This is what actual Metalcore is, as in "Metallic Hardcore". Most of the stuff they call "Metalcore" today is mislabeled metal.

Converge and Sepultura. Pioneers of metalcore. But I must admit, today's stuff is still pretty good.
Plus, Daniel said it himself in an interview. They said they wanted to do something different and darker.
Where are the Death Metal influences that make this Deathcore?
