That is an excommunicated bishop.
maybe heathen or heretic bishop!!
@@wmski I think you nailed it. This should stick.
I would rather call It an 'Altar boy'
Agad should use this once as a Title😂😂
@@Megaminddominator #suggestion
5:03 "This bishop is not even a pawn. It is less than a pawn"
I cracked so much LOL
Share it in a chat room.
That series of rook moves showed an insanely persistent way of attacking 😅
Being a Firouzja fan has been super tough for a while, so good to see him expressing himself in classical too!
honestly being a firouzja fan is tough 😄
He had just defeated both magnus and hikaru to win two super tournaments ,also won the saint Louis rapid and blitz @@AbdulhamidFadeshire
@@AmanKhan-je9ss his problem has always being lack of consistency
@@AmanKhan-je9ss i know😁 but he had a horrible Sinquefeld Cup, Candidates, up and down Wijk, lost a ton of rating and ranking...glad he's coming back to the top in the past few months
When Alireza is in top shape he is an absolute monster. His ability to navigate and create complicated positions is nearly unmatched
he is so boring. i havent seen him win any significant games, or understand why the draw and praise.
I agree. He always creates fireworks on the board
Yes. Please keep letting us know the head-to-head score.
They often mention it in the live coverage at the start of a round, if you're interested. I suppose a website must also exist that has all that info, but I searched and wasn't able to find that
@@guillaumelagueyte1019
It would be really helpful if someone names the website
@@guillaumelagueyte1019 Yeah. That's right. But the reason for me to watch Agad is that he summarizes everything. I can't afford to watch live stream. So.....
Don't apologize for resting and living your life, man, we love you anyway. It's all good.
Alireza will be world champion one day
Another round of farming 2400s to make the candidates?
Who this time ?@@goose5462
He is now 2752 playing all top rated players @@goose5462
Yeah but first he has to win candidates where he becomes everyone's punching bag.
@@utkarshchouhan7612 stop spreading nonsense,Alireza left chess for one year to persue fashion,of course he was not ready for the candidates, but he has gained his beast form and no one can stop him not even Magnus once he is on form,he is a true genius
Even Yasser remembered Steinitz's windmill concerning this Alireza rook.
what do you mean "even Yasser"? that guy's first to know any chess related story or motive
@@rohan1864
I see you been rigorous with semantics, l was alluding to agad's reference to the Steinitz vs von bardeleben game yesterday , which Yasser had already referenced during the anish vs alireza game. There was also another sideline of Yasser's yesterday on what would have been the result of the the wcc between rjf and kochino. According to kochinoi himself.
Magnus carlsen:he is still the most talented amongst them but he hasn't figured it out .he will come back and be one of the greatest players of all time
when he said??
Nice to see Alireza back on fire.
Funnily enough, Anish has never defeated me either…
i was literally waiting for this commentary. i even serached agadmator 20 times expecting this commentary
that is a zombishop on b6
Got both pause-the-video moments instantly, pretty much the only time I've gotten all the guess-the-moves in an agadmator video instantaneously. Either these were on the easy side, or I'm actually learning something from all these vids.
Agadmator: "The only game from round five of this year's Sinquefield that did not end in a draw"
Anish Giri: *nervously twitching in the background*
Alireza in his interview said he didn't see the last move which is rook sacrifice in f7, after rook to f3
Non-playable bishop
I like Anish, but his form hasn't been fantastic of late. I mean, you don't lose to Hans if you're playing great.
if a bishop can move two diagonals then the bishop worse than a pawn can be just called a shop?
He might have missed it, but he didnt missing the other winning moves.
Alireza Feroujza is one of the best chess players in this World !! Go champ win this tournament and good luck
This bishop is unmovable property, something like real estate but without value.
" to know what i'm talking about you guys think Steinitz versus (some german name) " ... Agadmator IS king of deadpan chess humor
9:52 that queen and knight variation is beautiful
The term is "Non-Unleashable Bish."
Frozen, stoned, entangled bishop.
Well, 6 draws in a head-to-head involving anish means Anish got a win 6 out of 7 times
When it's convenient to have the pawns isolated. Pass pawns though, but I still find unique advantages to any isolated pawns. Not only pas pawns, for they still can easily draw attention elsewhere that sometimes should not be ignored.
So why this isn't a bravest rook in the new century or at least on this channel, that rook deserved so much more appreciation
I am so distracted by that handsome pup 😂
what happened to timestamps in your videos?!!
"Defrocked Bishop?"
THE CHOSEN ONE !
Alireza firouzja is genius
that bishop is an altar boy
In this game, Black's Bishop has adopted a United Nations' Status, in that he only exists, with no role nor purpose.
