I cant agree with her comments about Spain's vocals. The fact that he was able to maintain pitch and hit the notes he did ...while running around like a crazy person is actually very impressive.
Yep, I LOVE Keiino and I think that Alex has a great voice and she's just an amazing singer. Tom too. Fred might not be the best classic singer, but he is authentic in his yoik and his rapping is pretty good.
I also loved Hatari, although I agree that overall Duncan Laurence was the winner. Hatari's entry was pure art and actually quite good vocals in terms of achieving what they wanted to (even if it's not to everyone's tastes), and the lyrics are powerful and pithy. Plus the backing track and the visuals were really a shot in the arm compared to what is typical for Eurovision.
I found the song extremely catchy, but I had the same problem with the 3 voices not matching each other. That is why for me, Norway came second in my list.
Just found your channel - good stuff, and i look forward to catching up, especially with this years ESC reactions. Such a strong year with so many enjoyable songs with their eyes on the prize - even UK is sending a fine effort.
To be fair to Italy, you only heard a small part of what was an incredible song. And the lyrics are incredibly powerful. You gotta watch North Macedonia and Azerbaijan, both were brilliant.
@@BaloonBleu I think there is a huge cultural barrier, she doesn't understand Italian style (intensity, interpretation, importance of the text) nor does she try, therefore she skips song and singer.
Agreed with most of the comments except saying Mahmood was like JLS cause they’re completely different genres of music and sound nothing alike at all. Mahmood was incredible I thought. Also the lyrics had so much meaning behind them
Only 2min in and the first thing she does is insult "the third guys's" culture and joik. Joik is very personal and for him to do that on a stage and on tv in front of millions of people is incredibly brave
@@KlimovArtem1The lyrics are about his family, and dad who leave him and his mather, when he was A little child, and about this what Money "soldi" are for people
I came back because I watched your Madonna's episodes. Thought I'd watch some more. I see one problem though. People expect vocal critic from you. But 80% of this video is not about vocals at all. Why is that? I think I'd rather watch you lark about vocals. If that makes any sense to you. Thx.
I get the feeling that she already heard all the songs before (except France, that is, apparently) because she speaks in past tense and everything. This is just to refresh herself and the viewer.
You should react to more videos next year! North Macedonia for example was amazing and nobody seems to want to react haha. Maybe reacting to the top 10 according the bookmakers before the finals? Individually of course. Next year is going to be awesome, since we will be hosting it. Dutchiesss!
Loved your reactions to Eurovision this year, If you have some spare time, you might enjoy checking out some of The Netherlands' 'The voice Senior' audtions. It's a spin off of The Voice for Elderly people! Much love from the Netherlands
Sorry, who is/are QUOTE: "JLS from the UK"?? Well, still very happy with Mahmood's performance and 2nd place 🇮🇹 A little insight to him and the song: Mahmood, real name Alessandro Mahmoud, was abandoned by his father when he was a child and grew up with his mother. He has explained that "Soldi" (money) doesn't refer to specific money matters but shows how they can change relationships within a family. The Arabic sentence you hear near the end is a memory of something his father used to say to him. The last verse says "Yesterday you were here, where are you now, dad?" and it's right there that you can actually understand what this song is all about.
It'd be really interesting to see you look at Jamala's 1944 if you wanted to do more videos on past Eurovisions. I'd be curious to hear what you have to say about her in terms of vocals, since apparently she has a background in opera but the stuff she does in that song feels very different.
Agree on Norway; Everyone in my house said it was like the stage on X-Factor when they make the singers group up and give a performance... No chemistry, no harmonies, no fit.
I really disliked the song until they performed in the grand final. I just thought it sounded so mashed together of different genres, and recycled parts. But it really fit the grand stage, and I think they portrayed the message behind the lyrics much better in Tel Aviv than they did in both in Norway and the studio version.
Georgina! I know you said that you're finished with this year's Eurovision, but would you please consider reacting to the Serbian entry "Kruna" by Nevena Božović? Although I agree with you that Duncan Laurence deserved the win overall, I thought Nevena did an amazing job with the pure vocal performance.
For me the three best vocal performances on stage this year was: Duncan (Netherlands) John Lundvik (Sweden) Srbuk (Armenia) - Have literally no idea why she didn't even qualify. Her vocal performance was amazing. ESPECIALLY during the bridge/break of the song. Unmatched by any other female vocals this year and competing for the best of all. There are several other honourable mentions, but I feel these 3 had the best vocals this year.
Kobi Marimi-Israel- is an amazing breath taking VIRTUOSO, no one like him, no one with a voice , talent ,extraordinary dominance, accuracy , stamina, ,Charisma and presence like his.! add to that a warm, intelligent, super sensitive, humorous, loving, caring, tender personality! I was totally smitten when I first heard him and saw him on stage, at his audition, still am! Most Amazing mastered, caressing, relaxing, soothing voice I heard in a very long time. 💖💖💖
I love your videos! Got totally addicted recently ahahha! by the way, I would love to see you reacting to Taylor's " I did something bad" performance on AMAs 2018. That was fire. Probably the best perfromance of hers from her POP stuff. She has strong vocals, moves a lot to choreography and she looks amazing in addition haha.. definitely worth of reacting! :)
It will be very nice to see you reacting to something in spanish for your spanish viewers, for example "Quédate conmigo - Pastora Soler Eurovision 2012 España" (just breathtaking...) or Monica Naranjo - Europa - Gira Adagio 2009 con Orquesta Sinfónica (awesome) or Rosalia - De Plata Directo Sevilla (very thrilling) :) :)
Georgina I’m not sure if you enjoy country music but you should listen to Kacey Musgraves. Even people who don’t typically like country like her. She had a big live performance in London I believe. It’s on CZcams. She’s from my home state of Texas & her voice is so smooth. Almost like if Karen Carpenter (old school) was reincarnated into a modern day country singer (with hints of pop). Highly recommend Follow Your Arrow, High Horse, Space Cowboy, Miserable, Die Fun, Merry Go Round... Ok I’ll stop now. Haha 🎤 👩🏻 🎵
So i was thinking, while you're here with my beautiful Dutch country fresh in your mind. You should listen to some stuff from one of our biggest upcoming artists, Davina Michelle. Maybe her cover of "What about us - Pink". I would love to see you watch it!!
I'm very obsessed with Eurovision, so hearing your thoughts about it is very entertaining.
Agree ^

