    Wow! what a lot of information to digest! I love the modularity aspect of it. For those of us that want it all but can't afford it all at the same time. I will say, I never knew how much I liked the dove tailed rear-end before I saw this one without it. JMHO but the squared off rear-end makes it look a little "industrial". Can't wait to start my journey. Keep putting out these wonderful videos!

    • @rvhaulers
      @rvhaulers  Před rokem

      Good point about the narrowing of the bed at the tail section. The engineers and I went around and around quite a bit, and unfortunately the system doesn't lend itself to being fabricated with that angle. What was key in my mind was to ensure the engineering was sound, strong, and reliable.
      Remember this is just an alternative. It certainly has a different look than we are used to. There are positives and negatives between the CANBed and the steel beds. YOU GET TO PICK! Every one of my RVHaulers is custom, and designed to meet your budget, visuals, and function.

      @@rvhaulers I would need to know the model and manufacturer of the mic and receiver. A very common receiver has 3 buttons on the bottom. One of them is labeled gain and refers to "0", "-12" and "-24" db. Check the operator's manual. You may be set at "0" db and need it to be lowered to "-12" or "-24" db. It may just say db. Also, placing the mic over your chest sternum adds a bass sound to your voice. Lowering the mic placement will give you a more natural sound. Some people like the sound, but for people that are hard of hearing, the lac of high frequencies from your voice, make you hard to understand. I think some of your viewing audience may be up in age. I have been an audio engineer and television editor for 45 years.

    I am interested in the rust proof Canbed. I have a 2013 Kenworth T700 with tandem axles. I would not need a 5th wheel trailer hutch as I would be towing using a bumper hitch for a travel trailer. I would want ramps to be able to load my vehicle from the very rear.

      Hello There RV lifers! I am delighted to say we can move our RVHaulers through our production schedule quite a bit faster now when folks choose our CANBed option. They are much faster to produce and get on the road for my clients (compared to our steel beds). I can build a bed in as little as one week. The conversion and prep can take around 3 weeks. Overall, we can get one finished in a month.
      Also, this has made our "wait-time" overall much shorter too! I can get you into a production slot in just a few weeks now!
      Please note that if you add other fancy features and customizations, it can take a bit longer. Things like generators, camera systems, custom graphics, and painting can add a few more days to a build.

      The engineering is very specific and does not allow us to make changes that might change the strength or capabilites of the CANBed. By counter sinking the heads, we remove some material. My New York engineers were careful. We even have torque specs for all the bolts.
