at this point internet crashing should not be unexpected anymore. but it is pretty rare for both players to crash. I guess we can say the battle lasted till the end of time.
@@ItzIngenious nah bro, he had that in the bag. if he somehow messed it up it would actually be something for him to joke about at the end of the video, so it wouldn't make sense for him to choose to give out this inconclusive end.
@@daotrongkhanh1205 Sure, but since I don't know what province Simp lives in, I figure we play it safe and just upgrade the whole country. It's not efficient, but it's the only way to be sure we get the job done.
this might be one of my favorite videos on here. really cool and balanced challenge, really smart cheap shot, double plot twist at the end. you really went all in on this one huh
Yeah but if the knight doesn’t take the bishop (since it is now guarded) then there’d be no move to the right next turn, which ends the video Edit: nvm I'm blind, wrote this at 3am and didn't see bishop c1
This is one of the best challange videos on the channel. It really lead itself to some really interesting gameplay. I kinda wanna challange myself to play this, as well.
bros internet connection must be made of bamboo and go straight through a panda exhibit cause man how is it possible that your internet crashes every second video
Ok, it has been long enough now. I am obligated by intergalactic laws to let you know that there is an ear piercing screech at the very end of the outro.
2:00 Ra2 as a straight move would give Rxb2 as a rightwards move to save the bishop, no? ETA: yeah it's already in the comments, I didn't look to be honest 😂
So why is it that moving the queen diagonally to the right and forward is considered going right but capturing with a pawn isn't allowed because you're forced to make a straight move?
I feel diagonal moves should qualify as both the left/right and stright, as you piece has moved one of the required directions, otherwise your knights sort of can't advance forward at all.
wait at 1:58 you could've just moved your rook on a1 to a2, thus being a straight move, and then even if he took with the knight, you can take back with the rook because that's a move to the right, which is the correct next move
I do not know if such a varient exists; chess but you take two turns at a time, leaving the second moved piece or pawn to be also captured from where it moved from. Every piece or pawn is subject to en passant.
Everybody's talking about Ra2, but I think it might blunder the queen. If you defend the bishop, the knight doesn't take it, but might sacrifice itself with Ne3, forking the queen, and the queen can't move to the right to evade and nothing can capture the knight moving rightward. I have no doubt a player rated 100 would blunder a knight in one move to attack the queen.
Honestly? I usually don't care for disconnection videos, but tou managed to get a queen and a rook for two rooks at the end position of a really hard challenge, so I will too count this as a win.
2:03 there was Ra2 defending the bishopl Edit: I just realized four other comments said this exact thing😢 (I didn’t look at the other comments before commenting this.)
It worked out fine, but I'm a little surprised you didn't castle as one of your "right" moves. Were you trying to keep your king's movement options open?
Come on, y'all! 2:00 Ra2 blunders the video for every move that isn't Nxb2. SIMP'S BETTER THAN HIS VIEWERS! UPD: Bc1, as pointed in the comment here. But backward move for one square is something a coward would do. Therefore, the point still stands: SIMP'S BETTER THAN HIS VIEWERS!
@jaideepshekhar4621 Another good point! Although it blunders a horsey as far as opponent concerned, and you might think "who even plays like that", but it's 100-rated chess, and we already had way more unexpected things :D
That Pre-move cheap shot was amazing
I'm definitely using that later
The sheer gigachad energy in that premove gamble was enough to decimate the wifi of both you and your opponent
This was a proper 100-rated game hahaha
Not really man, the opponent is either smurfing or having the best of his life
i agree with ahmad
This guy is definitely not a 100, maybe not very high but still a smurf at this rank
at this point internet crashing should not be unexpected anymore. but it is pretty rare for both players to crash. I guess we can say the battle lasted till the end of time.
I don’t think the opponent’s internet crashed tbh. He probably raged quit from that cheap shot.
Maybe the internet connection of the website crashed?
he lives in fucking vietnam
of course his internet is going to crash often
I bet he messed up the rule, and just quit the game. Don’t expect much from TTS channels.
@@ItzIngenious nah bro, he had that in the bag. if he somehow messed it up it would actually be something for him to joke about at the end of the video, so it wouldn't make sense for him to choose to give out this inconclusive end.
Simps internet is two Pringle cans connected with a bit of string and someone yelling binary into it.
I guess his binary yeller went on a coffee break.
this is now my new favorite comment
Underrated comment
Okay, which of us viewers is rich enough to upgrade Vietnam's entire communications network so Simp's games don't crash anymore?
My internet in Vietnam is very stable. I guess it's due to Simp's location in a remote province, not in a big city.

FOR REAL
I legit cheered when he said his internet also crashed!!!!!
Perfect timing for a dinner.
2:00 You could play Ra2, that would've been a straight move, enabling a move to the right next turn.
I don't know if delaying development its good in this game rules...
rare chess simp blunder!

Yeah, all those pesky crashes.

Chess Simp lives in Vietnam so their internet might not be so stable there

That actually was unexpected. But I was expecting not to expect something, so it doesn't count.
1:59 the bishop wasn't already dead. Could've done Ra2 which defends the bishop, and if knight takes, then Rxb2 is a trade while following the rules
yeh but if his opponent didn't take he wouldn't have a move to the right on his next turn, thus losing the challenge.

Can't believe you paid your ISP to act in this video so your internet could "go down"
Truly a roller coaster of emotions. The plot twist was crazy!
Ok, it has been long enough now. I am obligated by intergalactic laws to let you know that there is an ear piercing screech at the very end of the outro.
2:02 "straight move --> my bishop is already dead"
not really, Ra2 would defend the bishop
1:59 you could've played Ra2, just in time to save your bishop.
Edit: I just realized there are three other comments saying the exact same thing.
At least the internet crashed at a good time.
this ending dude
I certainly did not expect all of those plot twists.
So far simp's strongest enemy has been his own internet.
2:00 Ra2 as a straight move would give Rxb2 as a rightwards move to save the bishop, no?

Simp should buy a good internet connection first!
I think his ISP is F**, I live in the same country and that ISP always slow for no reason in the evening
2:00 you could have pushed your chariot to a2 and on the next move take the horse because you have to move right

2:00 why not Ra2 defending the bishop
Why did my brain just go "2 3 1!!!" It isn't even the same sequence
That trstosterone at 3:19 lol
So why is it that moving the queen diagonally to the right and forward is considered going right but capturing with a pawn isn't allowed because you're forced to make a straight move?
100 rated chess, but you have good internet, your internet must not go down the entire game, else the video ends
2:08 Not going Ra2 is criminal
I feel like you should just play a new match when your internet crashes
1:57 you could move your rook to a2 and if he captures the bishop you would have been able to capture back
*Something completely expected happened

Technically, "straight" would be any move other than a knight
