Quick tidbit about Vulpera camp. You can bind your necrolord kidney hearthstone to your camp, and then move your camp, so as a vulpera necrolord you can have two separate hearths to anywhere in the world.
dang, this makes me want to play shadowlands on my vulpera mage just to get that. i know vulperas get a lot of crap, but their camp racial ability is so op. throw in the possibility of a vulpera mage and it becomes pretty dang amazing to play one.
Why would I want to teleport to Feralas? Simple: Feralas is my favorite zone in the game! But on a serious note, the Dreamway portals are really handy in getting to old content areas faster *without* having to head to Orgrimmar/Stormwind first. I even use it as a quick way to Orgrimmar simply by teleporting to Mount Hyjal and hopping into the portal to Orgrimmar from there. But I wholeheartedly agree that the Dreamway needs more portals, so I could use it to get to every continent in the world (I main a Feral druid, and druid is my favorite class) with just that one spell.
Fellow Druid with great taste! I concur! I use dreamwalk daily, but I do so much world exploration, and collections. Feralas, stv and the hinterlands are great money makers and easily accessible via the teleports to get around quickly. The hyjal portal is so useful with the storm wind port only a few yards away. I’d say we have the most shortcuts in the game cept for mages. It probably takes a Druid main to appreciate dreamwalk…but I’m okay with it being one of the more underground abilities 💯
Special mention to Last Relic of Argus. It's an archaeology item that'll teleport you "exactly where you want to go, as long as you're not too picky." It'll teleport you to a random location, out of a list of predetermined locations, mostly across Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. Why is this so great? First, it's just kinda fun to end up in a random location in the old world. Second, and this is big, 4 second cast time. You need to make a quick escape? This thing is perfect for that.
But that's not a class or race thing. Otherwise he would have mentioned the wormhole generators that engineers can make that will teleport them around various regions.
Story time… XD I was playing WoW with my partner and he wanted to head to northrend Dalaran and I had the secret Dalaran portal (when you click on it it just says Dalaran) I said “here you go! Im right behind you”. He walks through and the next thing I hear is a string of expletives as I’m laughing my arse off. He was playing a Paladin. He doesn’t trust my Portals anymore and insists I go first now. Which has backfired humorously a few times.
A cool thing with Astral Recall (similar to Covenant Hearthstones) is that it acts as a Hearthstone while saving an inventory space since it's a spell instead of an item :)
One bit about Dreamwalk I don't think you mentioned - you can use dreamwalk to get to the network of portals, but you can also simply walk through those portals to go right back to the hub.
If i remember correctly, one thing to mention about the shaman Astral recall is the fact that it was already on a 15 minutes CD back in Classic when the Hearthstone still had a 60 minutes CD. So having five ports back to OG instead of just one within 1 hour was quite nice. Or just throw out your HS and save the space in your bag.
Vulpera camp is really cool. I remember that i setted up a camp outside black rock spire, to try each day and farm the lanticore pet. It was a timesaver instead of teleporting to undercity and fly near BRS

Druids Dreamwalk knocks the competition out of the park. ·Dreamwalk is a small 1 min cooldown ·It has portals to multiple location across Azeroth (Great if you want to go to an old dungeon or raid or an enemy zone to gank people) ·Going through the portal to your order hall, it has the portal to dalaran WHICH has the portal to stormwind WHICH has the portal to every expansions portal. ·Dreamwalk can be used to get to the entrance of a dungeon quickly by using it inside the dungeon and using it again when you're at the Emerald Dreamway. (Extremely good if you're farming dungeons for mounts, transmogs, etc and you want to get to the entrance to reset it and run the dungeon again) ·It can be unlocked as early as level 10 by doing chromie time and choosing the legion expansion. ·Did I mention its only a 1 min cooldown for all these benefits? ·(The emerald dreamway has beautiful aesthetics and is wallpaper worthy) BONUS: Druids also have a toy called Nature's Beacon, giving them a random teleport on a 1 min cd.
I love the Druid Dreamealk! You can get near some raid/dungeon spots and it's super handy if you like questing and collecting in the old world. But the biggest benefit is you can use it to quickly leave an instance. If you use it again it will teleport you to pretty much right outside the instance so that's always handy. But you can also change maps and visit your order hall without resetting your return destination. This comes in super handy if you need quick access to like a mailbox. I needed some goblin gliders while in a high spot in Argus. A friend mailed me some, I used teleport, collected my mail in the order hall, then went and teleported back and I was right on the ledge where I started.
A good honorable mention could've been the toy that teleports you to the entrance of black temple by sacrificing a critter. The name of the toy is Fractured Necrolyte Skull. It can be used with the toy Critter Hand Cannon and use those critters for the sacrifice.
I love the Skull slander you put in for the warlock gate section. Also fun fact: you can target yourself to summon via the warlock gate, which will give you the accept/decline summon option for two minutes, which you can then use to go anywhere and instantly return to where you first summoned yourself. I use it all the time to respec during raid. I had no idea that the Dark Iron mole machine was a thing, wow. I can understand taking you all over Azeroth, but drilling to other timelines and planets oh wait is this a Gurren Lagann reference?
My dark iron mage is an engineer that has done all +20s and CMs and has all teleport toys... There is nowhere I can't go in n instant. I even have my Kara teleport staff.
I remember back in WotLK, I had a Warrior Engineer and I kept finding super creative ways to travel everywhere. There was an astonishing amount of way to travel.
I do think that the Vulpera Racial is stronger than any other teleport or the mole machine, simply because there are plenty of places, like raid entrances, farming spots, etc that no other teleport gets to, where you'd spend 60+ minutes.
Okay so not only does the mole machine let you tavel to different planet by digging underground, it also let's you tavel to a different planet AND back in time just by digging under-ground.... Incredible
Mage's "Teleport: Tol Barad" is pretty much a 5-in-one, as you can then take a portal direct to Stormwind's Earthshine, which has _more_ portals to Uldum, Hyjal, etc. It was much faster than flying to Uldum from Theramore for those BfA weeklies.

