  • Spicy Lemongrass Fried Rice Recipe by Su’s Cookbook
    (Nasi Goreng Serai)
    Ingredients:
    1 bowl cooked rice
    1-2 eggs
    Chicken fillet, marinate with some fish sauce
    Long beans, diced
    Soy sauce & Fish sauce
    Dry chilli paste
    2-3 lemongrass stalks, crushed
    Coriander leaves
    Oil for cooking
    Use a food processor to chop these:
    3 fresh red chillies
    2-3 red cili padi
    3 cloves of garlic
    3 kaffir lime leaves
    5-6 lemongrass (inner white part only)
    Steps:
    1. Soft scramble the egg and set it aside.
    2. Add some oil to the pan, sauté the chopped ingredients. Adjust the amount accordingly.
    3. Now, add in the chicken, chilli paste and long beans. Allow it to cook, 2 mins.
    4. Then, add in the rice, soy sauce. Mix everything together. Also, add in the scrambled egg and coriander leaves.
    5. Toss everything together again and turn off the flame. Enjoy!
