office under some circumstances it can actually end up being cheaper than some of the competitors you mentioned such as candid co! This way you're also getting everything that normally comes with Invisalign only much cheaper and a limit on the amount of trays.
      You should visit a few different dentists in your home town so that you can get the best opinion on your orthodontic condition!
      Hopefully this helps. If you have any have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We would be more than happy to help! We would also really appreciate you subscribing to our channel. It would mean a lot to us 🙏😀

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety

      Hello Joseph! Thanks for watching our video. We will mention this right off the bat, it's quite hard for us to give you an opinion without seeing you in person first. This is the only way for us to be able to determine what's best for you. However, if you have an overbite there is a reasonable chance that Invisalign may actually work for you. We've been able to treat patients who have had an overbite in the past. Braces have also worked but it's much harder for us to get a refined treatment plan similar to that of Invisalign.
      DTC aligners will have a really tough time fixing your actual problem, they are mainly meant for minor corrections. We would suggest that you visit a few dentists or orthodontists for some free consultations so that you can find the best treatment options for you. We would suggest you look for dentists that have a really high ranking on the Invisalign provider such as diamond or platinum this means that they have done a lot of cases over the last 6 months which means they may have encountered another problem that might be similar to yours. We hope this answers your question. We would really appreciate it if you could subscribe to our channel! It would mean a lot to us. We are trying to help as many people as we can and this really helps with the youtube algorithm.

We usually recommend that you get a few different dentist opinions about your smile!

    I’m using smile direct club for literally the smallest detail where one of my top middle teeth are slightly further forward than the other and my bottom ones just need adjusting the smallest bit. As there is no rotation or anything complicated involved, do you agree that this treatment is sufficient as the complex abilities of Invisalign wouldn’t be required to be used to achieve my desired outcome? Btw very helpful explanation👍

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety +5

      Hello Adam! Thanks for your question. Hopefully, we can guide you in the right direction. First of all, I just wanted to say congratulations on your smile journey. It's going to be totally worth it once you complete treatment. Here is the thing, Invisalign actually offers a package for minor adjustments that are very similarly priced to other competitors such as Smile Direct Club. It's called Invisalign LITE. It caps the number of trays that you get at 15 which should be very useful for someone who only needs a small amount of treatment.
      In regards to you going through with Smile Direct Club, if you haven't already paid and committed to the aligners then you should absolutely consider this option instead. With Invisalign LITE you also get the attachments and all the additional benefits that we mentioned in the video. We've actually had a few patients stop their treatment with SDC and switch over to get Invisalign treatment at our office. The results that they got just were not up to the standards that the patient had. However, it really depends on each patient. If you have gone through with treatment I would make sure to contact your family dentist and ensure that the dentist monitors your treatment much more closely and the entire time that you're going through with it. You cannot rely on the SDC provider to give you proper advice without seeing you in person, that's why it's critical that you visit your dentist on a very very frequent basis to ensure that things are going in the right direction and that there are no critical problems with your alignment. Just make sure you keep your dentist in the loop.
      I hope this answers your question! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask. We would be more than happy to help guide you in the right direction. We would really appreciate it if you could subscribe to our channel as it would help us educate more people through the youtube algorithm. It would mean a lot to us.

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety +3

      It's pretty much the same thing, we just have different names. You should just remember that Express/Lite pretty much means 15 trays and under with refinements. The thing is, this will only work if you do indeed have a minor problem. A dentist will be able to let you know exactly how many trays he thinks this will take and whether or not Invisalign Express/Lite will work. You should consider visiting multiple dentists and getting multiple opinions so that you can know exactly what your orthodontic condition is like.

      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 2 lety

      It's not biased at all. We always recommend that people consider multiple dentists so they're making it the best advice about their orthodontic condition. We always recommend that people understand what they need for their teeth, and what factors are involved when it comes to straightening up teeth. When it comes to someone like smile direct club, You don't actually get to see the dentist. It's really hard for them to get a true assessment of the condition of your smile without carefully reviewing you in person and taking complete measurements of your smile. We've always made it abundantly clear that we consider visiting multiple dentists a necessity as it's critical to not just take the advice of the first dentist you see but to really learn and understand about your specific condition and what it takes to transform your smile. Hopefully this helps guide you in the right direction. Thank you so much for your comment.
