The list is a long one. And the community manager Smin1080p even admitted that they just drop the dev blogs and almost never revisit them afterwards beyond just moderation. Where’s the follow up on the severe damage mechanic? There’s been responses that it’s very hit and miss. What about the Abrams armor viability post? Still no follow up despite players stating their fix isn’t doing anything.

Hopefully Justin you can see this is not a good change at all. USSR vehicles are the only ones that benefit from this. This changes are not something we really need, at least not in this way. There are so many aircrafts getting moved to to BR bracket that doesn't make sense.
-A10 Late with shtty mavericks that anyone and everyone can intercept and at best they give a crit, and a paper flight model is going up? To possibly face Pantsirs (which since its introduction CAS is almost non existent unless you get at least 3-6 planes spawn around the same time) Not to mention you're going to face F16s and some high end MIGs. Yea it has 4 aim9Ls but those LOVE flares.
-A4 Also going up to a BR where anything and everything will be able to counter it. Sure, having (2) Guided bombs at 8.7 was a little too much but maybe 9.0 or 9.3 would've been an acceptable change. Not a 1.0 change, it doesn't have flares, it doesn't have reliable A-A stuff....
-Q5L No air to air and no flares going to 9.7 just because it has laser guided bombs. AGAIN WHAT?...
-F5E Going to 11.0 at that point just use the F4E why even bother... Mavericks are not even that good to begin with.
I dont want to make this longer but i could keep going. And the Elephant in the room is how some of the USSR vehicles are (questionably) staying in the same BR or going to lower BRs.
SU25SM3 Going to 12.7 doesn't change the fact that it can take out anything and everything at 12+ km Im still salty that someone with a kill a cap point and an assist has enough to spawn something so broken.
I'm simply informing everyone of said changes, I have my issues with much of this as well.
i think the reasoning behind the Su-25s not going up from 10.0 is becaus they don't get access to TV guided weapons, which the IR SPAA usually have a hard time fighting against, I don't fully agree with Su-25s not going up but I think I understand why

Pretty much Both A-10s get mavericks that are fire and forget long range and prem A-10 also gets guided bombs vs Su-25s at 10.0 with a terrible guided missile or dumb drop bombs or rockets
@@sniper321fire the problem is that mavricks are straight trash, the HEAT warhead being the biggest problem, and not only that but mavericks HATE to overpressure pretty much anything bigger than a weisel, and the Su-25 can be both trash and amazing depending on the state of the game, if there is any SPAA, might aswell not spawn, but if the airspace is uncontested, the S-25O rockets rain hell upon the enemy

Makes sense that the Su-25 stays at 10.0. It has no viable guided weapons, it’s just a rocket truck. But I am not sure why the Su-25T and Su-25TM aren’t moving up.
It doesn’t make sense for me that the A-10A Late is a higher br than the A-10A Early in ground rb. I would argue that the Early version is much better because the AGM-65Ds on the Late version have terrible zoom. The AGM-65Bs on the Early are much better, and allow you to joust AA.
I predict that these new br changes will leave certain vehicles unaffected, and for some other vehicles, make them not viable in uptiers.
Interesting point of view
The AGM65D is way better then the B (IR compared to TV guided) with TV, you cant locknin bad weather, and the B has a difficult time locking tanks and AA with obstacles near.
@@WT_TheDestroyer that’s true, but in practice, you are unable to take advantage of its improved locking capabilities because due to the poor optics. With a targeting pod though, they are definitely much better.

I think this will only make the compression even worse. I really wait to fly the AMX at 11.3 (no lineup at 11.0) so I can 9/10 times face top tier SPAA that will auto kill my at spawn and the only way to actually be effective is to just be lucky. GJ Gaijin

imo , 9.7 is bit too harsh , probably 9.3 would have been good , since it sucks in air rb and now it'll almost suck at grb aswell , just my opinion

@willthomas9635 I like never see them tank a lot. Most times, my 1 stinger is enough to make, then spin and die or 2 at most let alone M247 and other gun AA just melts them
I couldn’t help but observe that the people who previously complained that the game was overrun by CAS have either left or started complaining that X nation now suffers/is hated by gaijin because the initial BR changes make the aircraft less effective.

Exactly, even the minor nations gets better treatment than the US. For aircrafts the Israel and Japan get more modern version of US vehicles and better missiles at the same or only 0.3 higher BR's..

In air sim my average winrate with American top tier jets is 70 percent, my winrate in the SU-27 is 17 percent.
No way gajin actually thinks the Q5L with only 2 guided bombs no flares no missiles is worth 10.7 the same br as the a6e and a10a late and higher than the su25

The su17 has no guided weapons and like 4 flare uses so it makes sense

While I'm ok with the idea of separate BR's for different modes, the aircraft they've chosen to move around is just insane. Some examples provided by the comments: The A-10 going to 10.7 while the SU-25K remains at 10.0, or the Q-5L going to 10.7 from 9.7with only two laser guided bombs with no flares or missiles.
Gaijin continues to surprise me, at how stupid they are.
The su25 is just rocket and bomb spam anyone who isnt blind and stupid can easily take it out
The su25k doesn’t have access to guidedbombs, as well as the fact it has a lower number of AGMs, a much weaker gun with less ammo, a lower countermeasure count, more difficult to use sights/optics/guidance systems etc

The problem is right at the 8.7 9.0 where the changes cut out, like a4e moved entire 1 br up, makes my line up incomplete since I'm still researching at that br
So now 8.7-9.3, the only top tier BR bracket for the US other than 10.3 is no longer viable, because A-4 was the only reason it was playable at all.

