+How To Make Sushi chef devaux, can you make this without that special pan? big fan Btw!
I've tried it with a round pan and it worked
Parental Advisory. Explicit Content. Just take another pan....
This was great. Thanks so much. My first attempt at tamagoyaki worked really well, even thought I had only a round pan.
Cool! that is even more impressive, cause it's definitely harder to make tamagoyaki in a round pan than a square pan.
The ends had to be trimmed, but it was quite good enough: facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154747714961368&set=a.10150696208246368.446956.606661367&type=3&theater

Nice :) i asked for this like ... less than 48 hours ago. Your video's are an inspiration.
Excellent video!
wow...amazing! thanks for making this video ;)
Ah, something I am going to have to pracice and learn a lot of in japan this fall. Cheap and pretty good.
You should do more videos like this. sushi is great but I like this small variety.
Thank you,
Great video, technique, and style. Where did you get the pan?
Man I have headphones and when you turned on the gaz it scared the hell out of me lol ! It sounded like a bullet shot !
Anyway great videos as always, lot of love from France :)
Yes Tamago Egg! Nice Video this was a nice traditional style!
I use rectangle pans in a commercial Chinese oven.I have to make 10 pans and use a blender to mix large quantities.I like the video was super smooth and reminded me of an older Japanese sushi chef (he actually preferred on Flat top grill.)If i were making at home i would like one of the copper pans.Cheers!
Great work, as usual. I have never tried this omelet before, but I love how it's made. Would there be any issues with using this method and using other ingredients between the layers? Part of me wants to merge this with a Desert Crepe recipe.
I am very inspired..
Keep trying to make more videos Please!! they are great!
yay ur back :D looks awesome :)

Terrific job. I know that's not as easy as it looks to prepare.
Awesome...😍
I'm happy you enjoyed the video @Forty Seven, if you could please take a second to share this video.
The first time I ate that Sweet Japanese Omelet was at my old job my boss made it
Now going to try to make it myself
FINALLY BAAACK!! YAAAY
Excuse my ignorance, but I've just made myself a square pan with an iron plate and a little welding ;). What I would like to know is if it will do the job as well as a copper pan and if I can add some ham and cheese to that beauty. Great Video. Thanks.
Finally a video
Absolute boss
I honestly love ur channel. Why was there suck a big break, I missed your channel uploads and can I ask? You have very peculiar but nice accent what country do you live in?
that was amusing,i appreciate your video, though i was hoping there were other who interested and i would share this video with them XD.
Good video
I've seen recipes for tamagoyaki that mention using soy sauce instead of dashi, and then others which mention using both soy sauce and dashi, all of which would go in along with the mirin, sugar, and salt. Do you happen to know which combination would be the most commonly used in Japanese cooking?
This also works awesomely in a pan of fried asian noodles; we've got a mongolian around here that puts just little strips of these in there
welcome back!!! yuppi!
Cool stuff :)
My freind and his father the late and great Roy was a sushi chef most of his life..He got me a pan and told me to sear the pan before I tried to make this..
School's got me feeling like those eggs at the end of this video.
awesome video! subscribed
Thank you None! and welcome aboard! none none
Yes! Captain
Will this seasoning technique mentioned work on cast iron as well?
Lookin so tasty! u re so great
It looks like a mouth gasm.
Thanks! Im glad you liked it
Do you need to use a special cloth to rub the oil on the pan? If yes, what is it called and where can I find it?
Thanks for the video! Ive tried a bastardized western version of this a while ago. Just using a regular circular pan, on a very low heat slowly rolling the egg as it cooks...ends up as a literal Egg Roll, vs the traditional Tamgoyaki shape. If you layer the egg and some veggies/prosciutto or something you get interesting look as you slice 2/4" servings....king of a Sushi roll style egg omelet.
I'm currently considering to buy a pan like this, I did some quite decent Tamagoyaki in a round pan but only manged to turn 3 layers. So I'm really exited for this pan. But I'll wait untill February untill I order because I live in Germany, and the free trade agreement between the EU and Japan begins effect on 1.February. So I'll save import taxes by then :).
tem como você sitar os ingredientes em português? adoro seu canal!
Very nice production. Link to pan says four eggs. Is yours larger?
Nice sous vide suprême
2 months for a new video? cmn man we missed you
i found that longer cooking chopsticks make this sooo much easier
Damn that looks so good
yeah tam ago is always great, have you tried making it?
***** no but i might try some day
Hi! How about making some onigiri (those large rice balls) or a bento recipe? :)
youriemhei Yes!
you are very very nice cooker
Carmen Senatore why do you call him a cooker ?
wNNdSharK
She obviously meant cook.
HungryHyena okay
For a less traditional approach would it be possible to add maybe a cheese or ham just before you flip the egg.
Hey um just a point to make, touching the tamago whilst hot can introduce bacteria into it pretty easily, because the temperature is optimal for growth. It's a problem in restaurants where they store that stuff in the fridge over time but for your case it might take some time before that tamago is finished. Just a point, nice vid man.
Nice:)
