07:26 - That's pretty much a pre historic kiln design. Input low, outtake high.
I used to dig a horizontal hole in a steep hill, and then dig a vertical hole to that on top, before putting a fire at the bottom. Then put a couple of half rotten logs (from trees you can just kick and they fall) on each side and make a shelter with fir twigs to camp under or inside of. Super cozy :)
