Its nice to see content on the F4i. I have a 2001 that I’m restoring and its taking much longer than expected thanks to the world. I’m also from Washington as well!

Awesome! I've actually been looking for the piece you cut off that holds the license plate. I can't find the OEM fenders anywhere! I unfortunately have to install an oem back on to pass an inspection.
That sucks, I hope that they will accept this kit. It should be legal most places.

I have ordered this kit and gave it a go today I cut it a 1/4” infront of those tabs but I couldn’t get it to fit I read the instructions and it said 3/4” to cut off so I cut the remaining 1/2” now it’s well to short 😂 so I need to order a new undertray and give it another go.. might seem strange to say but the brackets that bolt into the frame I have don’t look as deep as the ones you have and I just can’t see how it’s going to fit with the ones supplied
Oh boy yeah for me 1/4 inch was perfect. The brackets ended up being pretty tricky so I used the OEM washer to get them to fit. Hopefully the next go around goes better.
I’m over in the uk it was a pain in the arse to get the kit sent over to me 😂 mine is a 2002 model cbr with a banana seat but I looked at the website and my rear light and tail looks more like the 2004-2006 kit I’m not sure if the models in the uk are slightly infront of the America models or if they have been labelled up wrong but I’m pretty sure I need a kit for the 2004-2006 f4i… that’s even more of a pain hahaha
What brand turn signals are those?. I just installed the same fender delete and are now wanting to change out the stock turn signals.

Did those turn signal lights come in the kit? If not do you have a link for them?
No the turn signals did not come with the kit. These signals have been discontinued but here are some similar ones:

You will also need a different relay to hadle the hyper flash:

Hope this helps.
Note: for the front signals don't run both positive wires they don't work well with the LEDs. You'll see what I mean once you take it apart.
Great work. Quick question for you. How does it effect your seat with no lock?
The lock gets relocated to under the tail so you still have full use of that.

What year is your f4i? My 2001 seat looks totally different
Mine is a 2006. There is a different kit for the split seat models but the process is similar.
What did you do with the lock
It gets relocated under the tail with this kit.

NOOOO! Not fender eliminators!! Sorry, but I find fender eliminator stupid and ugly..... gotta keep it OG status! No offense to you, just my opinion. At least yours wasn't the kind that gets rid of the rear taillights and add some funky looking underbody and lighting.
