CAS has been pretty friggin' strong again after they made SAM missiles extremely hard to operate.
Yeah my Roland 2s and 3s are useless once the enemy jet turns its so hard to kill them which is totally not historically accurate if that’s what Gaijin was going for
The primary reason for CAS being on the defensive recently is due to the Pantsir and, arguably, the Tor. Outside of that, CAS has performed reasonably the same, imo.

7:30 poor guy brought out a back up Pantsir to try and kill you but died twice. Been there.
You should try the new Mirage 2000-5F for CAS next, it has a crazy targeting pod with gen 3 thermals and 98.2x zoom (all other jets have 25.4x zoom at most, for reference)

@@lsq7833the 2000-5F could still carry 530D's and magic 2's. What it could no longer carry was the 530F, and I think the magic 1.

@@evangalinsky2499 The 2000-5F could actually not carry 530Ds, or any 530 fore that matter, because the RDY is unable to guide Fox1 missiles actually. Its A2A armements are 2 magic 2s or MICA IR, and 4 MICA ERs on inner pylons.
As for the ground ordonnances, the French mirage 2000-5 were never able to carry the guided weapons Gaijing implemented, it was only for export variants such as the one Egypt bought.
All in all, nothing is good with the current load outs the M2K5F carries

One F-14B destroyed my entire team even though we had four spaa up because spaa missiles are so damn hard to aim now

TOR is now the most usable SPAA at top tier after the missile "realistic change" which makes it harder to control SACLOS missiles
Can't wait to do this. Sadly, while I do have this Tomcat, I don't have past an 8.7 American tank :(. Grinding ground is a freaking pain.

Try the OTO in antiair mode,since all the missiles nerf it became the best closr range air coverage vehicle(that implies tho that over 4km if the target is movinf youre useless since it still doesn t have laser guided rocket propelled shots)
Quite a few others already had laser guided ordnance. Maybe not LGB as their known, but still laser guided missiles and such.
My god are these laser guided bombs satisfying to watch. As for the bomb delay, yeah, "assault fuse" is bugged, I go for the "0.00 seconds" option; detonates on impact.
Claims he is just a "Tanker" then proceeds to casually gun kill the enemy jet on full speed with keyboard only ,F14 maverick style !

Can you please tell me how can you move aiming on locked targets (while dropping GBUs)? Where can I find these settings/keybind? I tryed to find it witout luck. It's working on every nation's aircraft, or just some? (I researched cccp techtree :/ )

I set my bomb fuses to impact when im running any of the gbu's. Tends to take care of the issue of tanks driving away from your bomb.
Me who never uses planes in GRB so I don’t even have one in a line up, thanks to the 3 people in a FlakRad that blow me out of the sky as soon as I spawn

Ya the Sound of the engines is messed up so my engines make me think that an enemy is right next to where I am. But then there is no tank to be found or my engine makes a double-sounding engine noise so it makes me think that either I'm close to an enemy or I'm about to get killed.
yea, ive definitely noticed the bombs not killing despite hitting the target. Hit 2 turms in one battle with Walleyes, didnt kill either
i've hit an is6 i believe or 7 with like 7000 pounds of bombs ONTOP of the tank and i got his machine gun
What’s with the German tornado in tech tree has guided bombs too
I try to use it in ground rb. It flies like a bus, it not agile as F14b. Hard to avoid enemy AAM's in it. This is just my experiance

I don't think you realized it but you only equipped flares which works against IR missiles.
You should equip both flares and chaff for countermeasures.
Play the Aubl HVG the 60 mm has less spall than 20 mm APDS
1 out of 30 games I do a great job in the fb. I been getting pissed off of how bad I been doing. I been wanting to be a bomber but I'm only good with dog fighting.

F14 is so fast that the pantsir can't lead its missile enough
i mostly graind ussr for MIG-29 but do you suggest to go for F-14B or JA37D (end F-14 is call Tomcat)
viggens are mid imo. the best plane in the game is def the f14b. 6 aim7ms and 2 9ls and alot of flares
If you are an air player, grind for the Mig 29 first. It's much more fun and simple to operate, plus it has the best SARH missiles. As someone who has the F 14B, the F 16, and the Mig 29, I enjoy the Mig 29 most in air battles. If you are a ground player, definitely go for the new Tomcat. The Mig 29 is very limited in a CAS role.
@@sirhayden5516 I'd say the F 14 is the 2nd or 3rd best plane in game... the Mig 29 is definitely THE best as of right now when it comes to air. I've played the F 14B, the F 16 (both), and the Mig 29. Mig beats them all.
Honestly bro try out the Chinese air tree. Those J-8’s are crazy good, especially the new one they have and those new Python 3 missles are CRAZY, plus you can get a good version of the F-16 (taiwanese)

The adats missiles got nerfed so they are kinda harder to use now
You don’t have to point your jet towards them to use the targeting pod. Just fly horizontally to the field. Target the enemy. Drop the bomb, and then turn away, allowing the pod to still target the enemy. The higher you are the easier it is.
You should carry at least 1 phoenix for those peski heli/drone

At some point you should have a look at ther Object 435, it's a slightly better T-62 and 8.3 Russia is incredible so that's 1 more excuse to take it out.

Yeah bug off with that, Su-39 is a far bigger threat since some nations physically cannot take it down (stingers are affected by IRCM for some bullshit reason)

For example : I have grind out ja37 but i can't grind the ja37c befor I go through entire Finnish line.
So befor I can do the 420k grind I'm forced to grind another 700k ore something like that.
The amount of time or money is far from what a normal person can handle.

TV and Keyboard guided (maclos?) Yes. But no laser guided outside of being a premium

Don't go towards or away from it, just go fast across their field of view.

why dont you use the plane's built-in tv camera that was meant specifically to identify targets instead of using pods. Also instant fuse takes 7 seconds to arm the bomb from the time its dropped so if you drop from close its not gonna work. 0.0 is better cause it fuses instantly 100% of the time no matter what
The camera only faces forward. If you use the pod you can literally fly away from the target and keep it lazed.

None of them have LGBs m8. They have Mavericks, Walleyes and GBUs which are all TV guided.
Only the TRAM and the Bombcat have LGBs in the US tree currently.

The F14B is in such a pathetic state right now. TWS is broken, missiles that won’t come off the rails when you have a perfect lock, missiles that wildly miss the target despite the most optimal launch parameters, missiles that self destruct when they shouldn’t, IR missiles that simply fall off the rails and into the ground…
It’s so frustrating to have been looking forward to playing for so long only to have everything be broken once I finally have it.
