Please never change this format. Its perfect. Its untouchable
Needs Karen Carney or Eni Aluko to be complete
🤣🤣🤣
These four 💯
It's so much better when they don't have a guest. I like their chemistry, banter, and listening to them chatting about football and their careers. We don't need to hear what a boxing promoter has to say, have a separate podcast for that.
EDIT: Also, Animals is a top quality album, OP.
Maybe have a graphic we can see rather than a flip chart tho no?
The way Wrighty can warm up Keane is my favourite thing about this series. I love seeing how much of a soft spot Roy has for him.
Fully agree. You almost wonder what happened that Keane so clearly has a special place in his heart for Wright.
@@MichielFrackersWright is a great person and a very respectable man. It doesn't have to be anything special happening.
You can see he's a tough guy but his shyness comes through when he's dying to laugh 😂 he goes a little bit red and smiles holding himself from bursting into laughter 😂 great 👍 Roy k is , from a Liverpool fan, always had RESPECT for Roy 😂🎉
@@MichielFrackers - I think a big part of it is that Wrighty doesn’t shy away from just treating him like a normal person. All of the other pundits seem to sort of walk on eggshells around him, even when they tease him. But Wrighty just treats him like a genuine friend and like he’d treat anyone else, and it’s disarming.
Ian Wright seems like one of the nicest people ever. Hard not to like him
The vibes in this video are so good, it’s nice to a see a football show that doesn’t seem overly manufactured
Or over argumentative & debate for sake of headlines
The chemistry from these 4 guys is incredible. I can watch them all day.
I couldn’t say it any better 👍

The “behind the scenes” and authentic bits are brilliant. LOVE IT!
Keane is a Gem. Just gotta luv his unfiltered takes. Refreshing
And the Cork accent. So bloody musical.
You can see ROY is a tough guy but his shyness comes through when he's dying to laugh 😂 he goes a little bit red and smiles holding himself from bursting into laughter 😂 great 👍 Roy k is , from a Liverpool fan, always had RESPECT for Roy 😂
Thankfully it wasn’t an all English panel, at least he was able to remind them of the realities.
Keane 100% right Pickford is crap. Let’s call a spade a spade.
Roy’s reaction is priceless at 28:00 😂
England is like A Rolls Royce being driven by a Learner Driver!!! 🙄

Two kicks from winning the Euros. Second only to Sir Alf .

Crazy to think that Ian Wright is 60 years old!
4:37 Roy saying what the rest of us non-English were thinking
Ok but the England team is genuinely stacked, so what's wrong with pegging them as favourites?
@@FamousMovieScenes09 I don’t disagree, but football isn’t played on paper, that’s all Roy is saying. I don’t think they have the keeper or centre backs to win a tournament. Thankfully 😝
Remember how good the memories of watching Wales in major international tournaments were? You will never experience that again in your lifetime. Chin up x
@@tonnaboy10we forgive you because you voted leave 🏴💪
I am English and think exactly that. Our syle of play is tedious and horrible to watch. We've got two decent players in kane and Bellingham which will not be enough with the idiotic style of play Southgate chooses to play.
Overlap has become my favorite football show recently. I don’t agree with them all the time, but I appreciate their honesty, their authenticity and being real. These days, to promote a league you beed to have these shows beside the football matches. Great show. Well done.
Carragher is a funny man makes the group chemistry way better
When Keane and Wrighty both repeated each others answers I was in tears
The best footy chat show about. All four lads are so relaxed and friendly. Wrighty and Keano are the best
I'm laid here with a jaw infection waiting for an operation in so much pain and seeing the overlap flash up on my phone has brought a smile to my face ☺️
Hope it heals quickly for you.
I hope you are ok.