I miss the old death gate teleport, i used it to get to strat so i could farm for the rivendare charger, now the closest teleport would be IF or the portal to the dalaran crater
You can do the pet battles there and get an instant teleport. It does require quite a few levelled up pets but it is very convenient if you're able to do it. Most if not all of the let's required you can buy off the AH if need be. Xu-Fu pet guides has everything you need to know. Their are also teleports to the Deadmines, Black Rock Depths, Gnomergon, and Wailing Caverns.
A good use of dreamwalk is to change talents mid-raid. First you use dreamwalk and go into the druid order hall, which is a rest zone, to change talents, then use the ability again to go back to the raid.
Grear video as always :) I use the dreamwalk every time my hs is on cd. If you're ally you can go duskwood and it's right outside stormwind, and if you're horde you go hyjal and take the portal to orgrimmar. And the old world locations are bis if you farming smth
Monks can not leave the giant turtle until level 10. Therefore there is no reason to learn Zen Pilgrimage before level 11. However Zen Pilgrimage Return works at lvl 1 to return new players to the starting hub.
I would probably move dreamwalk up a spot or 2, there is another very good use for it, you can get just outside the dungeon or raid you use it in (or the nearest graveyard to it) by using it again in emerald dreamway. Good for old content if you need to reenter at different difficulties, and also good if you don't have a warlock in the raid group as you get the the druids to port out and summon :) Use it alot when running old content, find it more useful than mage portals
If you use Death Gate inside an instance and then use Death Gate again in Acherus, it will teleport you to the entrance of that instance instead of your previous location, making it useful for resetting instances.
Play a mage that has completed MoP, and WoD challenge mode Gold to unlock those dungeon teleports, combined with any other mythic+ dungeon teleport unlocks, race change to dark iron dwarf with engineering. Now set the hearthstone to a location of your choice, and you are now the ultimate world traveller.
My mage was the first WoW character in Vanilla, I didn’t know mages had the teleport spell because it wasn’t learned from the class trainer. Each city has a portal trainer and I didn’t know this. I watched another mage doing a teleport and wondered about it.
im no troll so i was in shock to realize other mages stacked there portals on top of each other :O. thats never once crossed my mind and didnt know this existed until this video
maybe you can make another video with different iterations of this. I main a war and I love collecting any and all things that give me a teleport. At times I think i might even have more then a standard mage. Everything from tabards that teleport you to the argent grounds or Tol Borad to special toys that allow you to sacrifice a critter to make a teleport. If you want you can even reach out to me and I can name the couple that ive collected. I have Jainas locket which even allows my allies to take the portal to old dalaran in wrath. I have several in my bags, and there are a couple that I forget about because they are now toys (eng included). Heck, you can even add the challenge portals from pandaria. The ones you could only get if you cleared that instance challenge mode on gold.
I actually didn’t know that Dark Iron Dwarves could learn different mole machine locations (to be fair I play Horde). They’d make a sick bank alt since cross-faction guilds will be a thing eventually.
There are so many toys that take you places, i really loved the evershifting mirror. Have to be level 40, btc timewalking vendor, but it lets you make a portal between draenor and outlands
I remember people putting the Theramore portal over the Wintergrasp portal in WOLK Dalaran. It was funny until it happened to you and you were stuck in the literal middle of nowhere with a very long flightpath back to a major city.
One thing you didn't mention is that warriors aren't the only ones with transportation to each legion zone from their class hall. Mages can also take portals to each legion zone from their class hall. So while mages can't teleport to the locations mentioned in numbers 2-9 on your list, their transportation options are just straight up better than a (not vulpera or dark iron) warrior's.
Vulpera camp is soooo good, it's really just amazing to have a second hearth anywhere, I would set up camp near a rare hunter pet I want to tame, and just hearth back to it everytime I want to check if it's up
