- www.playbill.com/video Adapted from a selection of Tolstoy's epic "War and Peace," Dave Malloy's electro-pop opera "Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812" takes shape in Kazino, a performance space that is more supper club than theatrical venue. Eschewing the idea of theatre-in-the-round for "theatre everywhere," the actors use every available part of the house. Here, cast member Brittain Ashford gives a tour of the unusual space and performs "Sonya Alone" along with musical director Or Matias on piano. The original cast recording of "Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812" is now available on Sh-K-Boom & Ghostlight Records.

big mood
Still crying as well
Still crying…
She's so emotive and I love her voice so much!
To me, this is one of the most memorable songs, and she sings it well.
Her voice is so unique and beautiful! I love this song!
God I've missed this show so much, rewatching this all these months later makes me burst into tears 😭😭😭
Beautiful song. A beautiful voice with song that wll not leave me.
Just saw this today, it was incredible and one of the best plays I've seen at the A.R.T.

I am exited that I will see the show 👍😁❤️
oh my god mom
just kills me. beauty.
The best song
Those 5 dislikes are anatole(on two accounts), Dolovkhov, helene, and natasha who forgot to take her dislike away
Dolokhov loved Sofya Aleksandrovna; he asked her to marry him. Two accounts for Helene, maybe?
Her Sophia voice sounds SO fucking different from every other voice she has, like she puts on this lip-heavy, masqued voice and just disappears into her character, I actually kind of imagine that if she pursued s pop career she wouldn't put her top teeth forward in that iconic way.