It's so great to see you guys! There's not many great things that's happening right now, but this is one them!!
This is the most watchable content. They could talk about anything, it would still be entertaining. Keep up the great work!
The chemistry between these 4 is amazing. Never change this!!!!
Chemestry, banter and good vibes.
I love this! Long may it continue!❤
Great content.
Shocked none of them had Maddison as the 3rd midfielder with Rice & Bellingham.. plays in tight areas, takes the ball under pressure, technically equal (or better than) most players that the big sides possess.
Is it because he is injured? I too was surprised they didn't mention Maddison.
From the behind the scenes banter to the full thing, this is a perfect format.
This is fast becoming my favourite football related whatever. Great group dynamic.
Portugal being overlooked their squad is unreal
As per
Ronaldo holding them back
This is the golden generation of Portugal. vamos voltar a conquistar a europa caralho!🇵🇹🇵🇹
They have Bernardo Silva...that's enough for a deep run!
People said Ronaldo doesn't have work class team so was this a lie?
excellent football podcast. they have really got this format nailed. feel like i am having a cup of tea at the end of the bar
Behind the scenes stuff is amazing! That's the real podcast!
Suddenly imagining Roy strolling straight into Berghain, and Wrighty being late and not getting in
these boys put a smile on my face, keep up the great vibes lads
I absolutely love these guys. Amazing to see. Really help me through my work days lol.
Having the behind the scenes bits is a great idea. Whoever thought to have those in...well played
Brilliant as always nice one lads please keep making them ⚽️👍
Since 2002, an Englishman's favourite saying every 2-4 years is "this is England's best chance".
Nah not really. England fans fell out of love with the team from 2008-2014. No one rated those team.England squad currently is world class in places, Rice+Bellingham midfield is exceptional, Kane is one of best strikers in europe. Lots of pace around the team. England is a top 4 team in the world right now but you need luck too to win big tournaments.
Poor ball knowledge. Engalnd did not even make Euro 2008
@@mediacenterman8583 Dumb reply. Where did I write Euro08 ? That really is a dumb reply tiny.
@@2011hwalker I wrote since 2002 , you can't pick and choose your years. The fan bandwagon still thumped the chest for England at South Africa WC. Nothing changes. You don't fall out of love for your nation, makes you a plastic fan.