Very niche but the version of Acherus in the Plaguelands is the fastest way for Alliance to get to the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms, which is really nice if you wanted to, say, do Stratholme for the Rivendare mount (Horde has Silvermoon/Undercity portals so northern Eastern Kingdoms is a lot easier to get to on Horde).
What about the old Recruit a Friend teleport? You used to be able to teleport to your friend while being in the same group. Not sure when it was added / removed though.. but where would you place that one? Cause it kind of is completely free of where you use it. Helped us while leveling back in the days
Hey yooooo, droppin by just to tell you, that I've got neutral rep standing with ''The Syndicate'' not sure if they're still around (those lowbie 20-42 mobs from Vanilla) located around Tarrens Mill and AB. I used to kill the guards at Ravenholt (I believe it's called) there were no vendors or what ever, but I used it for RP, disguising myself as a human and act as if I was their leader shrugs Might be an honorable mention at some point unless you've already talked about this rep
Dark Iron Dwarf Mage just sounds like overkill XD Being a Mage or a Dark Iron Dwarf alone give you ridiculous world presence on it's own. They are great pluses for being those classes or races though. I just wish the other racials could compare to these options. Most Racials aren't even 1% as useful as Mole Machines are. I wish they removed all of the profession ones, Let you pick a profession bonus when you make a character, and then gave each race 1 or 2 absolutely ridiculous racials that will be the decider if you want to pick the race or not. They could also completely remove racials and just give you a pool to choose your own as well. I feel like the only reason they still exist is because older MMO's had them. They currently just kinda feel bad so I think it's a sign of a needed change. I think they blame too many of their problems on them when they trivialized fights because only .05% of the community actually did that. Where the only true problem to deal with is the toxicity of guilds forcing players to pay money for a race change for those abilities. A lot of people will never change their race or level a new main to replace their old main. This is due to character attachment and is the main reason I thought up the racial pool idea. It lets you play whatever race you want and have whatever racial combinations you want. They just have to differentiate between major racials and minor racials like the game currently does.
With the death knight gate there is as of now a portal to Dalran in the necropolises so you dont even have to fly I use it all the time if I need to get back to ogramar because it has a short cool down
It's a shame Blizzard didn't change Astral Recall for Shaman to take them back to the Maelstrom (Order Hall). Heck they totally forgot about Shamans and the Order hall entirely back in Legion. We had a freaking spell that would have us return there anytime instead of that shit Portal near the Flightmaster in Dalaran which suuuuucks.
Vulpera mage is secretly OP for convenience. All the mage portals + food plus the Vulpera gigabackpack & their ability to pop down a hearth spot wherever they want to. Travel & questing have never been easier. Plus the Legion frisbee looks really good with the Vulpera model.
Yeah, who would teleport people to their deaths? Who would do that to low-level people who are asking for a portal in trade chat? Who would do that and then pretend they casted the wrong portal by mistake only to do it again and see them fall to their death in front of them? Certainly not me.
Dreamwalk has plenty of good portals. Grizzly Hills is a much better place to access a lot of old WotlK dungeons and raids than Dalaran, Feralas is good for Onyxia's Lair. But the best one is the Hinterlands portal, one of the only teleports to the northern part of Eastern Kingdoms for Alliance. Which is also why it sucks that the DK Death Gate no longer takes you there.
Dream walk to Mt Hyjal and go to Org/SW from the portals there. One less loading screen and shorter distance from the dream portal to the city portal, with the trade off that it takes you to the Cata portals not the new portal hub. This might not be a trade off as the Cata hub is outside you can immediately fly making for quicker access to the city.
9:00 return also takes 10 sec, its just the tooltip that dosent show it ^^ oh gush having 27 monks gives the weirdest knowlage about small monk things lol
why would you have hearth in covenant sanctum this patch. Haven has everything you need apart from mission table which are useless anyway and even has insta portal to Oribos

