@@theFLCLguy It’s a really really simple game to understand, to put it really simple, bowler is aiming to hit the wicket, batter is aiming to either get runs (after hitting the ball you run to the other line before the fielders have a chance to throw the ball back to the wicket, if the wickets knocked off whilst batter is running they’re out) or hit it hard enough to get a 6, every run counts as 1 run if you get a 6 it counts as 6 there’s a batter each side so if you get 1 run for example the other person would then be batting ect, if the balls caught after batter hits it without it touching the floor the batter is out.

I am from the UK, 45 years old and still have absolutely no idea what Cricket is all about. From what I can gather some chap wearing two small mattresses attached to their feet, attempts to hit a ball 3 feet every so often whilst you do your very best to stay awake. This comes from a guy that finds darts and snooker rather exciting. And no I have absolutely no idea how the score works either. It's also the only sport that I am aware of, who's length of play is measured in days not hours or minutes. However it does make fantastic ASMR for those struggling with sleep.

The game is hard to understand because it has lot of complicated rules, but once you get it then cricket is one of the most entertaining game.
