Installing coil overs on my corolla

  • POV of the Maxspeedingrods coilovers. It's too stiff for my preferences even though the dampening was turn all the way to soft. I had to put my lowering springs w/KYB Struts back on. If you're on the budget and don't mind stiff ride then it's a cheap upgrade. If you're going all out with good brands, then BC, Fortune Auto, and Tein Coilovers would be something to consider if available. Would I recommend these coilovers? The answer is no, I would not recommended.
    Thanks for watching

Haha! What a coincidence I just tried these this past week. I definalty don't recommend if you have to commute through bumpy roads (or even small hills), they feel waaay too stiff. Do get these if you only want them for cheap riding height adjustment for sure. I ended up getting some cheap economic Mostplus brand ones and they work just fine (no ride height adjustability btw) and feel waaay smoother. Thank you for the videos!

Hi, it's a universal Yakima bike rack. The bar are 48 inches and I believe the wind fairing is 40-45 inches or use a measuring tape to get the correct length. Good luck.

hey my friend, I got a corolla myself and it’s a 94’ but I was wondering, do I need to get anything else to support the coilovers? I ask bc I don’t know if anything else will fail or something if I just install coilovers. Thank you!

Hey man I actually have a quick question if you might know the answer. I also bought a set of maxspeedingrod coils for my corolla but I notice the top mount keeps moving. To the point where the rear wheels are now cambered a bit. Is there anyway I can lock them in place just so I can have the whole assembly in the rear straight. I know the top mounts are supposed to move and tilt but I don’t see anything to lock them in place

There should be 4 screws with Allen key heads. Those screws needs to be tightened down to prevent sliding.

No, the Maxspeedingrods are super bouncy even though it's turn max to soft. The front however is comfortable but the rear was changed to lowering springs. The suspension were kept with maxspeedingrods coilovers in the front and HnR lowering springs in the back with kyb struts. The ride was comfortable.