“He tracks back? That’s his job!” 😂
I love the friendship between Roy & Ian its so great to see!
This is without a doubt my favourite football show - Roy and Wrighty's bromance, Gary's deference and professionalism, Jamie's scouse annoyingness and experience, Roy's derision and dry humour, and Ian's vulnerability and humanity......it just has everything.
The energy, the enthusiasm. I love this!
Perfect line-up. Every member has top level experience and insight. Never change these 4!
And one was a journey man, carra
I’ve gone off punditry recently but love the format of this show. It’s fun to watch, and whatever is being debated is always interesting.
Great show.
Makes me wish I was sitting with them.
All 4 proper pros and respect each others careers
Euro memory must be that pen by Psycho v Spain in 96. The emotion that he showed after the miss v Germany in 1990 just flooded out of him. Balls of steel.
Remember EURO 2000 when Romania knocked out England after England was winning at half time, 2-1 and Gary's brother Phil conceded a penalty towards the end of the game for the 3-2 winning goal? That was the best moment in an Euro tournament for us, romanian fans. Hope we met again, although this time the diffrence is really big in favour of England.
Thanks for the 90 seconds chat about Scotland
Absolutely thank foook it was only 90 seconds
The usual from them. I see England have won it already, again. Their arrogance based on nothing is quite funny.
We'll concentrate on Scotland and the opening game against Germany.
Scotland are absolutely pony. That’s probably why.
@@aussie5941 Watch some scottish media then if you want some scottish bias and scottish optimism. Oh wait there isnt any.
This is some great banter 😂
The 4 lads together makes this a great show. Love the 4 of them.
Just wondering if these lads are ever fed at home?? 😁 great show, great content..great to look forward to 👏👏
Portugal is criminally underrated. Bernardo, Joao cancelo(Barca I know)and Ruben Dias have arguably been city’s best players in the last 3 years. Joao Felix is one of the best wingers in Spain right now, Rafael Leao is the best player in Italy, Jota is legit at Liverpool, Vitinha is the best center mid in France, Nuno mendes and Raphael Gurierro are class left backs, Antonio Silva(Benfica) is wanted by all the best teams in the world at center half, Bruno Fernandes is a world class midfielder etc. they finally have an offensive minded coach in Roberto Martinez and they’re firing on all cylinders. Portugal can beat anyone no doubt.
Yeah but Roberto Martinez is the problem. Spanish offensive-minded Southgate
You've overlooked two negating factors. The manager is absolute dogshit and cannot coach defenders. Secondly, the coach is too spineless to drop Ronaldo. If he starts, which he most likely will, Portugal won't be doing any damage.
*are
Portugal are great until they come up against a decent side.
Joao Felix is not. You're on crack if you think he's good.nnn Leao is one of the best, not the best. Vininha is not the best centre mid in France, and Jota is OK, but not good enough. Whole lot of waffle there tbh.
These episodes have been gold.
Back to back Stick to Football! Love it!!!!
best football show on both internet and mainstream, Wrighty, Nev, Carra and Keano!! could watch them all day.
The problem with Ireland is.. if you are a good at sports growing up in Ireland you are more than likely going to end up playing Gaelic football, Hurling or Rugby.
My village didn't even have a soccer team and if we went to neighbouring towns to join their soccer teams we were looked down upon if we played a soccer match instead of a GAA match on the weekends.
Just take David Clifford from Kerry as an example. One of the most skillful Gaelic footballers the country has ever seen and an unreal athlete. Imagine if the likes of him played soccer instead of football growing up. Kerry only got their own soccer team this year. That tells you everything
That’s the same problem America has they have the worlds best athletes imagine they played soccer instead of American football or basketball.
It would be no competition.
The size of those lads and sheer athleticism is just insane
Ireland has more soccer players than Rugby players. Barely a third of Irish counties enter a hurling team in the All Ireland championship.
@@cba.literallycant.a US football player would have a heart attack if he had to run more than 10 yards every couple of minutes.
@@cba.literallycant. Thats nonsense. Football is different than other sports, technique and tactical awareness matters more than just being and athlete running around like headless chicken. Thats why in contact and main stream sports, football is the only sports that you find players 1.65 to 1.70 m that are not athletic with no pace and be legendary. Eg: Pirlo, Iniesta, Messi, Maradona etc
Being a genetic freak in terms of athleticism doesnt make you a better footballer, matter of fact could be hindrance.