I cant agree with her comments about Spain's vocals. The fact that he was able to maintain pitch and hit the notes he did ...while running around like a crazy person is actually very impressive.
I agree, and saying it looked like it was "for kids" is a bit ridiculous imo too. It's literally such a bop.
ah Norway was great and it was nice to hear the traditional with the modern, it totally sounded great together for me

Reading this a year later just makes me sad hahaha
Totally disagree with you about Norway, I thought their 3 different voices blended very well and it worked
mikey p norway was puke terrible
mikey p norway was the best
mikey p norway and italy and netherlands
I found the song extremely catchy, but I had the same problem with the 3 voices not matching each other. That is why for me, Norway came second in my list.
Lord Legend exactly
Most of them still better than Madonna's performance
mikkim11 most?
Madonna's original performance before being tweaked...was dire!
*All
ALL of them were better than Madonna, think about 24 of he 26 songs were better. I am also fan of her, but she let almost 200 million people down.
Probably even serhat
I really enjoy your professional comments and like your personality.♥️

I agree with you with the most of the performance! Thank you for sharing ❤
Enjoying your two cents!! thank you!
For vocals, North Macedonia this year was the one to watch and won the Jury vote because of it
Plz female empowerment win ,it is not the voice alone.
it was so old fashioned
Thank you so much for this video! I would love it if you do more Eurovision in 2020!
Thanks for your sincerity!
I hope you make video's again fot eurovision 2020! I like them very much! Best wishes from Gert from the Netherlands !
Norway is the absolute best the baritone just makes it stand out
You don't seem to appreciate italian "soldi". It's a particular voice and a meaningful song. You should listen to it once more😉
