OMG that is so cute! I would wear that all the time if I could. I love that you make the same mistakes as me. I sometimes get things backwards, too, and am always having to "fix" my mistakes. It's nice that you show this because sewing like you do is often trial and error. You have to learn how to correct your mistakes without giving up. I love your channel, I only wish I had a body like yours so I could recreate your designs. I am short and "thick" lol with no waist, which is why I always have to tailor my own cloths to fit. I just buy them to fit my shoulders and adjust the rest. Your channel has helped me a lot and given me great ideas and I am a 52 yr old who has been sewing before you were born!🙂 Keep up the great work.

Backwards pockets means nothing falls out when you sit down. Chef pants have them and it’s amazing.

Ok the tip for the curved edges of the pockets BLEW MY MIND!! this is why I love following multiple sewists because everyone has different tips and tricks to share and there is always something new to learn!
Even easier if you gather it around a piece of cardboard cut to the size of the pocket minus seam allowance. Got that from quilters doing paper piecing

This is a great motivator for me to make my own overalls. I had bought some cotton for a pair of wide leg pants Im making so I might as well use the scraps for a bodice so I have something interesting to wear in my daily life.

aw man I made overall shorts last summer and I wish I had known about just top-stitching the top front/back pieces behind the waistband. I bent my brain trying to sandwich them between the waistband and catch everything on one go-around. great tutorial!

As you were laying down the skirt I said "oh no the pockets are flipped the wrong way", it's the worst when we make mistakes that would have been so simple to fix before the cut!
