Nice restore on your defiance lantern with the copper fount there Ken! 👍👍 Yes love those new arrivals ( especially the little Adlake lantern ) 🙂🙂 Yes finished off my plug in Dietz traffic gard lantern light with a greenish black finish, using automotive paint & looks fantastic!🙂🙂

Well, I think it’s safe to say, that Defiance is a total win! Great job on that! Sometimes ya gotta do surgery and hide the scars, black and copper is a striking combo! And, a combo I’ve seen on a few old survivors, too!

The copper lantern is beautiful, nice job. How would you repair the bottom that has dozens of pinholes? I have a monarch with a blue glass that I like and would like to try and fix. Thanks
Thanks Tony 👍 and if they are just some small pin holes I usually just clean out the fuel tank really good with acetone and or isopropyl alcohol then dry it really good with a heat gun tape off the bottom with some blue painters tape and pour an entire 2 ounce tube of seal all in the fount and let it dry really good for at least 4-5 days then remove the tape and you should be good to go 👍
Guess I’m in the minority. I like the Rayo best. Looks like it burned brighter too. All nice lanterns.
Oh yes the Rayo does burn brighter for sure 👍
