Not sure if you have done in the past, but you should do a 2022 BiS for each job. That would be REALLY helpful to new and returning players so they know what to do and dont wast their time on dated gear.

Embers Adrift is the best mmo to release in the last 10 years and you won't hear about it anywhere. Best armor system in any game i've played. No cash shop. It is what I wanted in a ffxi remake in 2022.

Love how the developers keep on leaving a lot of people behind. This grind and elite meta are just disgusting at this point.
I think ML gives alot of that vibe. My counter argument is that we have rarely had such easy access to bridge gear like base Ody and Empy+2
it's like the old XP system where it took forever to lv75. problem is now people expect you to solo everything.
I also think the TVR mission line will culminate in access to a new end game event. Knowing what we know about the dev process and limitations and all that, we are probably looking at a reskin of an existing zone, suited for end game event purposes. Its purpose would likely be to assist in the upgrading of prime weapons, and perhaps direct drops of equipment.
The most obvious answer would be more Sortie, perhaps some special area or exclusive NMs locked behind TVR mission completion. I doubt this though, because it would be weird to have separate parts of the same end game content locked behind two different mission line completions. Don't think they have done that before.
It would be kinda cool to see either battlefields or single zones with trash mobs + mega boss (like limbus) located at and themed like the end areas of the major expansions: Ru'Avitau Shrine, Garden of Ru'Hmet (or the palace), Ruins of Alzadaal, Castle Zvahl(S), and Ra'Kaznar. A single limbus like zone, skinned like the local area, with trash mobs that drop...prime weapon upgrade items I guess, and a mega boss that drops what would be the most badass armor in the game (prime armor?).
I like the limbus zone style with trash mobs + mega boss. Could even do it like limbus (or einherjar) where you have to have a KI from floor 1 to enter floor 2, and so on. Also, alliance content would be nice because, unlike odyssey or sortie, allowing an alliance lets more jobs be useful. It would really be crappy to lock a certain job or jobs out of this final content due to weird game mechanics.
I'm right there with you. I don't think Sortie will continue after the mega boss, and we're gonna get something else. I'm most interested to see how SE handles Primes if that's the truth.
Will it really be the FINAL Tier of Odyssey? V20 was supposed to be the last.
Honestly, it looks dangerous. SE can easily get a way for a long while just raising Vengeance levels
No V25 has always been the final tier, and what we know is that we're getting a final special augment. Dangerous? yes most likely lol
No free log in campaign? Sad, was planning to play for a couple of days during winter.