That’s an impotent bishop 🤷🏻♂️

Nana Dzagnidze vs Vaishali R
Women's Fide Grand Prix Round 8
Glad i found the winning move after a long time on ur channel . Easy one though as there were few forcing moves. Keep d good work gng btw
Anish giri is the 2700 plus punching bag for all the GMs
6:44 - I've heard those bishops referred to as block headed bishops - with ❣️ from Montana
I never seen Pragg win a super tournament in classical
Love the channel!!!
Petrified bishop
Hastag not working 😂
I'd like to see more games where Magnus loses.
Gukesh vs firouja for the wprld championship will change lives.
since when there is added time in classical chess??
The NPC bishop
Literally c6 and the bishop reroutes via d8...
Drunk bishop
Bernie the bishop
For once I was able to solve all the pause-the-video moments. Up next -- Titled Tuesday!...
... But only in my dreams.
I concur
Yes agad hindsight is 20/20
شطرنج در حال حاظر ماشینی شده است .اما علیرضا آن را زیبا بازی می کنند .او همیشه روش های زیبا پیدا می کنند .بازی ها او الکلاسیکو است .من از شطرنج با او لذت میبرم
I love how you say the chosen one.
Alireza is a heavy, heavy bruxer. His anterior teeth have always looked a little short to me, but now they're looking extremely short. He needs a good dentist to make him a bruxing appliance before what's left of his teeth is unsalvageable.
Dude! Seriously?😂
As someone said before
He owns the knight.
CRUSHED
#Suggestions:- gukesh vs alireza that was a wild game
A bishop worse than a pawn should be called a vegetable.
Love the channel. I do have a criticism. I think it would make for a better viewing experience if you cleaned up some of the visuals and made more room for the chess board itself.
If only there were no squeaky shoes during the Candidates... Imagine...
Useless bishop = grey pawn. A color that’s not on the board
"a Bishnot"
Found both pause video moves. Someone ps tell Magnus I'm outside.
If Alireza want to win this tournament for sure he need to beat wesley tomorrow
Why does everyone beat Anish like he is 2000 rated 😒
Bravo Fifi, bravo Antonio
I'm always one of the people who just want to enjoy the show
ALIREZA'S JENIUS AND TALENT IS UNDENIABLE🎉🎉
as demonstrated by him consistently missing the best moves.
See his other games.
@@goose5462 focus on indian players bottling all tournaments instead of eating Alireza shit
Why isn't Magnus here? These are the top 15 players in the world
Nice game thanks for sharing
All these people talking about Alireza becoming world champion someday after a few good games when he gets Dog walked in every Candidates tournament he plays lmao.
This Gypsy King is amazing I analyze the game and if you proceed with the capture on G6 when he says that it's the best option it's not true.
How about..Ivanchuk-kasparov bishop ...or 'we got a Kaschuck91 bishop in this game'.
@agadmator You could call such a piece (less than a pawn) a "moribund" piece (nearly dead).
Why did Ding resign in his game against Alireza?
A losing Bishop. A Lishop.
chandler bing style :D
The knight was trousered as they say in Russia
Wait, did I miss the story of your finder? What 'appened?
It's a "Dirty Bishop".
It should be called Pishop or Bawn 😂
I miss mate in one or mate in two all the time......my broken screens can attest to that
Alireza will win this Tournament and back to his ELO 2800
He has a long way to go to 2800
@@hosseinmoradi8490 he’s gonna have to win a few tournaments to get back to 2800. But I’d love to see that happen nonetheless
We could call such a bishop a mendicant monk perhaps?
Future world champion
8:51 white knight to e7?
If white knight e7, black knight goes back to f6, and defends the g8 square so there's no use in playing that. White knight is stronger on f5, so better keep it there
@@stevie47 It was just an alternate line that didn't appear to have much for white.
After Ne7...Nf6 holds it together for black...
@@stevie47 Man I always miss something
a captures on b3 but didn’t say en passant 😔
This is the worst bishop after Kasparov’s bishop against Ivancuk :)
A "hemmed in" bishop can have many names...
Depending on the pawn structure...
A "hemmed in" bishop can be considered to be:
- "Loaded cannon"...
- "Caged dragon"...
- "Near sited"... ^^ (No... I didn't spell "sighted" wrong)
You may use the terms above^ if you like... ^^
Sorry about that.
Can´t believe Pragg didn´t win his game, he was in a real winning position :/
I bet it's probably all the Gucci that got to him
A Bishawn ? A Pishop ?
Round 1 alireza vs fabi
Alireza flexing
#suggestion Ihor samunenkov vs harsh suresh
I found the two pause-the-video moments and I’m overjoyed 🥹
