  • The eternal question.....which is the best Bloodthirster to build straight out of the box?
Well now you don't have to choose - with the clever use of magnets i will show you how to make all three variants out of one kit (you may need to rob a few pieces for completeness though).
    The magents i used were
6mm dia x 2mm thick Neodymium Magnet for the arms and weapons and 4mm dia x 1mm thick for the heads
BEFORE YOU START.....please note that this was a complete ballache to do so make sure you really want to do this - the heads especially were a mission - given the choice i would happily buy three bloodthirsters instead of trying to magnetise 3 out of one

Thank you! I realize this video is from 5 years ago so I don't expect you to respond, but did you have to do any drilling? Sorry if you mentioned/showed it and I missed it.

Good luck with it. They’re actually brilliant models to paint and look far more intimidating than they actually are 👊

@@boneman-calciumenjoyer8290 a success! Took much longer than I thought but learned a lot about magnetising! I’ve since done my Bloodcrushers and Primaris Dreadnought.

Hey bud - I haven't painted in getting on a for a decade now - I can't wait to get back into it. Just bought a few bits yesterday - can't wait for them to arrive. Luckily I only paint so I don't have to worry about building an army. I can't paint whatever I want, whenever I want. When did you get into warhammer?

Hermit Sage originally I played 40k back in the 90s but then took a 20year hiatus trying to get back into it around 2015 with games like rereleased Space Hulk etc but they didn’t stick. Eventually end of 2017 I came upon Shadespire and got hooked that way, painted a whole bunch of stuff and got the bug again. I got a select group of friends into Shadespire and eventually we all got into AoS mid 2018 literally weeks before AoS 2.0 was released

@@CrankyLeopard - wow you must have bought a classic model - there's a small range that are still metal - good luck with it all. Post some pictures of it when you're done on the LogCabinGaming FB group.

@@logcabingaming3710 will do. It's a primaris psyker. Cool looking model. Forgot how much prep work there was with these metal minis though 😂
