Jinx is such a popular champion, yet so hard to pick up. Any new player may think that she's ment to be played in "go in, DPS check" style a-la Tristana, but she actually requires incredible discipline and good kiting ability. Even though her kit is simple, she is going to feel weak if you don't understand what scaling is (Most new players have no idea).
Yeah completely - I feel she doesn't really get to be a true Jinx until at least they have 3 items!
she's my best carry by far - in low elo a good jinx player just likes to farm, harass safely with rocket at times, throw the occasional w, save e and flash when you see lethal angles or disengage ganks and just throw ult when fights happen on other lanes...just stay safe and farm up to 3 items and then you teamfight...I don't like supports that look to go in, once I reach 3 items I can carry anyways so I don't want to look for volatile lane trades where I can get locked down..
she is similar to support Senna in that sense..just farm your souls..stay safe and harass from a distance, have map awareness for ults, carry late game
focus on dodging the skills that can lock you down and just farm - she is one of those champs that are comfortable going 0/0/0 in lane throwing an ult for the occasional assist/kill on another lane - other carries need to stack kills and bully lanes early, jinx does not
@@johnkirk1772 so true, its my first time playing jinx and I honestly like supports that don't tend to go all in like pyke and leona, unless I say otherwise to go in, then everything good
I noticed I win lane when I always focus on farm than poking, harass from time to time and then map awareness is soooo key to jinx

If you look at this way jhin and jinx are totally opponent yet so similar as both w are long ranged e are traps and ults are very long ranged but both are different as jhin is very sophisticated and jinx is more like "roket goes brrrrr"

the two champs couldn't be more different by virtue of their autos and passive..jhin needs to manage his auto attacks and is burst heavy on his fourth shot..jinx has unlimited autos that stack on attack speed and kill resets
in other words if you get a kill on Jhin you are often at your weakest because your strongest auto requires you to reload, on jinx you are strongest right after getting a kill which serves a steroid for your future autos

I have a few questions. Why kraken instead of shieldbow, and why PD over runaans? Really good video, but I would like some insight to why you said those items. Could you give some insight please?
Kraken Slayer gives you insane DPS and you can apply it easily thanks to the bonus attack speed and attack range you get from your Q. It's just so much damage it's hard to pass up. You certainly can build Shieldbow in games where you need the sustain and shield to stay alive, but Jinx doesn't like to get up close and personal with her enemies, so Shieldbow isn't a must-buy on her like it is on champs like Samira or Nilah.
Phantom Dancer gives you the most single-target DPS of any crit item. Hard stop. It makes it easier for you to kite enemies and gives you insane damage output once you get it stacked. Runaan's Hurricane is an alright choice, and sometimes it is the best choice when you're fighting clumped up teams, but PD is a much stronger second item spike and lets you take towers and objectives much faster.
PD works well with her passive and minigun

I think I benefited from playing Pokémon Unite first. The same habits I picked up there are applicable in League. I just started and I have an 80% win rate with Jinx but I know that’s not gonna last as I get further into the game!😂
My friends and I absolutely love pokemon unite! Who was your main? I was Slowbro/Snorlax for a long time and when he came out played a ton of TTar!
@@3MinuteLeagueofLegends Cinderace. I run Aeos cookie, attack weight and leftovers as my held items. I love Snorlax especially with Heavy Slam quick movement and deals the damage I need in team fights 💪😤

You don't get the bonus attackspeed from the minigun when you switch to the rocket launcher, you can even see it in the video.
Yes indeed you keep the mini gun buff when swapping to fishbones so you can swap back and still have the buff as long as you do it before it drops off!
jinx and varuse play the same but they work different
Completely agree, they're both the late game stay back hyper carries with attack speed buffs!