A4E at 9.7 is ridiculous...
8.7-9.3 lineup for the US without A4E is ridiculous, basically you have:
- 2 tanks with sub-300mm penetration and no thermals
- 2 big, slow Pattons
- premium XM-1 with nerfed sub-300mm penetration
That's it, that's the bulk of your force. This is supposed to match the onslaught of T-72s and Leopards.

this does not work, imagine I take out my a10 at 11.0 and get a full uptier, now the rest of my team has f16's and I'm stuck in a slow fat weak a10 with the most ** air to ground missiles in the game. no problem hear at all.

The three changes for US CAS planes has made them completely useless and redundant, I will never take out the F5E, A10 or A4E again.
The F5E and A10 are effectively 11.0 because the US has no 10.7 tanks, why would I take out either of these planes over the F4E?

Completely agree. Same problem as with my AMX which yeah was good at 10.3 but where else would it go? There’s no line up at 10.7 which would even if there was it’s in pansir range (die at spawn). I shouldn’t have to be a God tier pilot just fly some CAS planes lol

Played A4E for a while and spaded it. I'd like to say A4E is too powerful at 8.7 and should not stay there. But it should not be higher than 9.3. At 9.3 you already have Mistrals and Iglas, which can effectively counter A4E at many times.

I don’t get the need for this and why people asked for it. All it seems to have done was break lineups. I see very few people excited for it and for more people upset.
That's because the ones crying can't space bomb with impunity anymore and are gonna let everyone know about it. If you like it or don't care you don't have to say anything. I love the changes. The whole point was to make less people play air in ground matches and actually play ground, or make it so spaa and fighters have a chance to kill strike aircraft.

@@blackop3765 You are aware of the fact that War Thunder was originally an airplane game right? And tanks were added later? And air superiority is a realistic tactic and an important one? I feel like the other people seething is those who don’t know how (easily it really is) to deal with CAS. Hint, it’s incredibly easy. Thankfully these are not set in stone and Gaijin will probably revert or change some.
My issue is that it simply breaks line ups with no tangible benefit to anyone.
It’s a well known effect; people that are happy or neutral do not feel the need to express themselves. While people that may be dissatisfied are more likely to leave feedback.
What about nerfing the Spawn Point requirements to actually spawn CAS, it is broken that you can spawn a full load out plane with only a Scout or an assist. I've seen people spawn fully decked out planes 2 minutes into battle

A-10A Late is now gonna see the Panthsir in uptiers and it's basically not worth it to uptier your 10.3 lineup all the way to the top tier
They didn't even reduce A-7's BRs properly, the AV-8C harrier has better flight model, better gun and same missiles at 9.7 and they only reduced by 0.3 BR? It should not be higher BR than harrier if it's way worse than it...
And Su-25 of course get's away with it because as we all know comrades, Russia is superior and it should represented in game by shitting on those pesky american vehicles

a really easy fix for having CAS absolutely dominate GRB: charge more for CAS spawns. no reason someone should get a cap or assist and spawba KA50 or dozens of other aircraft and kill 8 tanks with fire and forget shit. top tier CAS is just too cheap.

Q5L going to 10.7(from 9.7) with only 2 laser guided bombs, no countermeasures and no aam is just wrong. to make things even worse, its now gonna face pantsirs...

Su-25 at 10.3 has a lot counters. Its guided weapons are bad to use.
Su25BM is poor to say the best.
Su-25T/39 are capable but they fight top SPAA and they can be easily countered.
Su25SM3 is insane and it will still be insane... going to 12.7 will not change much for 11.7 USSR players who have it tbh.

its a bit excessive what gaijin is planning here. Some BR ups and Downs are too overdone. Especially the down BRs Mach2 jets with CCIP against 10G AAM SPAAs^^
Also some of these fighterjets now can easily farm the Ground Strike Aicrafts that moved up and will have zero chance against the fighter jets.

As a China tank enthusiast, yes, the tech tree is worse but only because Gaijin (assuming you only talk about top tier).
They are, however, much more fun to play, so I would say it is worth the grind.

A10 and Su25 need to go up in BR in air and stay they same in ground. They are fine where they are in ground but they just ruin the 8.0-10.0 bracket for air cuz all aspect missiles

The only thing I ever wanted from Gaijin was Battle ratings based on how good vehicles actually are with a hint of historical accuracy. Instead of BRs being based on performance statistics that led to wildly bad balancing decisions on countless occasions.

How? Guided munitions planes going up to BRs that fighters and spaa can easily kill them if they try space bombing, sure you'll see an increase in unguided bomb dropping aircraft but they for the most part have to get close and are easy targets for SPAA if not played right.
