I felt that same feeling, I wanted to show it to my mom and miss her and my dad..I was just a kid and always heard my parents listening to "This is The Music of your Life"' national broadcast on the local radio affiliate...
I was in my 30s when I really begin to appreciated the talent in that music and had it set between all the rock and rap stations on my car stereo hoping none of my friends came across the preset.. I'm sure I had to be one of the only people in Sacramento switching back and forth from Dean Martin to Pantera to Jack Jones8 to Anthrax.. it was a sad day in 2004 when KCTC changed its format to political talk...

I became friends with all of those people I do. I was a singer first and never did any impressions until Merv Griffin heard me sing a couple at this home one evening and from that day on I was known as "the singing impressionist" Merv Wrote my act.