maybe you can make another video with different iterations of this. I main a war and I love collecting any and all things that give me a teleport. At times I think i might even have more then a standard mage. Everything from tabards that teleport you to the argent grounds or Tol Borad to special toys that allow you to sacrifice a critter to make a teleport. If you want you can even reach out to me and I can name the couple that ive collected. I have Jainas locket which even allows my allies to take the portal to old dalaran in wrath. I have several in my bags, and there are a couple that I forget about because they are now toys (eng included). Heck, you can even add the challenge portals from pandaria. The ones you could only get if you cleared that instance challenge mode on gold.
I actually didn’t know that Dark Iron Dwarves could learn different mole machine locations (to be fair I play Horde). They’d make a sick bank alt since cross-faction guilds will be a thing eventually.
There are so many toys that take you places, i really loved the evershifting mirror. Have to be level 40, btc timewalking vendor, but it lets you make a portal between draenor and outlands

I remember people putting the Theramore portal over the Wintergrasp portal in WOLK Dalaran. It was funny until it happened to you and you were stuck in the literal middle of nowhere with a very long flightpath back to a major city.

One thing you didn't mention is that warriors aren't the only ones with transportation to each legion zone from their class hall. Mages can also take portals to each legion zone from their class hall. So while mages can't teleport to the locations mentioned in numbers 2-9 on your list, their transportation options are just straight up better than a (not vulpera or dark iron) warrior's.
Vulpera camp is soooo good, it's really just amazing to have a second hearth anywhere, I would set up camp near a rare hunter pet I want to tame, and just hearth back to it everytime I want to check if it's up
That vulpera camp seems like a nightmare lag to be a thing.
Very niche but the version of Acherus in the Plaguelands is the fastest way for Alliance to get to the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms, which is really nice if you wanted to, say, do Stratholme for the Rivendare mount (Horde has Silvermoon/Undercity portals so northern Eastern Kingdoms is a lot easier to get to on Horde).
I miss when Acherus was in the Plaguelands. Made getting to Stratholme so much quicker for farming the mount.

What about the old Recruit a Friend teleport? You used to be able to teleport to your friend while being in the same group. Not sure when it was added / removed though.. but where would you place that one? Cause it kind of is completely free of where you use it. Helped us while leveling back in the days

Hey yooooo, droppin by just to tell you, that I've got neutral rep standing with ''The Syndicate'' not sure if they're still around (those lowbie 20-42 mobs from Vanilla) located around Tarrens Mill and AB. I used to kill the guards at Ravenholt (I believe it's called) there were no vendors or what ever, but I used it for RP, disguising myself as a human and act as if I was their leader shrugs Might be an honorable mention at some point unless you've already talked about this rep
Dark Iron Dwarf Mage just sounds like overkill XD Being a Mage or a Dark Iron Dwarf alone give you ridiculous world presence on it's own. They are great pluses for being those classes or races though. I just wish the other racials could compare to these options. Most Racials aren't even 1% as useful as Mole Machines are. I wish they removed all of the profession ones, Let you pick a profession bonus when you make a character, and then gave each race 1 or 2 absolutely ridiculous racials that will be the decider if you want to pick the race or not.
They could also completely remove racials and just give you a pool to choose your own as well. I feel like the only reason they still exist is because older MMO's had them. They currently just kinda feel bad so I think it's a sign of a needed change. I think they blame too many of their problems on them when they trivialized fights because only .05% of the community actually did that. Where the only true problem to deal with is the toxicity of guilds forcing players to pay money for a race change for those abilities.
A lot of people will never change their race or level a new main to replace their old main. This is due to character attachment and is the main reason I thought up the racial pool idea. It lets you play whatever race you want and have whatever racial combinations you want. They just have to differentiate between major racials and minor racials like the game currently does.
With the death knight gate there is as of now a portal to Dalran in the necropolises so you dont even have to fly I use it all the time if I need to get back to ogramar because it has a short cool down
It's a shame Blizzard didn't change Astral Recall for Shaman to take them back to the Maelstrom (Order Hall).
Heck they totally forgot about Shamans and the Order hall entirely back in Legion. We had a freaking spell that would have us return there anytime instead of that shit Portal near the Flightmaster in Dalaran which suuuuucks.

All the mage portals + food plus the Vulpera gigabackpack & their ability to pop down a hearth spot wherever they want to.
Travel & questing have never been easier. Plus the Legion frisbee looks really good with the Vulpera model.

Yeah, who would teleport people to their deaths? Who would do that to low-level people who are asking for a portal in trade chat? Who would do that and then pretend they casted the wrong portal by mistake only to do it again and see them fall to their death in front of them? Certainly not me.
Dreamwalk has plenty of good portals. Grizzly Hills is a much better place to access a lot of old WotlK dungeons and raids than Dalaran, Feralas is good for Onyxia's Lair. But the best one is the Hinterlands portal, one of the only teleports to the northern part of Eastern Kingdoms for Alliance. Which is also why it sucks that the DK Death Gate no longer takes you there.

Dream walk to Mt Hyjal and go to Org/SW from the portals there. One less loading screen and shorter distance from the dream portal to the city portal, with the trade off that it takes you to the Cata portals not the new portal hub. This might not be a trade off as the Cata hub is outside you can immediately fly making for quicker access to the city.
