This week I'm bringing you this gorgeous and super easy diy step by step for how to create rainbow chrome foil nails that give a sort of multi chrome / duo chrome effect without the chrome nail powders! This is a great gel or nail polish design inspired by Annalise from Darling Digits! As I was editing Cristine from Simply Nailogical uploaded her full face with multi-chrome makeup and I couldn't believe it so I just had to put her as this weeks creator of the week!

What a great video and look. I usually have to do one nail at a time to avoid sticking to my other nails.
I just made your "recipe" for cuticle oil. I used a combo of lavender and lemon essential oils(skin safe, of course) as my fragrance. Now I'm just using up what's left in my store bought cuticle pens(that don't seem to do anything), so I can refill them.

Hey also - I discovered something about the refillable jojoba oil pens, Natasha. I was turning the thingy to push out the last bit of oil from the brush and guess what happened ... the end that never comes off and needs a dangerous tool to remove - the end actually POPPED OF all by itself!!
True story! No more bleeding!! Just keep turning and turning even when you think there’s no more oil
in there, and it’ll pop off.
Also, the brush end w i l l come off if you can grip it strong enough and twist as you pull - I’ve done this a few times, and I’d much rather pull than risk another cut.

she talks about gel polish, and all removal is the same, she did one with dip powder too ;)
Goda Masiliauskaitė No I mean applying the peel off basecoat over a gel top coat. Natasha has a gel overlay on her nails and applies the basecoat over that. Cristine applies right onto her natural nails.
ReshiK its same thing, you just apply it on and you just peel it of as you would do normally

Hi Natasha...yet another fantastic video - thank you. Like you, sometimes I want to remove my set after a few days, so after seeing your video's I purchased the UNT peel off base coat and followed your advice. But they peeled off by themselves that very night ! I've put it on over both gel and acrylics - topping both with gel polish and topcoat, being careful to cap the free edge - but unfortunately had the same result with both. What am I doing wrong....or missing ? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated please.

I like using the inhibition layer of a gel polish to stick my foil to, much better than the foil glue.
I find it depends on the gel polish. Before I filmed this I tested two brands with and without foil glue and it was definitely better with foil glue but that’s just these brands. Each brand is different and when I used to use CND Shellac I didn’t use foil glue ♥️
I have an unrelated question, Natasha! Recently, I have noticed some dark discoloration around my eponychium. Is it possible for the skin to discolor from nail art/care? Or is this something normal that happens as you age?
I love the look of foils, but i can never get them right. I use a gel top coat over it but it stays as if it never fully dried, i can even scrape it of with my fingers.
I've also tried leaving the foil without topcoat to dry for a long time but it still remains that way.
Is it normal for it to happen? Or could it be the glue?
I want to try magpie products, do you know if they ship to the states?

Thanks lovely. I actually had a huge issue when I was about 15 minutes from upload where my Mac crashed and corrupted the entire video and voiceover. I wanted to cry but instead poured a brandy, spent an hour on google and managed to eventually fix it, hence the late upload 😂😂

I need to figure out where to get affordable foil glue that actually works. The stuff I got from eBay did nothing. My foil didn't stick at all!
It won't come off my acrylics, like at all. I have to take acetine to it and then use a buffing block to get it off. HELP ME PLEASE lol
The trick is to apply a gel topcoat over your finished acrylic. Then you should be able to peel them off ♥️♥️
