I think stores now sells like these magnetic-able sticker you could attach at the back of your casing for the razer phone 2 or directly on to it (without the casing) to at least let magnetic wireless chargers stick to it.
This is genius, it's almost like you reverse engineered a wireless charger back to a wired charger. Now I can game with a wireless charger attached to my phone so I can get the feeling that my USB C port still works...
I've dealt with this issue off and on for a while but tonight was severely frustrating. I have to get up at 6am and I use my phone as an alarm. Its currently 4:25am now, I've been fiddling with this charger trying to get it to work again but no luck. I saw this video and remembered that I have a wireless charger in my car so I unmounted it and have my phone resting on it now as I type. Its even rapid charging. Its super bulky now but it's charging that's what matters. Unfortunately I'll have to seek out a different phone because due to Razers discontinued support this issus probably won't get fixed.
Did razer fail with razer phone series? Because they charge you almost half the price of a brand new phone just for shipping fees... Not to mention they have labor fess part fees... Basically an entire phone is your best bet! Razer is truly disappointing... They promised full support but left in the middle of their project, not even selling important replacement part even though they stopped producing more phones... Like at least help those who have trusted and bought your product... I have 2 RP2 because i needed a new port and ended up in buying a new one... The new phone didn't even last as well... Im extremely disappointed even in the used market its already about to lose what's left in its lifespan
