Thank you for this video. It’s what I needed! I’ve got Pop tiles in my bathroom and a few have come up at the corners or slowing shifted. I have to replace a few but noticed that some of the glue has stuck to the ceramic tiles. Figured it wouldn’t be so easy as to just replace the tile. Got to put some elbow grease in before replacing new ones 😩 Couldn’t find a video that could help until I found yours🙌🏽💛

Good video. If you're renting, good quality peel-and-stick vinyl tiles/planks can look pretty good for 1-3 years if you mop up all wet spills quickly. Then they start to gap between tiles like yours did, and if you have kids/dogs tracking dirt in, the corners start to lift up. You're right, it removes pretty easily, whereas glued-down sheet vinyl is an abosolute bear to remove (worth it to hire someone for that). Peel-and-stick tile floors may survive for years in a bathroom, still looking nice. But they're not good for a home owner in high traffic area like a kitchen. Better to go with LVP or sheet vinyl (good for about 10 years) anywhere that sees a lot of activity.

I will move at the end of the month. And my new appartment has these really ugly floortiles in half of the Appartment. But the appartment was so nice, big and has a decent rent so i couldn't say no after months of searching xx. And i was thinking about using Vinyl floors for the kitchen but was so scared, what if i ruin the tiles underneed, or i can't get them off. But this gave me confidence :)

Sooo, I have a home that had peel and stick installed years ago, likely during the early 90s/late 80s.
The adhesive used back then isn't even close to this. If *only* it was this easy to pull up.
I've got a tile chisel and a hammer, but even so, I'll probably have to use a belt sander to even everything out when I'm done
