I will miss you Sweet Pea. Grew up with the best black male voices and Sweet Pea remains one of the most distinct ❤
He's the guy in the suit and hat.

Frank Sinatra jr. was a great singer on his own merits.

Beautiful! Frank Jr. sure was his dad's son. He actually blew the lyrics at the end of the second verse, and recovered so smoothly and quickly that unless you knew the song, you'd never even notice. Ever the professional. RIP, March 2016.

Sounds almost like his Dad (talking & singing). He's got the phrasing and tone. I am happy he had the balls to team with Was (Not Was) and actually did a great job on this song. I think Mel Torme may have encouraged him. The group is wonderful at this sort of thing. I wished they would continue doing this sort of thing and surprise us with whoever they convince to sing for them. Jack Jones always had a pretty good rock voice ("I'm Indestructible"). RIP Frank Jr.

It was unbelievably good. He sang many old standards and it was like watching Sr.

frank jr certainly seemed to have a healthy sense of humour and got some decent gigs out of it too! this being one, but his little cameo watching silvio dante tear a strip off an idiotic wannabe mobster in 'the soprano's' (second series?) must be the finest!

This should have been a great break out opportunity for him with a new generation. Maybe he was just too busy being his father's new conductor - he once alluded to this in an interview.

My humble opinion, I think if Frank Jr recorded music in the Smooth Jazz genre, I think he would've killed it and would've had the opportunity to break away from his father's shadow.

@@patl6978Yeah but Smooth Jazz didn't start becoming a thing until the 1980s at least. I think Frank Jr could've easily joined the ranks of Smooth Jazz heavyweights like Sade, Paul Hardcastle, and Dave Koz. Had he recorded some albums in that genre, he would've killed it because he did a fantastic job with this song.
