The ziploc baggie holds a bunch of spare strikers, but the plastic case holds one on the outside and one on the inside, where it is kept dry if the orange case gets wet. So the orange case holds two striker strips and the baggie is replacement strips that come with the kit.

1. Pocket shot.
2. Waterproof match case with striker and storm proof flare matches (wind resistant). 2-3 different types.
3. Para-cord bracelet with flint and steel.
4. 2 types of hand pull manual 'chain saws' both with chain, not wound wire snare type.
5. Fire Piston (pressure/friction fire starter)
6.Lifestraw single/solo (water filter efficacy varies by model and I'm not sure about microbe filtration or not. Tablets would improve water safety and this could be physical filter after if you wanted to be super safe.
7. Fuel tablet mini folding camp stove.(Colman/lMF or generic)and extra tablets.
8. Magnesium bar with long flint bar and steel striker(although knife is needed to scrape) and starts fire on wet fuel because magnesium burns at 5200f. Note: needs to be lit by high temp flint spark. A lighter won't light magnesium even when very very fine. Block will last you lifetime though.
This if for anyone who want to know what things he showed are. Doing job for him.

He is good at demonstrating isn't he? I also would like the source of the gadgets. Those matches were something else. The plunger char cloth lighter was pretty neat. I had seen them before but made of brass. Makes me wonder now if a plastic injection syringe with a blocked nozzle would work too: must try it with char cloth! Scraping the magnesium block with the sharp blade edge will blunt it. Using the back of the blade wouldn't. Thanks CrazyRussianHacker!