Personally think it should be Foden on the left, Bellingham at 10, Saka on the right then Trent and Rice behind them. A lot of quality in our squad this tournament that's for certain
They think foden can play alongside rice, absolute twonks
@@highnoon7097 they'd be the first to complain about the naivety shown if it cost us a game 😅
I don’t think Gareth has the vision to take a trophy home tbh. Annoys me how none of his colleagues criticise him.
There’s no world you don’t play Rice behind Jude and Maddison
@roykeane1922 another option, think based off Bellingham this season he is much better higher up the pitch, which is why that's what I'd personally go with. Again though, Maddison just shows the depth we have as a team
I cant get enough of this guys, brilliant show
Brilliant thanks again.love these 👍
First 3mins is the best, proper casual conversation with banter.
Keane and Wright are an absolute vibe
This show was the best thing to happen to youtube. What an amazing show better than what we ever get on TV
Watching this back is funny seeing how the season has panned out for some of the players. Think they might need a second edition of this
Love the behind the scenes at the start
Loved the 30 seconds of scotland chances.
You just know Carragher is going to his proper mates and going “they’re all just a bit, ya know”
Love how Gary stops singing when Roy strolls up for the tea 😂😂
These guys were fierce rivals but look how well they all get on when it's all said n done.
The untouchables. Quality at its best.
To answer Neville's question on Ireland, the FAI's former CEO John Delaney drove Irish football into the ground with years of greed, excess and corruption. Academies, coaching and overall youth development is miles behind most other countries.
What a show, Roy Keane, Ian Wright talking about football is merry Christmas 🎉
20:00 im 36 and grew up playing GAA, a few of my friends were exceptional football players, lots got trials in england, 3 became championship players but 80% of those playing football transitioned to GAA and to this day you see very talented football players at a young age leaving football for GAA...crazy
Great episode gents. Love the show.
Only constructive criticism would be...Please do an episode on Scotland, we are there too. Understand that 90% of the audience are English, but we never qualify and would appreciate the same level of build up 😊 Not just "can Scotland make it out of the group"
They spent more time talking about Saliba, Courtois playing for England than they did Scotland! Good watch but honestly, come on. We can surprise a few teams I’m sure.
Keane’s such a legend!
Always great listening to Roy speak. He speaks facts and sense
Who wins the Euros? ⚽
Cant get enough of these keep them coming its box office gold. Best football podcast . So natural just football legends been themselves no script they obviously enjoy each others company .
Maddison not getting a mention for midfield is criminal
Maddison isn't mentioned, and neither is Tomori, despite his excellent performance for AC Milan. It appears he might need to reconsider his allegiance from England to Italy since he won't be able to get into the team.
Or maybe. We sack Southgate
He can't switch allegiances now, he's played too many qualifying games for England now. He's in the squad now and will no doubt make it for the euros if he continues playing well, as the show said, we're short on CBs so it's possible he could even start at the tournament
as a United fan its scandalous Rashford is even being mentioned
I'm glad someone brought up madders
He can’t do that
Quality Pod again lads keep ‘em coming’
Absolutely loving the consistency of these uploads. What a channel
Honestly if England have Jude, Kane and Saka in their primes and don’t win anything… it’s almost unforgivable
They had Gerrard, Scholes, Owen, Beckham, Terry, Ferdinand, Lampard, Rooney, Ashley Cole all playing together at one point 😢
No team has an automatic right to win anything
@@religdebno but when you have players like we have right now you’re definitely feeling like it should be big possibility
@@greeze4685 yea that's true but there's a big difference between it being 'unforgivable' and having a big chance to win something
Gary is spot on. If you guys don't start Foden and make him one of the main focal points then Southgate doesn't have a clue. He is vital to the success of the team.

one of the best shows on youtube 👏🏾
I think the midfield 3 of Rice, Trent and Bellingham is the perfect mix. Rice could hold and also drive forward when he gets the chance, like he does for Arsenal, Trent is the best passer in football and gives you unbelievable set piece delivery (and a few goals) and Bellingham is a monster at 10 or in the free role. As long as Rice and Trent could develop the understanding that 1 of them always has to sit in front of the back 4 in any given situation, then for me that is the perfect midfield balance
Trent is weak defensively, tho. Rice, Bellingham, can’t pick the 3rd one at the moment.
@@nas84payne I agree but I don't think he needs to be brilliant defensively in that role, Rice will provide the cover in the holding role and I imagine Trent being the ball player in there with Bellingham providing the main attacking threat. Plus, Bellingham's such a machine that he'll get back and help out if needed. I just think Trent is too good on the ball in terms of passing and creating chances, and providing unbelievable quality on set pieces, not to be in the first 11
Whole 30 seconds on Scotland. Cheers boys.
What are you expecting pal, seriously? I’m Scottish and no more than you, through and through but let’s not forget , its 3 English pundits and an Irishman..we turn this into a Scottish podcast? Sober up
If it was a Scottish podcast focusing on the Scotland with 3 Scottish blokes and 1 Welshman would you want them talking about England for a long period of time? Exactly
How many years have we heard “It’s Our Time!” about the last 20+
I would add Rodri to the England squad personally. Great show again the boys 💙❤️
Makes me laugh how they mention every goalkeeper goin, including Dean Henderson but fail to mention big Sam Johnstone who's stopping Dean Henderson from even getting a game. The amount of games he's kept Palace in or helped to win is unreal
Rice - Bellingham - Maddison midfield is well balanced
As soon as I got a notification that this has been uploaded I dropped everything to watch it! That’s how good this is!!
