    I read that Casement telling Pearce to wait until the arms come from Germany - which suggests or asserts that he been involved in procuring weapons, and during wartime I wonder if that is a fabrication?

      Correct. But he was also attempting to stop the uprising when he was arrested.
      What he witnessed in the Congo made him anti colonial
